09/11/2025: Just had the nicest roast beef dinner in this little gem of a restaurant, the quirky decor is fab and staff so friendly we will definitely be be back when we travel through again 😍 photo doesn’t even do it justice.

03/11/2025: As a traveler from New Hampshire, USA, we stopped in for a bite on our way to rhe Rock of Cashel. The food was excellent, I had the Eggs Benedict and my husband had the Full Irish Breakfast and we had an Irish and a Baileys coffee. Service was fast and the staff couldn't be friendlier. Will definitely return when back in the area.

07/11/2025: We popped in after the Rock of Cashel for a coffee and we were met with the most incredible, kind hospitality. Further, they gave us some brilliant recommendations for our onward journey. Highly highly highly recommend 5/5

31/10/2025: It's a very nice place, with an amazingly good atmosphere. The price-value ratio is also excellent, but what made it truly memorable was the friendly service.

26/11/2025: Great restaurant in Nenagh, Tipperary. I was there for an evening meal. The customer service was excellent, a very nice choice of meals on the menu for both the starter and main courses. Something for everyone. The food was well presented and was very tasty and delicious. Good selection of desserts and drinks. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

25/11/2025: We had a lovely evening in the peppermill,prompt service, lovely staff and food was really tasty and presented beautifully.

10/11/2025: I just left; we stopped there randomly on the way to Dublin and... wow! It was like eating my grandmother's lasagna. The hostess was very pleasant and her service impeccable. Thank you for this delicious experience 🫶.

28/10/2025: Not entirely as expected. A single egg. It’s called avocado toast but the bread wasn’t toasted, just bread. The salad part of this dish was actually very good. But the single egg, bread, and fatty bacon was disappointing. At a cost of €17 it should be to a higher standard.

09/11/2025: The Caesar salad was delicious, the cinnabons were divine, and the latte and chocolate were excellent. The service was polite and fast. The price was good.

25/11/2025: Stopped in as a halfway point on a 4 hour journey for a stretch of the legs and a bite to eat. We were made feel welcome the minute we walked in. We didnt catch the barmaids name but she couldnt do enough for us. She noticed I was watching a game on my phone and put it straight on the tv for me,served up thr finest pint of guinness Ive had outside my local, told us where the bathrooms and smoking area were in case we needed them, and chatted in a friendly manner throughout. She's a credit to the place. A friendly "hello" from the local customers was also nice. Food was super tasty and came in hugely generous portions. Steak sandwich is beautiful! Pricing is fantastic value. Will return for sure

18/10/2025: Day 1 of our 2025 Irish getaway: we received a warm welcome. We ate very well, it was truly generous! €80, including four drinks. Perfect!!!

17/09/2025: Would be a regular visitor to bodega and always thought of it as a special occasion style restaurant. Went back today to celebrate an anniversary and from the moment we walked in, it was completely off. We were left waiting at the front in what looked like an empty restaurant. Wasn’t asked for our names and brought to a table. I specifically mentioned in the booking it was an anniversary but there was no mention of this throughout the experience. Food, which I might add has always been amazing was unfortunately extremely poor. Patatas bravas were an extra €6 and was once a full bowl of potato’s with chorizo and cheese etc however now they are plain? And only maybe 10 or 11 small cubes of potatoes. The rest of the food came out luke warm and some extremely greasy. The tenders came out with barely any sauce and felt like they’ve been sitting under a hot lamp for a while. The manager mentioned the menu was new and if I’m extremely honest, a step down. I must mention the manager himself was and always has been a pleasure to dine with, however he worked alone. No other staff. This might have a knock on affect with the dining experience and something they should really look at as there was already 6 tables of 2-4 people each. Hope someone from bodega reads this and can implement some changes to avoid another business suffering in clonmel, as I’ve always said this is or was a great place to dine.

13/09/2025: Amazing restaurant. Food was excellent, great selection of tapas food. Bueatiful decor. Great atmosphere. Special deals very reasonably priced. Good wine &: cocktail list. Extremely attentive & friendly staff, can't wait to go back

10/10/2025: 15/6/25: A busy, busy place on a sunny weekend. Despite the place being full to the brim, service was prompt and friendly. We were fortunate to find a table outside owing to the good weather. A tasty fish and chips with the usual trimmings plus a curry sauce for one meal the other being breaded Brie with said and chips. Not a cheap meal but that seems to be the situation anywhere since Covid 19 struct. Some people I understood were pre-booking a table to ensure a place.

20/09/2025: The pub is a wonderful local spot. Very friendly people and the proprietor , Joe, is very charming. The service was the best we've had yet, in a week in Ireland. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the halibut special and my wife had the organic chicken. Both well presented and tasted amazing. An absolute must stop for anyone looking for a great meal and a lovely pint.

13/09/2025: A great pub experience! If you're looking for a proper Irish pub experience, look no further than The Whiskey Still. We stopped in for some classics—the fish and chips and a pint of Guinness—and everything was fantastic. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect. The atmosphere was exactly what you want from a local pub, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

25/10/2025: We had a 60 wedding anniversary last weekend for my mam and dad and from the moment we arrived we were treated very well well done to all the staff for making our evening so enjoyable

06/10/2025: This place is a gem! The people are kind, the breakfast is delicious, and the country house accommodations are spacious and beautiful. Clonmel is a bustling little city in a fertile countryside dotted with remnants of medieval Ireland and holy wells that speak to much deeper history. You can get the bus from here to a number of beautiful sites and also to Limerick or Waterford if you wish. The trail along the meandering old river is a perfect place for a walk.

28/10/2025: We visited in November the food was lovely with exception of chips which were very bad, there were like boiled potatos with one lucky properly fried one chip. I ate cezar salad which was ok Lamb shoulder which was delicious And chocolate musse which was nice but was to much crumble pieces for me and not enough of musse. My husband had beef carpaccio ( i hope i spelled that right) which was ok He had duck leg which was the most delicious duck we ever ate, and he had sticky toffee pudding which he said that was the best he ever has and he enjoyed the pudding a lot. The atmosphere was nice. Service was interesting...... As we entered we were seated in a bar area at the tiny table and we were given a menus and as we are there first time we were thinking thats it, thats the place, and we were puzzled how the plates will fit on those tiny tables -no one from staff mentioned that is the waiting area and we will be seated elswere later. . First time there we knew nothing about the place. About 10minutes later we were told that out table is ready and we were shown to bigger dinning room. The place was nice and clean. We were served by 2 different people which which from we got totally oposite vibes from. The lady in her 50s with no smile, with no hapiness that she did not like to be there. Not very welcoming, kind like she was in pain or something. At the end i believed that she was going to ask us if the food was ok but instead she said " the food was ok, right?" and she didnt wait for an answer from us, she just asked and answered her own question. On the other hand the male server in his 50s or 60s was a delight, smile, beautiful happy energy radiating from him. Very welcoming. After we paid our bill, my husband went to use a restroom and i waited in the hallway and this nice waiter noticed me waiting there and he bring me a chair to seat. Outstanding manners. We will return for sure

27/10/2025: Chez Hans is a joy of a restaurant- Delicious cooking- our go to with foodie friends-quintessentially Irish-local-friendly-with a quality of cooking that stands up to the best. The fish is excellent, the care with vegetables, what can I say, it is where I brought my children to give them a joy of food, of gathering. Thankyou to the Mathias family for your commitment to great food and hospitality.

05/10/2025: Halal Steak with Argentine Meat! Absolutely incredible taste. Can accommodate up to 40 people. Great service. Parking can be challenging.

08/11/2025: Amazing food and service from start to finish. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. The soup of the day (vegetable) was one of the best we’ve ever had. The stuffed chicken was cooked perfectly—tender and juicy. The steak shillong was rich and flavorful. The pan-fried cod was outstanding. Every dish showed great attention to detail. Highly recommended. If there were 10 stars, I’d give 11.
