The best restaurants in Sligo

01/11/2025: In a world speeding up with seeming indifference to strangers and travelers on the rise, the Coach House Hotel stands alone in defense of the old ways. People matter here, as you'll be able to tell from the moment you step through their doors. Everything in my room was very clean and comfortable, and every single staff member I encountered went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care with a smile. And the food, well, it was one of the best meals I've had in the whole of Ireland. You can tell a master at work when such seemingly simple ingredients as chicken and potatoes are not only presented so beautifully but clearly cooked with love and attention to detail. I will be going out of my way to come back as often as possible.

29/11/2025: Have visited Stoked on so many occasions over the past few years and it is consistently FABULOUS! Everything is delicious, the staff are lovely and service is great. Food comes out when it's cooked which makes for a lovely way to eat. They are always adding interesting flavours in their main dishes and specials and it just always seems to work. Their basque cheesecake and Korean cauliflower wing are highlights for me (and I despise cauliflower!). Keep doing what you're doing guys! 👌

02/01/2026: We called to make a reservation and they were very busy but managed to fit us in. We were a little early on our arrival but they accommodated us with a table. The staff were so friendly and nice. The food was quick but delicious. Nice cosy little atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

30/11/2025: Staff nice, steak sandwich overpriced and disgusting. Chips looks like bucket was just refilled with hot chips and old chips at bottom. Lamb not fresh and roast potatoes not fully cooked. Seafood chowder very watery. Do not recommend, Very expensive and food not good quality. But staff are friendly and helpful.

14/12/2025: Probably the best burger in Sligo. We had the American Dream called burger Rebel burger and cheese curry chips. Everything was beautiful especially the burgers! Negative side that they are open only from 3pm...

11/12/2025: Nice wee hipster spot. Food ok, a bit overrated, nice folk though, hard to beat the sligo heads. There is another burger place in sligo but its absolutely awful, avoid the dirty dog joint.

09/10/2025: The owner and staff are great and the food was amazing and very authentic, its the exact same you'd expect in an authentic Jamaican or African restaurant in Dublin so it was nice to find a place up in Sligo too. 5/5 because I can't give it a 10/10

11/11/2025: Love this hotel got a fantastic balcony room it was outstanding got a lovely treat as we were celebrating 40th wedding anniversary, the hotel is so central in Sligo, private parking underneath hotel a small fee for secure parking. Our meal was beautiful and breakfast was outstanding too can’t wait to go back. The hotel staff was outstanding and attentive great hotel to visit.
