08/05/2026: I love visiting the Harp Tavern for food & a few drinks. Really friendly atmosphere, the food is amazing and the service is always top notch. Ann in particular, always goes the extra mile for the customers and always makes you feel at home. Would highly recommend.

29/03/2026: The Flip side, Co Sligo, offer "serious burgers" And jaysis they do! My partner got the Conqueror (chicken) and I got the Smash Hit (beef) and we shared the Garlic parmesan chips. The flavours were amazingly balanced and the quality was fab! We could see how the place is a good hang out spot, the vibe is like a relaxed visit to a friend's house with the bonus of very friendly and pleasant staff! Paddy, as well as two other servers met us both with smiles and chats. We took their recommendations of food and we were thankful we did! We highly recommend The Flip side in Co. Sligo! Well done guys, we will be back with family and friends. Thank you! ❤️

06/04/2026: Excellent vibes about this place! I believe it was a 'Dale' spotted us coming in and immediately made sure we had seats, which was highly sound of him and welcoming. Got seated next to and chatting to a long established regular 'Nathan' who was beyond civil and a credit to himself and to the pub. Pub itself is super cool, well presented, well lit, great music, superb beer garden, very relaxed, and drinks were spot on and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. Not just one of the best bars in Sligo, one the best bars in the country I reckon. Well done to all👌

02/04/2026: We had a quiet evening out at this restaurant. Service was great with all staff doing their absolute best to ensure we had a pleasant evening. The food was good, but certainly not as most of the reviews we read described. That is to say, it was fine. There was more care in the presentation of the dishes than in the actual taste, but it is certain that people would be happy with what they will eat. I think salads were on the weaker side and so were the desserts compared to the rest items on the menu.

10/05/2026: A fantastic find for lunch! The service was impressively fast despite the number of people, and the food was delicious. It has a genuine, homemade feel that you don't often find in a restaurant. Highly recommended.

09/03/2026: Lots of room inside, and a good atmosphere. Large portions and good food. Although we were told it wasn't necessary to book, we are glad we did as it was busy when we turned up - as there aren't many other places to go in Strandhill!

04/04/2026: 5 Star experience. Staff are amazing and so friendly. I have a 3 and 2 year old and we are away for Easter break. They received a goodie bag on arrival with chocolates and colouring activities for Easter. They have movies every night and a float in the swimming pool. Jay in the pool was brilliant with the kids. Thanks to Ann who gave the kids an Easter egg and made them feel at home. Mammy Johnsons ice cream stand pop up available everyday during our break a real extra treat. Breakfast was gorgeous and again the staff are wonderful and accommodating. Very little they haven't thought off. All these extras were free of charge at no extra cost which was fantastic and much appreciated. Location is perfect for trip to beach with strandhill only 10 minute drive We will be back 💯

23/04/2026: Stayed in the hotel next door, so perfect location. Food and Service were fabulous and I will definitely go back when in Strandhill - the bars is perfect for a drink before or after (or both)!
