01/04/2025: I decided to bring myself on a solo date for dinner in Jacks. It was daunting going solo but I had the loveliest experience. The waiting staff made me so welcome and were attentive without being invasive, the food was lovely and they accommodated a special order. It was made even more special by the magical piano playin of JP, a pure joy and a gentleman. JP plays here Thur- Sun and OMG is he worth the visit to hear. Oh and the view from the restaurant onto the sea is AMAZING. I will be back again for sure, again and again.

16/03/2025: Very good food and very kind waiting staff. However, the sodas were completely flat. We told our attendant and she changed it, but when we ordered the next one, we faced the same issue. The soft drinks are brought to the table in glasses, already poured and no sign of the can/bottle. Bottled/canned drinks should be brought to the table in their closed bottle/can. If that little but important detail was observed, the place would deserve a 5.

23/09/2024: My mum is a kerry woman born and bread. She lives in another part of the country now. Every year 4 ladys come down and travel round kerry all lost there husbands. All they do is eat out and visit friends , the best thing is eating out one a day and it's there high light of the day. One day last week they went in to your over priced pub restaurant and had a meal mum had the lamb shank it was so embarrassing to eat mum's got her own teeth well this was so tough it was like leather. Her sister in law sent it back for her so she got bacon and cabbage instead well it was not nice if your going to serve food in Ireland in an over priced pub please please do it properly people deserve it so people please eat somewhere else not a tourist destination. This is from a chef of 48 years . So the mum eat in a decent place .

03/06/2025: Awesome spot for pizza! The owner was so friendly, he recommended wine that was absolutely delicious. He made us feel welcome and didn't rush us. The food was absolutely delicious also. Prices were very good. We had several different pizzas and 2 different salads and dessert. I can't tell you what a wonderful experience this was. Would go back a million times! Thank you for your hospitality!

06/05/2025: Refreshing to done on something other than fish & chips. Pizza was excellent. Light crust with amazing toppings. Didn't feel over carbed!

01/06/2025: I booked a table for 4 when we arrived I was told our name was crossed off the list despite the fact that I was rang the evening before to confirm the booking eventually we got a table , not by the window we ordered our food and were later approached to move table which we didn’t. Three of us got our food and we were half way through eating when the fourth meal arrived. I found my beef very salty and I hadn’t added any salt to it. Very disappointed. I hope my next visit will be a better experience!

04/05/2025: Really excellent experience. Very good menu options, really competitively priced, generous portions, and the best views in the country!! We couldn’t believe the size of fresh chicken & Parma ham Caesar salad…and where would you get fresh rhubarb crumble & coffee for €7? Burgers, steak sambos, Greek salad - super choice on the menu. Lovely desserts too - pavlova, sticky toffee, cheesecake, tiramisu - they really know their customer base. Lovely staff too. Breakfast menu was lovely, will make sure to go early for that for my next visit. Really welcome addition to the casual food options in North Kerry.

01/04/2025: Llegué poco después de las 12 del día de la madre, como era de esperar estaba ocupado, poner nuestros nombres y consiguió buscapersonas para esperar, unos 25 minutos en (estábamos preparados para esperar, el tiempo era bueno) , había 3 mesas desocupadas que podía ver por edades, y ninguno estaba siendo aclarado. El personal era muy muy agradable, pero joven e inexperto, sin poder quitar platos de la mesa durante la entrega del próximo curso, volviendo con las manos vacías. Un funcionario dejó caer una carga de vasos por toda la mesa y tres niñas se sentaron a la mesa. Necesitan a alguien más experimentado para entrenarlos. Los ingredientes para las tortitas saladas también deben haberse quedado cortos, ya que era caro para lo que obtienes. El café estaba bien, probablemente no volverá para ser honesto.

30/03/2025: He estado viniendo aquí durante 15 años y después de mi experiencia esta vez nunca volveré. No había mesas despejadas en todo el restaurante. Esperamos unos 10 minutos para sentarnos inicialmente. Tuve que pedir que limpiaran la mesa. Tuve que solicitar menús y solicitar que nos tomaran el pedido. No estaba ni la mitad de ocupado de lo que lo había visto anteriormente. El personal era muy joven y no sabía cómo ser camarera o tener conocimiento del menú. Los baños estaban sucios. El grifo del lavabo no funcionaba, así que no podía lavarse las manos en el baño femenino. Después de 45 minutos, nos informaron de que nuestro pedido había ‘desaparecido’ sin disculpas, etc. Esto era un lugar al que esperaba traer a mis propios hijos y fue una visita decepcionante.

22/07/2024: Locals to Tralee myself and my husband came in for dinner. Service was very speedy and the food was delicious. My only criticism is that mashed potatoes should be served with roast beef. I was given a baked potato. It was still very tasty. Will definitely return

08/07/2024: First visit . Great menu. We were 5 adults and 3 kids. There was something for everyone . All food was perfectly cooked. Waiter very attentive. Unusually not very chatty for a Kerryman. But all was good. Good value considering the quality.

08/05/2025: WAS IN For a bite today. Service was outstanding. Helpful and genuinely freindly waitress. Food was excellent. Salad dressing was delicious
