The blond waitress already gave us a dirty look when we told her that we were having coffe and cake “for now”, and with our coffee half finish the waitress approached us again with the bill and asked us to leave the table coss there was people waiting to be seated. Not even 30 minutes after being served. She didn’t even bother to ask if we were gonna get anything else to eat. It’s a pity because the cake and the coffee was lovely and the food looked unreal but just because of the awful and unpolite customer services I would never visit the place again nor much less recommend it to anyone…

28/04/2026: We went for Sunday lunch here and were so delighted with our experience. The building itself is so beautiful, and worth stopping in for a drink even if you don't have time for a meal. I'm vegan and couldn't see anything listed on the menu, but they were able to provide me with a delicious 3 course meal, a vegan surprise, if you will :) Often the vegan options at places feel like an afterthought, something quickly thrown together, but this meal was so good I ate every bite. The servers were wonderful too, with one of them even offering to run to the shop to grab plant-based milk when they were out of it (above and beyond!! Obviously I said it wasn't necessary, haha). Also very reasonably priced for such quality of food. Highly recommend!

11/04/2026: Had a steak sandwich here a few weeks ago and it was probably one of the best I have ever eaten. Crisp bread, good quality steak, mushrooms, an onion ring and pepper sauce for 20 quid is a steal these days. Restaurant is beautifully designed and very modern. Definitely worth a visit when you are in the area. Paddy’s next door is nice for a pint but this is the place to eat

03/03/2026: On a Sunday was serving choice of taditional Sunday roasts; pork turkey & beef with baked salmon, mushroom tagliatelle & a beef stroganoff as alternatives. All served piping hot very tasty. Starter & desert were delicious too. Maybe not fine dining but good solid fare, well executed. Bar area is a rustic gem, must have a preservation order put on it.
