14/06/2025: What an amazing little gem, hotel is beautifully kept, rooms were warm and cozy, the staff were so helpful and welcoming, wishing us a safe onward journey, will definitely be back! Good was also amazing! Steak is a must!

07/06/2025: Ann and her team were absolutely spot on! I went here for a stag party for my friend and we couldnt have asked for a better night. I had went in to reserve a table and Ann sorted us out with a private function room , the room was spacious had a smart TV we could use to play some music and we got regularly checked on by the staff who were all amazing! We decided to order some pizzas between us all and in my opinion its the best pizza in Sligo , cooked to perfection so fairplay to the chefs! great job! If your looking for a friendly spot to have a stag / birthday I would highly recommend here. Ann is one of a kind and I am glad to have had such a special night here. Couldnt recommend enough
05/06/2025: While stopping by for a beer, we encountered the least friendly and smiley waitress in all of Ireland... A disdainful look towards the French tourist who didn't understand at first...
Luckily, the Guinness was cold.

07/06/2025: The steak salad was the best I’ve had in a long time - Mizuna/mustard greens with steak, pickled ginger, and peanuts in a spicy dressing. My husband’s lamb stew looked fresh, meat was good. So happy to find a salad in Ireland that wasn’t just a few pieces of cos/romaine with a salty dressing. If I were staying longer in Sligo I would go back again.

23/06/2025: Been to the swagman numerous times, never fails to deliver, service is second to none always well staffed, food is 5 star great portion sizes and lovely food would recommend a pizza or the chicken parm! Dale and his staff always up for a laugh! Great pub all round
19/06/2025: Dale was so accommodating as we were from Australia and dying to watch State of Origin in Australia. Dale even gave us coffee on the house. When we had left on the road to Doolin, we realised we had not paid for a delicious soup meal. We rang immediately offering to send through the money but were told not to worry and good luck.
Would highly recommend to anyone but particularly any Aussies travelling through.
Thanks again, Dale, for making our day.

07/07/2025: Lovely spot while staying at nearby campsite. Prawns were delicious, the chowder was the best, kids loved the pizza. All round was a great lunch and we went back for an evening meal a few days later. Fab. Highly recommend booking a table.

18/06/2025: Eala Bhan is the best cuisine I ve experienced in The Wild Atlantic Way Area.They deserves every compliments. Very warm welcoming staff, helpful waiters and the kitchen team. They are taste magicians I guess. I ate fish,meat and chicken at the same menu and all of them were a masterpiece. Must try point if you in Sligo and I highly recommend.

04/06/2025: We initially walked past this place as we headed into Sligo centre for a look around and something to eat. After struggling to find somewhere that offered decent home cooked food, we headed back to the hotel and just happened to pop in here on our way.
And what a lucky happenstance it was!
All food here is cooked from scratch. It was great value and served by attentive, friendly staff. Not surprisingly, it was really popular with those in the know. More than a few of the customers were clearly regulars. There's additional seating upstairs and a lovely courtyard.
I'd definitely recommend eating here.

09/04/2025: Very welcoming staff. Warm homely feel to it. Crows nesting in April is a nice novelty.
07/04/2025: The hotel is very easy to get your bearings in.
Staff are all very friendly and helpful,
Cleaning service is immaculate, you do not have to worry about any belongings going missing.
Food is very good.
I also forgot some clothes at the hotel and reception helped me out and sent me my belongings back via post.
Overall great experience at the hotel all facilities met my needs and the kind gesture did not go unnoticed. Hats off to the Staff.
5/5 and would highly recommend this hotel.
