11/11/2024: Beautifully presented, delicious food. Service was impeccable. Two courses for four people, beer and a bottle of wine for less than 200 euro. Also a surprise birthday desert pour moisture! Lovely Manager. Highly recommend.

We came with a group of 8 rather last minute and they took excellent care of us. We’re already preparing for our next meal in a few months.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The Stirzarker family and their staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, creating an atmosphere that’s as friendly as it is comfortable. It’s clear that the team at the Dining Room truly cares about their guests, while the food itself is simply outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. You can tell the chef here is passionate about his craft, as the food felt creative and thoughtfully prepared. The combination of excellent food, fine wine and such friendly service makes dining at the Dining Room a truly special experience. If you’re looking for a place where you can not only enjoy an incredible meal but also feel truly cared for by a welcoming team, this is the restaurant for you. I cannot recommend it highly enough and we are looking forward to repeat the occasion on our next trip to Castlebar. Éamonn de Búrca

30/08/2024: A genuine bakery right here in Westport! Hidden away behind residential buildings but still right in the heart of town. AND, with sourdough cookies!! And freshly baked treats! This is magic little place that would be right at home in Paris. The only criticism is that they give planet unfriendly single-use cups by default. They do have ceramic cups, but they're not on display and so you have to make a special request to get one.

30/10/2024: A super cozy place, perfect for a romantic date. We couldn't be happier with the food. I highly recommend the Sirloin Steak. Everything was delicious and not at all expensive. The portions were very large and the presentation of the dishes was wonderful. We didn't have room for it. dessert but just seeing the desserts on other tables we couldn't resist!! The dessert of the day was delicious!!! And the price is very reasonable

07/09/2024: We had an absolute fantastic time at Tom‘s „The Gallery“. Tom does not only create incredibly tasteful food but fills the room with just the right music and vibe. It’s a perfect place to arrive, have a chat, ask for advice on what to do and what not to do in the area and simply feel welcome. In fact, we enjoyed it here so much, we decided to come here twice for dinner. This place is a „must“ for anyone visiting Westport.
