27/02/2026: If you’re anywhere around the northwest and haven’t called into Stoked Strandhill, you’re seriously missing out. From the moment you walk in, there’s a great atmosphere, relaxed, welcoming and stylish without trying too hard. It’s the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. The tapas-style plates are exceptional. The quality of the food and the produce they use really stands out. Every dish is packed with flavour, thoughtfully put together and perfect for sharing. It’s a menu that encourages you to order a few plates for the table and enjoy the experience at your own pace. The service is next to none. Shane and Angie run a fantastic operation and it shows. They’re hands-on, professional and make everyone feel genuinely looked after. You can tell there’s real pride behind what they’ve built. It’s easily one of the top spots around and a must-visit if you’re in the northwest. Highly, highly recommended

01/02/2026: Arrived there recently for a few drinks i didn't stay to long as the front bar resembled a dog show, there was 6 dogs roaming around the front bar with their owners very off putting especially inna premises that serves food.

01/02/2026: There are so many lovely and amazing bars here in Sligo. Swagman is my favorite. After a near decade of drinking here I'm proud to call it my local. If you want to experience a true "Irish pub" come to the Swag, great staff, great food and lots of local craft beer to choose from :) LGBTQ ally x

27/01/2026: I had a tasty dinner in coach lane recently I had a steak with a mojito and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately the service was disappointing at best as I was severed by a young man called James/Jamie who I felt was quite rude and ignorant throughout the night it felt he didn’t want to be there at all.

16/03/2026: If you want a burger in Sligo you come to Flipside, the food is amazing, they have great options for allergies including coeliac.

15/03/2026: Booked for 7pm Arrived early 6.50pm Sat.... And waited, people on table behind us asked for and got the desert menu.. And got the desserts, people besides us ordered coffee, got their coffee.. but then. A table of three got seated AND the waiter then 5mins later took their order. THAT WAS ENOUGH! Myself and my daughter got up, I went over to this waiter , who had given us menus and our table. I said I'm sorry we are here 35mins and no one has taken our order, yet the table besides me sat down and within 5minutss you took their order. We are leaving!!!!!

09/03/2026: Really enjoyed my meal here. I ordered the dishes in the photo and they were excellent. I decided to go for something quick and asked the host to recommend something for me. It was perfect quick meal while in the town for work. The noodles were nicely cooked with a good mix of vegetables, and the stir-fried chicken dish had great flavour with fresh ingredients and a nice balance of spice. The portion size was generous and everything tasted freshly made. Overall, a very satisfying meal and I’d definitely order this again if I’m back in Sligo.

11/11/2025: Love this hotel got a fantastic balcony room it was outstanding got a lovely treat as we were celebrating 40th wedding anniversary, the hotel is so central in Sligo, private parking underneath hotel a small fee for secure parking. Our meal was beautiful and breakfast was outstanding too can’t wait to go back. The hotel staff was outstanding and attentive great hotel to visit.

09/03/2026: Lots of room inside, and a good atmosphere. Large portions and good food. Although we were told it wasn't necessary to book, we are glad we did as it was busy when we turned up - as there aren't many other places to go in Strandhill!
