24/03/2026: What a find ! So glad we saw someone review this on IG as it made us travel from Sligo out here and so glad we did. Food was absolutely yum. The prawns were sizzling and came with bread great for dipping in the chilli oil. The ribs with chimichurri were so tasty but my fave was the aubergine, absolutely yum with the lime squeezed over it. Parking available in a car park across the road. Stoked is above the Strand Bar which is worth going to as well.

04/04/2026: 5 Star experience. Staff are amazing and so friendly. I have a 3 and 2 year old and we are away for Easter break. They received a goodie bag on arrival with chocolates and colouring activities for Easter. They have movies every night and a float in the swimming pool. Jay in the pool was brilliant with the kids. Thanks to Ann who gave the kids an Easter egg and made them feel at home. Mammy Johnsons ice cream stand pop up available everyday during our break a real extra treat. Breakfast was gorgeous and again the staff are wonderful and accommodating. Very little they haven't thought off. All these extras were free of charge at no extra cost which was fantastic and much appreciated. Location is perfect for trip to beach with strandhill only 10 minute drive We will be back 💯

03/04/2026: We had a wonderful experience in the Sligo Park Hotel. Food was fabulous, for both kids and adults. Staff could not do enough, especially Andrea. Very family friendly. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend it.

15/03/2026: Since dogs aren't allowed inside, we ate in the backyard, a bit of a hodgepodge, but nonetheless cozy. The "Chicken Parmy" was a hearty and satisfying meal. It wasn't haute cuisine, but it did the trick. Having also indulged in a dose of chill-rock (some might call it "alternative metal"), we left feeling completely satisfied.

16/03/2026: If you want a burger in Sligo you come to Flipside, the food is amazing, they have great options for allergies including coeliac.

15/03/2026: Booked for 7pm Arrived early 6.50pm Sat.... And waited, people on table behind us asked for and got the desert menu.. And got the desserts, people besides us ordered coffee, got their coffee.. but then. A table of three got seated AND the waiter then 5mins later took their order. THAT WAS ENOUGH! Myself and my daughter got up, I went over to this waiter , who had given us menus and our table. I said I'm sorry we are here 35mins and no one has taken our order, yet the table besides me sat down and within 5minutss you took their order. We are leaving!!!!!

11/11/2025: Love this hotel got a fantastic balcony room it was outstanding got a lovely treat as we were celebrating 40th wedding anniversary, the hotel is so central in Sligo, private parking underneath hotel a small fee for secure parking. Our meal was beautiful and breakfast was outstanding too can’t wait to go back. The hotel staff was outstanding and attentive great hotel to visit.

09/03/2026: Lots of room inside, and a good atmosphere. Large portions and good food. Although we were told it wasn't necessary to book, we are glad we did as it was busy when we turned up - as there aren't many other places to go in Strandhill!

19/03/2026: Monday afternoon carpark full but only waited 5 mins for a table very efficient service constant flow of food coming from the kitchen great place to bring the kids or a family gathering good choice of food very generous size portion at very reasonable prices

05/03/2026: Lovely place with delicious food. We stopped here for lunch during a trip and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The cod with chips was delicios and the soup is great. Loved it. Saved just in case I happen to come back to this part of Ireland.

13/04/2026: Baozi of the day cost 10.5 for 3 little tiny Baozi that you can get in any local market. I must get ripped off😅 Lanzhou ramen was also what I ordered. No clue what that is even can’t live up my lowest expectation whatsoever. Alright, it’s maybe I’m an Asian and the food there is made for locals. Not recommended.

09/04/2026: The food is delicious and looks exactly like it. 😃 The servers are very nice and helpful. The place is small. You have to arrive in good time to get a seat. They are quite full during dinner time. The service was fast regardless. 🙂

18/03/2026: Absolutely fabulous meal last Saturday night. Was recommended to go here by a few people and it didn’t disappoint. The food was stunning, - we ordered the tomahawk and definitely would recommend if you visit. The staff are brilliant who genuinely cared about the experience, alongside the homemade bread at the start which was amazing - Definitely will be visiting again very soon.
