11/11/2024: Beautifully presented, delicious food. Service was impeccable. Two courses for four people, beer and a bottle of wine for less than 200 euro. Also a surprise birthday desert pour moisture! Lovely Manager. Highly recommend.

05/12/2024: We came to this site based on the reviews and it has been a success. The staff was super attentive and kind to us. They have been very concerned that our gluten-free dishes were perfect. In addition to having many options, they worry about cross contamination. And on top of that they have gluten-free desserts 😋

23/11/2024: The food was amazing. The chicken wings were incredible, great quality meat and the marinade was really delicious. Pizza equally as good with a really nice beer selection and the service was excellent. The servers were friendly and attentive and didn’t try and push us out with the bill at the end of our meal. 10/10 will be coming back

09/11/2024: stopped in while visiting the area and staff managed to fit us in despite them being full. boy oh boy were we so glad they did ! we ordered a range of dishes - goats cheese salad, pizzas and a burger (and the garlic & cheese 😍😍and truffle fries 🤤🤤🤤🤤 ) and every thing was fantastic. good vibe in the place and prices very reasonable for the dining experience. keep doing what you're doing and hope to visit soon again !

01/12/2024: Nice restaurant with a very good atmosphere in the center of Westport. The best Chowder I've had in Ireland. It was loaded with seafood and very flavorful. The mussels: Masterful. The Guinness Stew: Wonderful. The waiters were attentive the entire time. It is worth eating/dining here for quality/price/service 👌👌👌👌👌👌

14/11/2024: Recommended this place by a taxi driver & severely disappointed (in the food). Setting was nice & service was excellent (waiters were friendly & lovely). My starter was noticeably stale & my main was terrible.

09/11/2024: in the area recently and stayed overnight in the b&b. dinner was very nice and breakfast again top class. busy all day which is testament to the quality of service and food on offer. beside a busy main road so bit of traffic noise audible from the bedroom but all in all would definitely stay again

07/09/2024: We had an absolute fantastic time at Tom‘s „The Gallery“. Tom does not only create incredibly tasteful food but fills the room with just the right music and vibe. It’s a perfect place to arrive, have a chat, ask for advice on what to do and what not to do in the area and simply feel welcome. In fact, we enjoyed it here so much, we decided to come here twice for dinner. This place is a „must“ for anyone visiting Westport.

30/10/2024: Fabulous bakery, just sorry I missed the infamous cinnamon buns!!

21/10/2024: Went to go shopping at Lidl and saw Cornrue Bakery at the other end. Went there on Thursday and had one of their fresh, delicious, delicious cinnamon rolls with a cup of coffee. Then treated ourselves too, to one of their sourdough boulle breads. Excellent, excellent, excellent place to get amazing breads, pastries and coffee.

27/10/2024: Beautiful food, expertly prepared, hospitable service, and a beautiful room. If it wouldn’t require a transatlantic flight I would gladly dine here weekly. We came with a group of 8 rather last minute and they took excellent care of us. We’re already preparing for our next meal in a few months.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The Stirzarker family and their staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, creating an atmosphere that’s as friendly as it is comfortable. It’s clear that the team at the Dining Room truly cares about their guests, while the food itself is simply outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. You can tell the chef here is passionate about his craft, as the food felt creative and thoughtfully prepared. The combination of excellent food, fine wine and such friendly service makes dining at the Dining Room a truly special experience. If you’re looking for a place where you can not only enjoy an incredible meal but also feel truly cared for by a welcoming team, this is the restaurant for you.
