28/01/2025: Absolutely fantastic food, we went on a Sunday and went for the traditional Sunday roast dinner and my god it was fantastic. Good size portions, beef was cooked to our own desire and the potatoes were over the moon. Well worth the visit and definitely going back

04/01/2025: Had absolutely gorgeous tapas here - probably the best I have ever had! Great variety of dishes, with great ingredients and wonderful flavours. The service was friendly and really attentive. The restaurant itself is lovely with great lighting, comfortable seating and a sharing stand on every table.

As for the food, each course surpasses the last, flawlessly cooked with thoughtful twists that leave you eager to return and explore more of the menu. Yes, Cashel has seen new dining spots emerge, but Chez Hans remains unmatched. Its charm, hospitality, and unmistakable Céad Míle Fáilte set it apart. (And for full transparency—I’ve tried the new places too.) Highly recommended.

28/01/2025: The best meal experience I’ve had in a long time. The pre dinner drinks area is such a nice touch. Friendly and charismatic staff. Everything was delicious. Lovely atmosphere in the dining room. Highly recommend the colcannon

27/11/2024: I’ve come here a few times now, food is lovely albeit menu a little limited for lunch options Great place for a coeliac to go to, their brown bread and scones are delicious! Great range of desserts on show- the coffee cake was beautiful! Will be back!

21/12/2024: Setting beautiful. Atmosphere really lovely busy but calm. Staff so pleasant and plenty and no rush to clear tables after each course. The food was so tasty. Flavours coming through in all of it. Steak was nicest one I have ate in a long while in any restaurant. I had asked for very well done and it was and yet not burnt and soft as butter. Would well recommend Befanis as a night out to savour.

13/11/2024: Brilliant place to stay, central of the town so easy to get back to. Rooms are spotless and the breakfast is cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend it.

20/01/2025: We didn’t stay in a hotel but had dinner in the bar area. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted amazing! One would not expect such a high quality food in the bar! Great value for the money as well! Staff was nice and friendly as well.

20/01/2025: I had a meal at cahir house so I didn't stay in a room however the restraunt was lovley the food was delicious even if the menu was limited, happy for it to be limited if the food quality is high

02/02/2025: Absolutely superb meal, we were a group of 6, out for a celebratory meal. Not a single negative, food beautifully presented and the flavours were just top class. Staff efficient, and kind, lovely quiet old world atmosphere.

02/02/2025: Had a superb meal with 4 family members who travelled from other parts of Ireland. I had the braised lamb with mash and gravy. It was Fantastic. My wife loved her Sirloin steak.

19/12/2024: We had the day 2 of our wedding in The Castle and the lads couldn't do enough for us, Mark, Darren, Fergal and Rachel thank you so much for everything! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely as always, everyone had a great night and our family from County Down are dying to come back the next time they are down!

21/10/2024: Top pub ,great welcome, good pint of Guinness, had the Crack with a few locals.,Richy, Paddy,and Jeremiah.Only down side there are a fee Chelsea fans ,but we sorted them out 2-1. Will definitely be coming back ,Thank you .
