The best restaurants in Kerry

18/07/2024: We stopped for tea and all was good until the scones were limited to five left this afternoon. After we had to go to another spot for additional treats.

18/06/2024: My husband and I visited the cafe on a day out to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. We found the staff very friendly.The cafe had a relaxing atmosphere and very clean. We both had the triple decker sandwich with soup.The meal was delicious and very well presented. Everyone in the cafe as customers were friendly too.We visited the weaving room nearby and we enjoyed the whole experience immensely.A real gem to be recommended to visitors!

12/08/2024: Great fish and chips, great jalfrezi curry spiced to order. Highly recommend the food. Very nice v service. Starters were good also and not too expensive. Wine reasonably priced. Would like v if they expanded to include a few cocktails and craft beers

25/07/2024: We had a fabulous lunch here, the freshest of food and everything homemade. Great staff and lovely surroundings. We ate outside the back of the restaurant as we had our golden retriever dog with us who was most welcome and loved pottering around the garden. Highly recommend.

06/07/2025: There was no proper menu, we had to walk up and look ourselves. We asked the waitress what the desserts were and she left out the fact that there was a chocolate brownie available( there was only 4/5 desserts.) My beef was too chewy, presentation was quite poor. I will say that the pub has a great atmosphere, but as far as the restaurant goes - I wouldn't recommend.

26/05/2025: This was a quick stop while visiting the Ring of Kerry. Nice place. Had a coffee here and it was good. Staff was really lovely. There's a museum next to it but didn't have time to visit.

Es el lugar perfecto para una escapada romántica, un retiro de bienestar o simplemente un descanso tranquilo de la vida cotidiana. Está en el lado más caro, pero la calidad lo justifica con creces. Una experiencia inolvidable.

27/03/2025: Comimos aquí recientemente y disfrutamos mucho de la experiencia El único inconveniente que pudimos ver es la espera, este restaurante no acepta reservas , tuvimos suerte , llegamos y nos dijeron aprox 90 minutos de espera, que estábamos dispuestos a esperar, pero unos 10 minutos después recibimos un texto diciendo que nuestra mesa estaba lista , en retrospectiva creo que fue un error de suerte a nuestro favor. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes , nos pareció muy bueno el personal. En cuanto al precio, valió la pena. El hotel es precioso. Sin duda volveremos.

06/06/2026: Spent 5 days and nights at Airt last week at Cormacs concertina workshop, everything absolutely 5 star, teacher, accommodation, food,location, trying to think up an excuse to go back.

30/07/2025: The Garden centre is a great place to drop into for gifts, or a browse. There is a lovely cafe -Jam. Cakes.The centre is child friendly and play outdoors

19/07/2025: Absolutely awful… Order a quiche and a coffee, lovely setting, unfortunately the quiche was not fresh it was more like rubber

06/12/2025: Haven eaten in many Michelin starred/mentioned restaurants, the food in the Yew Tree is of almost/arguably of the same caliber, top class.

26/06/2025: Great neighborhood Italian place open late in Tralee. We got the fungi appetizer, carbonara, and the pesto penne. All were excellent and fairly priced.

18/05/2026: Booked late and delighted to get reservation. Lovely welcome and atmosphere on arrival Delighted to see rack of lamb on menu which my wife and I decided to have. Extremely dissapointed when told by our waiter that the chef would not cook or serve the dish well done. After discussion we decided to share the chateaubriand steak . We were again told the chef would not cook or serve well done. What a dissapointed, left us both flabbergasted. We have travelled the world and eaten in the best restaurants on land and cruise ships and never experienced a chef refusing to cook a meal to our preferred requirements. Beautiful restaurant, great front house staff, great athletes but left a sour taste in our mouth and not from the "food". Whatever happened to "The customer is Always Right " Brendan
