The best restaurants in Sligo

29/08/2026: Very nice place! Love the outdoor area but the menu is very small and wish they served fish and chips outside too.

03/08/2026: Such a lovely restaurant! Loved the atmosphere, very cosy, food was delicious.. vegan version of pizza was no problem, super delicious, but there were other options.. cant wait to visit again!

06/09/2026: I ordered the special which was a caramelized onion filo tart with blue cheese on top with arugula and a mustard seed based dressing; needless to say, full of flavor! I also had the Korean cauliflower wings--so delicious and perfectly cooked. I had extra wing sauce i wanted to dip bread in so I added the breads n dip to my order at the end...don't do it, at least don't order the gluten-free version. Flavorless unlike other gluten-free breads I've had over the years. Tasted like they came right out of a bag of bread from the grocery aisle. The sauces that accompany the bread are descent. But again don't bother and maybe go with something else (or stick with their sourdough which I should have). I also had the cherry pie and yes, please! Perfect amount of sugar in the crust and excellent blend of tart from the cherry--highly recommend! This place had an excellent vibe and they clearly care about the establishment. I would definitely go back and I love the tapas style, too!

05/09/2026: An average dining experience. The restaurant's location was its best feature. The food, service, and ambiance were not particularly impressive.

29/06/2026: The vibe here is great and the outdoor seating is really nice, perfect for a slow brunch. I got the breakfast bravas with chorizo which hit the spot, and my partner got the simple which she loved too.

21/08/2026: Amazing burgers, rosemary fries are the bomb. Great vibe and service top level. My 5 y.o son won a bet against the boss: eat the whole burger, you get an ice cream ! 😄

17/08/2026: Authentic Korean & Japanese restaurant in the heart of Sligo city. All the staffs are friendly from the beginning and we left with smile. Maki rolls are out of the world and so worth every penny. Their homemade kimchi and pickled wild garlic are must have as well. Nice touch to the main dish. Great value compared to other restaurants nearby. Highly recommend when craving for high quality Asian food. 25/08/2026: Hands down the best cafe I’ve ever been to! As a celiac, they had plenty of gluten free options for both breakfast and lunch, as well as gluten free tray bakes. Staff were so welcoming and helpful when I mentioned I was a celiac. Coffee was to die for and the actual cafe was super cute and cozy. 11/10 and will definitely be back next time I’m up that neck of the woods.

05/09/2026: On a day trip to Sligo, we had an early dinnerat The Harp Tavern. The food was really very good and included Fish and Chips with a large portion of cod and crispy chips. We also ordered the seafood chowder (pictured) which they are known for. Along with all this food, we had a cheeseburger that was very, very good. It was cooked perfectly and had a good crust on it.

01/09/2026: As a longtime New Englander, I can say this is maybe the single best bowl of seafood chowder I've ever had. It haunts me, it's so good. Stop what you're doing and go enjoy it with buttered soda bread and a Guinness.

21/08/2026: Excellent pub in Sligo. The menu is similar to other pubs. I recommend asking for the special of the day, which isn't on the menu. I ate that and was satisfied.

11/08/2026: Went into the swagman the other day for some lunch.. best ceasar salad iv ever had.. Service was great and a great vibe in there :)

19/07/2026: Wow! What a find. My wife and I had been looking for quality pour over coffees during our trip and found Dan at Rover. He was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing his love for coffee.

11/07/2026: OMG, we have just finished our main course, everyone in our party of 7 is raving about the food. Unique food, incredible flavours, a perfect culinary experience. Get in here folks, and it’s BYOB - bonus!!

26/08/2026: This lovely, quaint cafe sits just off the main road and has some very nice menu selections, friendly staff and a great relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

16/08/2026: Loved this place. Cafe staff were rushed off their feet but were apologetic to customers. Really friendly, with excellent food, in a really great location.
