26/07/2025: I tried to place an order both online and in-store around 9 PM, but it wasn’t accepted, even though the info provided said it was open. I had to drive over an hour to find another place to eat. Please update the information to avoid this for others
13/07/2025: The food is a bit mediocre, but considering it's a fast food place, it's not bad. The service from the blondes was terrible. On top of that, they threw ketchup packets in our faces when we politely asked for them.

13/07/2025: An absolute disgrace of a venue charging €20 admission to a mediocre venue on a saturday night. When you think of value for money and the level of service there's absolutely no way this venue warrants such an entrance fee. You wouldn't pay that in Cork, Limerick or Dublin City. I was down for the night with friends and having arrived around midnight I actually couldn't believe my eyes when they said €20 per person for admission. The 6 of us decided instead to go the grand next door much better offering and only €10 admission. Would not recommend to anyone visiting Killarney unless you're looking to get ripped off.!
28/06/2025: Ugh, gross and obnoxious, smelly and way too loud crap music. Maybe 15 is the age you have to be to think it's cool.

26/09/2024: Sheehy's Anchor Down is a restaurant located in Dingle, the most important one in Dingle Penensula. We came here to have dinner last October and we could eat a soup of the day and a home made fisherman's pie, which were very good. Also we drank a Golden Ale beer from West Kerry Brewery, which is not so far from here. Very nice place, decoration and food.
18/08/2024: I'm surprised to see such rave reviews. Everywhere we've gone in Ireland we've been treated to excellent hospitality. Until we went to Sheehy's...We were greeted by a grumpy waitress who gave us the worst table in the house even though there were lots of open tables. When she brought us menus, they were out of shrimp and calamari and mussels and other fish. I ordered the Seafood Chowder which was good, but my husband got the Fish Pie, which looked like exactly the same thing with potatoes on top for way more money.

10/09/2024: Standardized Asian fast food of acceptable quality. The service was friendly. The kitchen is open and visible. Here, food is cooked in batches for takeout and the restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very simple and functional. The restrooms were clean, but not really suitable or sufficient for a restaurant. The food came quickly and was hot. Compared to a good Chinese restaurant, it tasted rather average. However, the prices were fair, and they included a free soft-serve ice cream for dessert.
12/07/2024: It was closed today also, walk to the point and came back.
Google map day before yesterday said it was closed, but today it says open till 10 pm

23/07/2025: This venue must be a very special place run by a very special person. The hotel is currently closed to the public. It is being used to serve Ukrainians, most likely those displaced by the war. Thank you for your service.

27/04/2025: Situado en el centro de killarney. Parece cualquier otro pub / restaurante desde el exterior, pero es el interior lo que lo distingue.
Estábamos buscando un almuerzo ligero y nos quedamos impresionados con la elección que se ofrece. Dos miembros serviciales del personal de guardia que nos atendieron muy bien. excelente comida y dri nk que tenía un precio razonable. Volveré.
