27/06/2026: We had a lovely diner at the Peppermill. The service was good and the waiter was very nice! The food was good and the portions were big. I would definitely recommend it when in Nenagh

02/07/2026: Good sandwiches, freshly made and with good ingredients, however we were deeply disappointed by lasagna we recived. Way to much beshamel souce, Tomato one tasted like from can. Service was bit odd as they have not told us even about kids menu. If not for those it would be good place to recommend

01/06/2026: Of all of the well-researched restaurants we visited, this was universally our favorite. Somehow eight of us each ordered meals we loved. I feel certain my burrata salad eclipsed them all though! It was a perfectly balanced blend of sweet and savory. The service was attentive and helpful. The restaurant itself was chic and well appointed! We were so delighted with our meal that we even ordered desserts! I wish we could be regulars here.

29/05/2026: Absolutely excellent. From the second you walk through the doors, the staff are just exceptional so friendly, kind and extremely helpful. The food is just incredible, every single course was just delicious.

04/06/2026: Had a fabulous mid week lunch here, 2 adults and a toddler. The turkey and ham was delicious, huge portions and reasonably priced. Dining area or bar seating options. Very family friendly, with lovely staff who included the little one in conversation(unsure on a changing area for smaller children but was able to change nappy in the spacious bathroom stall) Would highly recommend to anyone looking a bite to eat!

30/06/2026: Booked a table for three today husband had steak sandwich mother and I had the cod in beer batter oh my goodness the fish was incredible and huge the steak sandwich was also over and above anything we have had elsewhere, the service was great very helpful mum in a wheelchair and nothing was to much trouble and to finish it of the decor is beautiful calm and modern , we will be back often !

29/06/2026: My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here last Saturday. Great service from very friendly and efficient staff despite being extremely busy. Lovely bustling atmosphere between customers and staff. Hats off to your kitchen staff, and especially your head chef. Their food was outstanding, fish n chips was perfect and in my opinion your duck wings are pure genius, so nice I had two portions.

05/10/2025: Halal Steak with Argentine Meat! Absolutely incredible taste. Can accommodate up to 40 people. Great service. Parking can be challenging.

07/11/2025: We popped in after the Rock of Cashel for a coffee and we were met with the most incredible, kind hospitality. Further, they gave us some brilliant recommendations for our onward journey. Highly highly highly recommend 5/5

31/10/2025: It's a very nice place, with an amazingly good atmosphere. The price-value ratio is also excellent, but what made it truly memorable was the friendly service.

14/06/2026: I thought that good breakfasts were a thing of the past. Not in Matt the Tresher. Was there this morning, got a very generous full Irish that I couldn't even finish. Might be the first time ever. Very generous portions, top grade ingredients, and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Will be back for sure

24/04/2026: We stopped here on the drive to Cork and the food was incredible and the staff was so kind. They offered to serve lunch 45 minutes before it was time for us. 4 of us ordered different things and all of it was so delicious. It is definitely worth the stop!

14/06/2026: Had Sunday lunch here again today, we live a good 50 minute drive from here but worth travelling for to.....no 1 the staff and all the staff might i add are super friendly and helpful, beautiful pub/restaurant with loads of character, tables not on top of one another, plenty of room, great parking and the food is absolutely fantastic......a great choice of menu, served very well and is just mouthwatering delicious tasty food, from starter to dessert.....good portions and excellent value for the quality and service you get. Can't praise this place enough, a absolute gem in Borrisokane and well worth a visit. Once you go once u will be heading back. Keep up the good work 👏
