27/02/2025: We were touring Ireland and this was very close to where our bus stopped. Where most busses seems to stop in Cashel. Typically, in the US, that would mean this kind of place was the lowest quality, serving tourists with little to no care or quality. Quite the opposite here in magical Ireland. Top quality with friendly staff and excellent food. Highly recommended!!

Good quality food. However few items unavailable as listed on menu. Notably 1 on vegetarian dishes unavailable and NO cheeseboard available, which was disappointing.! Otherwise good experience, and would recommend.

10/03/2025: Same problem as always for me. We ordered fish and chips (which was nice) but when I saw what everyone one else had from their menu I should have ordered that instead. The other customers food looked lovely; I was jealous. The place is full of locals, visitors, farmers and workers from all around the area enjoying a great reasonabley priced meal. Must pop in again when passing through.

22/02/2025: Had a stop for breakfast in Cashel on our way to Cork from Galway, I lookes up a few places for breakfast but Room 4 Coffee caught my eyes. Coffee was really good, my girlfriend always complains about coffe shops not being able to make Mochas, well this one does. The only negative but wasn't too big for me as I'm not picky was that my breakfast was a little cold while my girlfriends baked potatoes were still hot.
22/02/2025: Just enjoyed a fabulous vegan breakfast full of flavour and variety .

12/03/2025: We had an evening meal here. The services were excellent. A lot of salt / seasoning used on elements of food, particularly starter warm bread. Perhaps more noticeable as we do not use salt at home. Meals we had were excellent...., BUT we still can not accept or figure out why a steak attracts such a high supplementary charge almost everywhere in Ireland.. I just can not figure out or justify this practice. The garden room is lovely but was a tad cool to dine in (We're not heat fanatics ), We overheard others comment re this also. Perhaps a fire effect heater might help. A lovely dining experience and meal overall.

22/02/2025: Just had the most delicious gluten free meal in Jennys Kitchen. Would highly recommend. We left with a goodie box of 7 different Gluten Free cakes for just โฌ22. Incredible value for money. Thanks guys. We will be back.

26/02/2025: The service was good, very friendly and attentive waitress. Convenient location but food was rank and overpriced. I ordered the chicken burger and himself had regular burger, and a portion of wings. Quality of chicken was just really poor and tasteless.
Both meals were extremely messy (as expected but a bit over the top messy) but when I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, the soap was watered down? Iโd understand if it was someoneโs house but not a restaurant. That is so unsanitary.

We recently went to a branch of this restaurant in Dublin and loved it so tried our local one!!
The food was even better! Staff were fabulous and very efficient! We went on a Tuesday night so it was as expected a bit quiet!
I had the mussels to start which were spot on, lovely sauce! Followed by the Cod, green beans and a cherry tomato ๐
, boiled new potatoes! It was so perfectly cooked 10/10. My wife had the scampi and said the were even better than the Dublin ones! I raved all evening!! No room for dessert. Pictures to follow!

15/03/2025: Stayed in Carriag hotel for about 12 weeks in total over the last year and a half. Staff were top class, very friendly. Food top class, very well fed. Would recommended to anyone that's looking to stay if on work around tipperary/Kilkenny/waterford broader. Or in kildalton agricultural college which only 10 mins drive away.
