23/11/2024: We just had the best meal again in Bodega, the food, atmosphere and drinks were exceptional (especially the cocktails, thanks Chris) 5* as always. Also thanks to front of house, Darragh, who was so helpful in picking drinks and food

28/11/2024: We parked on a side street & were walking toward town center & met a lovely woman. She said, "Are you on holiday?" "Yes, we're walking toward lunch. Can you recommend something?" 14/11/2024: The perfect pub. The staff and locals are so nice and welcoming. The Guinness was unreal and the toasted ham and cheese sambo’s we’re outstanding. Well worth a visit if you’re anywhere near Cahir.

30/11/2024: Six of us had a wonderful lunch here Nov 30th,a great selection of starters and main courses. Portions are very generous indeed. The feather blade beef in particular looked delicious. Janos the manager looked after each customer as if we were his close friends. I'd say the staff are taken care of just as well. Worth a journey.

27/11/2024: I’ve come here a few times now, food is lovely albeit menu a little limited for lunch options Great place for a coeliac to go to, their brown bread and scones are delicious! Great range of desserts on show- the coffee cake was beautiful! Will be back!

17/09/2024: Super tasty food!! Loved our wraps & the cinnamon bun was amazing. The coffee was coffee and staff were so friendly too! We travelled from Limerick to come here, will definitely come back!!

24/11/2024: Always a pleasure to dine in Barne Lodge, wide range of food on the menu, daily specials are always top class and the Best Sunday Roast followed by delicious desserts you won’t be disappointed visiting it’s a great spot to meet friends and family as you can have conversations without having to shout over the ambient background music. You can always talk and hear your friends when live bands play here too.

17/11/2024: Had a lovely meal here on Sunday evening. It was busy and a really nice atmosphere. Staff were superb in accommodating our group of 14 people. Food was excellent and we weren't waiting long. Prices are very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend.

23/11/2024: Honestly was excited to come here with my family. We are traveling on vacation and this was our final day in Ireland. We normally take recommendations from locals in the area and everyone was telling us to come here for dinner. It would have been nice to know that reservation was required. However we didn’t know that. When walking in the restaurant was empty minus maybe one couple. The host seemed really rude and unwelcoming after she found out we did not have a reservation. While I understand that reservations come first I have been to many places that have had to turn us away for the last minute table and theres a way to do it kindly. We asked if there was a way to out our name in incase there was a no show or cancellation which she informed us that there wouldn’t be because there is a 24 hour notice (which there still can be a cancellation, things happen all the time). She seemed reluctant to put our name down for a later time and I never received a single text or call about our reservation at 8:30 pm. When we left the pub next store an hour later it was still pretty empty. It honestly just felt like she didn’t want the American tourists there. Even the pub goers were surprised that this had happened and said it was unusual.

11/11/2024: What can I say the most amazing meal Sunday lunch I’ve ever had. Have eaten here for dinner a few times always fantastic , Staff are always so attentive and friendly. But the Sunday lunch is on another level 3 courses for €42 with such amazing choice something for everyone we were spoilt for choice. The restaurant was at full capacity but calm and efficient staff made it so relaxed. The fabulous fire so cozy and just adds to the lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back hopefully before Christmas if we’re lucky it’s not booked out. Can’t recommend highly enough . Hats off

08/10/2024: Amazing experience from start to finish. Loved the bar area where you sit before you go to your table. Food was unbelievable. Never had food so tasty and looked fantastic. Staff had a great knowledge of the menu and wine available. Cant wait to go back.

17/11/2024: Dog friendly, if you don't mind sitting with the smokers. I still don't understand why in the UK and Ireland that dogs are not allowed where food is being served. There is no law against it, so you are alienating a rather well off section of society

15/11/2024: Great pub, friendly characters and great food. Josie behind the bar was unreal we had a good laugh. My friend and I had bangers & mash and Vegetable curry. Well worth a visit and lovely people make a place worth it even more.

29/11/2024: Eaten well and plentifully, you can find different and typical Irish breakfasts. the restaurant is small but welcoming, clean and homely. the staff were friendly and attentive.

23/11/2024: Cozy and very special restaurant. The service was very good and the food amazing! I ask for a chicken pesto salad , and i find it surprisingly good. We also ordered the chicken tenders, the lasagna and the pasta carbonara. ! You can't leave without trying a dessert. We loved the lemon tart.

13/10/2024: Ein originelles Lokal, allerdings haben wir offenbar einen Tag erwischt an dem eigentlich zu sein sollte. An Dienstagen scheint überhaupt in Clonmel nicht viel los zu sein, weil wir ziemlich lange suchen mussten um überhaupt einen Taxifahrer zu finden der an diesem Tag arbeiten wollte. Als dies endlich gelungen war kamen wir in ein fast leeres Lokal, das zwar sehr gemütlich war, aber auch an diesem Tag war nur eine Dame fürs Service da. Sie war zwar sehr freundlich, aber die Speisenauswahl war dürftig, die gebackenen Champignons und die gebackenen Shrimps waren ausreichend als Portionen aber auch die Lammkottelets ließen den erwarteten Gaumenschmaus vermissen. Die Weinauswahl war dürftig und nur durch "Stifterln" a 0,25 l zu befriedigen. Kann sein, dass wir nicht den besten Tag erwischt haben, aber man sollte sich vor Bestellung eines Tisches über Transportmöglichkeiten vergewissern.

21/10/2024: Top pub ,great welcome, good pint of Guinness, had the Crack with a few locals.,Richy, Paddy,and Jeremiah.Only down side there are a fee Chelsea fans ,but we sorted them out 2-1. Will definitely be coming back ,Thank you .
