17/07/2024: Had carvery lunch in the ivy bar on Sunday, was beautiful couldn't fault it. However went for an evening meal later in the week, ordered a medium fillet steak and a Korean chicken burger, steak arrived went done close to burnt, chicken burger also burnt and missing half its toppings. Took over half an hour to come out, desperately slow. Eventually got the attention of a waiter who took it back and returned 10 minutes later to say they are making a replacement, the manager Eventually came down with a very fake apology, 25 minutes later a medium steak which was nice arrived, 55 minutes for a medium steak isn't acceptable, the staff on the till new asked had the manager mentioned a discount which she happened, so she had to check and the instruction to her was take off 4 euro off a 30 quid steak, not acceptable won't be back.

01/06/2024: Love the atmosphere in this pub. The staff are efficient and very friendly. We always pop in here when we visit Dingle . There are usually locals in here and they have some great stories to tell.

18/03/2025: We met the owner nearby, John Clynch, and got to telling with him. What a great person. He is super friendly. This is a great local pub with tons of character. A truly great experience!

13/11/2024: Went on a night out with some friends hoping for a good time, unfortunately that was not the case. One of the younger bar staff shortchanged us multiple times and it was very hard to catch their attention, as they were constantly on their phone. Atmosphere felt very clannish amongst the younger crowd, not very welcoming to new people. We felt very uncomfortable throughout the night, and finding it hard to catch the barman's attention as well as being shortchanged added to the unfortunate situation. As much as I'd like to give this place another chance, we've agreed as a group we will not return here for a night out.
