The best restaurants in Kerry

18/07/2024: We stopped for tea and all was good until the scones were limited to five left this afternoon. After we had to go to another spot for additional treats.

18/06/2024: My husband and I visited the cafe on a day out to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. We found the staff very friendly.The cafe had a relaxing atmosphere and very clean. We both had the triple decker sandwich with soup.The meal was delicious and very well presented. Everyone in the cafe as customers were friendly too.We visited the weaving room nearby and we enjoyed the whole experience immensely.A real gem to be recommended to visitors!

12/08/2024: Great fish and chips, great jalfrezi curry spiced to order. Highly recommend the food. Very nice v service. Starters were good also and not too expensive. Wine reasonably priced. Would like v if they expanded to include a few cocktails and craft beers

25/07/2024: We had a fabulous lunch here, the freshest of food and everything homemade. Great staff and lovely surroundings. We ate outside the back of the restaurant as we had our golden retriever dog with us who was most welcome and loved pottering around the garden. Highly recommend.

06/07/2025: There was no proper menu, we had to walk up and look ourselves. We asked the waitress what the desserts were and she left out the fact that there was a chocolate brownie available( there was only 4/5 desserts.) My beef was too chewy, presentation was quite poor. I will say that the pub has a great atmosphere, but as far as the restaurant goes - I wouldn't recommend.

26/05/2025: This was a quick stop while visiting the Ring of Kerry. Nice place. Had a coffee here and it was good. Staff was really lovely. There's a museum next to it but didn't have time to visit.

27/03/2025: Comimos aquí recientemente y disfrutamos mucho de la experiencia El único inconveniente que pudimos ver es la espera, este restaurante no acepta reservas , tuvimos suerte , llegamos y nos dijeron aprox 90 minutos de espera, que estábamos dispuestos a esperar, pero unos 10 minutos después recibimos un texto diciendo que nuestra mesa estaba lista , en retrospectiva creo que fue un error de suerte a nuestro favor. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes , nos pareció muy bueno el personal. En cuanto al precio, valió la pena. El hotel es precioso. Sin duda volveremos.

30/07/2025: The Garden centre is a great place to drop into for gifts, or a browse. There is a lovely cafe -Jam. Cakes.The centre is child friendly and play outdoors

19/07/2025: Absolutely awful… Order a quiche and a coffee, lovely setting, unfortunately the quiche was not fresh it was more like rubber

08/09/2025: Incredible, almost magical spot ! Great breakfast, incredible service. Rooms are bright and clean. Step out to great views and walks or take a short drive to local sights or towns.

03/02/2024: Place is decent enough but the owner is an evil little smurf. I heard this place is closing, if that guy opens restaurant again, all stuff waiters and chefs please be careful.. ☺️

07/08/2025: Ordered for a take away this evening, for my wife, two children and I. I was shocked when told my Chinese was £106.50 and not £79.80. Apparently the menu on here is 5 years old, so dont make the same mistake. (Apparently they were aware) Despite this (after picking up a new menu on collection. New menu photo attached) I went over the prices and my order added up to £98.60. So not sure what happened here? Photo attached also (excuse the handwriting) After a long day and kids getting tired I didnt question it/or realise until I was home and finished eating. Aside from this I thought the food was below par. Lack of cucumber with the duck, pancakes stuck together and ripping (which ive not had before). Poor chicken satay. Abit bland and gloopy sauce(s) Did enjoy the House special fried rice though, on a plus side 👍🏻

01/08/2025: The food is very much an acquired taste, we had dinner for two for 33 euros, the amount of food was surprising, there really was a lot of it, the soup with corn and chicken was not bad, but very sweet and too hot to put it in a plastic container as it was served, it is not just harmful, it is very dangerous in plastic at such temperatures. All the other food is very strange, it is all as if in slime, it was very unpleasant to eat and impossible, the food was unpleasant, only rice was possible to eat and it is very strange that there are many tables in the establishment, but it is impossible to eat inside, I hope they will take into account all the comments and then it will be possible to come to this establishment again

31/08/2024: Delicious food served here. Breakfast is one of the best around here. The location is beautiful

27/08/2024: Came here after a long walk for a burger and a cup of coffee, food was good and service was perfect, I'll definitly come back !
