09/11/2024: 8 of us had dinner last night... From superb starters especially The Prawns to amazing Mains and dessert this is a top class restaurant... Everyone if us loved our meals... Attention to detail on the plates of food. The staff are so friendly and welcoming.... As well as evening meals I have had many lunches in Room 8 and always top quality food... Best restaurant in Navan...

Snailbox
04/11/2024: On our way home from Dublin and looking for somewhere to eat. Decided to give the Snailbox a try and so glad we did. Everyone was so friendly. I had the beef stew and apple pie. My husband had the Thai curry. The meat in the stew was so tender. My husband said the curry was really tasty. Dessert was yummy! Had a good playlist on. We will definitely be back.

08/11/2024: Clearly a good restaurant, immediately evident. Service appeared smooth, professional. Now, the food, yes, it seemed to be of a high quality, well prepared, presented ok, tasty, ok, nice, yes. But. However, the repercussion of a sleepless night with severe heartburn is not going down well. Note, this coming @ 04:45 ish in the morning, trying to deal with the situation. Also, in hindsight, left a generous tip, which wasn't really appreciated by the server, in that usual, at least with a polite thank you kind of way... This says, don't know, maybe entitlement? Maybe they know they're good, and so what? Well, tell you what, won't be going back. One star food for the night long payback...

31/10/2024: Breakfast as usual was very tasty. Busy spot with a queue to get seated even with the increased seating next door but a good sign to see a place busy and never let's you down as regards quality.

12/10/2024: Gorgeous food and great price. Had the breakfast wrap, top quality sausages & rashers, was beautiful. The kids lasagne & chips and juice for 7.50, excellent prices. Staff were great , very friendly. & Proper decent pop of tea with 2 tea bags per person. Will definitely return

08/10/2024: This is by far the best restaurant in town, and better than most places in the city! Every dish is the best version of itself here…Try litterally any of their offerings (personally love the chicken supreme dish and the Thai curry) and you won’t be disappointed!
02/10/2024: Pleasantly surprised. Hadn't heard of it before but visited recently with a large group and the food and staff were excellent. Wide range of options and good value.

17/10/2024: Very disappointed. We have been here many times but not after today. My sister was given the wrong bill and when she said it was wrong, the waiter got aggressive. The first bill was not itemised and he was very snarky when she asked for an itemised bill. The first bill was €30 more than the correct bill. She asked for the manager. He said it was just a mistake but didn't apologise for either the mistake or the attitude of the waiter. We will take our business elsewhere and we won't be back.
