15/10/2025: My friend and I had a meal in this establishment Wednesday 15th October. Once you walk in the door you enter a cosy homely atmosphere. We were greeted by Colleen who I must say was the most pleasant young lady I have ever met in a restaurant. She has a tremendous personality and was so helpful and engaging while we were there. The food was top class, wine excellent and considering it was early the restaurant was half full. I will definitely be returning. John.

03/11/2025: We had dinner her on Friday last, the food was excellent and the lovely attentive young staff were a tribute to the youth of Ireland. We have been coming here for years during previous management.The only thing lacking now is the traditional music night

28/10/2025: Not entirely as expected. A single egg. It’s called avocado toast but the bread wasn’t toasted, just bread. The salad part of this dish was actually very good. But the single egg, bread, and fatty bacon was disappointing. At a cost of €17 it should be to a higher standard.

14/10/2025: In Roscrea for a few hours and E53 was recommended, coffee was spot on, tasty and delightfully presented. Food was prepared so well and the two girls behind the counter were so nice. What a find, 5 star no problem

04/10/2025: Beautiful experience in E53 with my daughter. This is a hidden gem. It was very busy but super relaxed and all staff were so professional. I will definitely be back. Capacino was devine. Acia bowl delicious

17/09/2025: Would be a regular visitor to bodega and always thought of it as a special occasion style restaurant. Went back today to celebrate an anniversary and from the moment we walked in, it was completely off. We were left waiting at the front in what looked like an empty restaurant. Wasn’t asked for our names and brought to a table. I specifically mentioned in the booking it was an anniversary but there was no mention of this throughout the experience. Food, which I might add has always been amazing was unfortunately extremely poor. Patatas bravas were an extra €6 and was once a full bowl of potato’s with chorizo and cheese etc however now they are plain? And only maybe 10 or 11 small cubes of potatoes. The rest of the food came out luke warm and some extremely greasy. The tenders came out with barely any sauce and felt like they’ve been sitting under a hot lamp for a while. The manager mentioned the menu was new and if I’m extremely honest, a step down. I must mention the manager himself was and always has been a pleasure to dine with, however he worked alone. No other staff. This might have a knock on affect with the dining experience and something they should really look at as there was already 6 tables of 2-4 people each. Hope someone from bodega reads this and can implement some changes to avoid another business suffering in clonmel, as I’ve always said this is or was a great place to dine.

28/09/2025: I am big Mocha lover. I had it in many places and can convince that in one19 one of the best. It is reach my high level. I had white decaf Mocha half/half coconut/oat milk. Delicious protein balls and flapJack.

25/10/2025: We had a 60 wedding anniversary last weekend for my mam and dad and from the moment we arrived we were treated very well well done to all the staff for making our evening so enjoyable

06/10/2025: This place is a gem! The people are kind, the breakfast is delicious, and the country house accommodations are spacious and beautiful. Clonmel is a bustling little city in a fertile countryside dotted with remnants of medieval Ireland and holy wells that speak to much deeper history. You can get the bus from here to a number of beautiful sites and also to Limerick or Waterford if you wish. The trail along the meandering old river is a perfect place for a walk.

21/09/2025: We drove an hour to Chez Hans because the food is that good. The Sunday lunch was fantastic—each dish beautifully presented, full of fresh, seasonal flavors and great textures. The quality really shines through, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back for this memorable meal. My all time favourite is the beef ribs :)

19/09/2025: Fantastic!! Worthy of a Michelin star! They once had a star, but gave it back. Never had such delicious rack of lamb! The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Worth the detour!! Beautiful location in a sort of old church built in the late 1800s. Modern and religious art hangs intertwined on the walls.

10/10/2025: 15/6/25: A busy, busy place on a sunny weekend. Despite the place being full to the brim, service was prompt and friendly. We were fortunate to find a table outside owing to the good weather. A tasty fish and chips with the usual trimmings plus a curry sauce for one meal the other being breaded Brie with said and chips. Not a cheap meal but that seems to be the situation anywhere since Covid 19 struct. Some people I understood were pre-booking a table to ensure a place.

05/10/2025: Halal Steak with Argentine Meat! Absolutely incredible taste. Can accommodate up to 40 people. Great service. Parking can be challenging.
