18/06/2025: Chips were nice but very small portions. Atmosphere wasn't great as the customers ahead of me were told when food was cooked that they only accept cash so they'd to search their bags to see if they'd any loose change. Very awkward. Maybe staff should inform people first before they order that they don't accept card 🤔

04/03/2025: Way too overpriced. Absolutely disgusting chips full of grease €6.50 for a bag no bigger than my hand. won tons with not won ting in them chicken skewers more chicken on a wing and everything over cooked. Paid €31.50 and not even a bag of prawn crackers. Never going back.

Rude ignorant staff especially that older woman.She has actually tutted at me when ordering.Waste of money.DONT GO HERE SAVE THE HASSLE AND STOMACH PAINS

07/09/2025: Ordered a delivery and asked for extra onions in the chicken fried rice, didn't come with any onions and also didn't come with peas or carrots which are in it as standard. So I had the privilege of paying €12 for fried rice with a bit of chicken in it - rip off!
28/08/2025: Ordered king prawn fried rice and a spicebag,not what we expected,prawns were the shape of curly fries,the spice bag didnt have much flavour and the chicken balls were cut in half. Never had such a bad chinese before. I also found prawn poop still in the prawn.

19/08/2025: We had lunch in the his bar and found it average at best, we were upstairs over looking the bridge, the view was good but the seating was old, with damaged tember and very uncomfortable, this bar/restaurant would need to take advantage of their location and give the place a well needed makeover.
The staff were very friendly and the food was fresh.

21/08/2025: The driver didn’t check our details, didn’t even say hello, he handed us our food and left. So rude… it was like a horror scene when we received our food. The bag was smothered in oil… and was soggy. We opened the bag and our food looked like it has been eaten. IT HAS BEEN EATEN BY the driver or soemthing… I will be complaining to the HSE. I am NOT coming back EVER AGAIN. if only I could show you the photos…the delivery was 10€… we only ordered a burger and taco chips.

21/04/2025: What a terrible bar we got moved out after gettting in early had about 3 drinks and got kicked out all 4 of us weren't allowed even get our coats had to practically beg the security to get them they were very rude would not recommend here at all save your money go somewhere else way too overpriced to think it's the only late bar In clonmel shows how bad clonmel is getting needs a major uplift in staff and management also drinks are way too overpriced

10/08/2025: The food was so nice and tasty. The guys were serious but polite. I would recomend this place for a quick stop to eat something cheap and good.
02/07/2025: Got “barbecue Cajun chicken bites” didn’t get barbecue or chicken in the yokes.
The thing were the size of my small toe didn’t even get a single dip for free, driest bit of dough I’ve ever had (tried charging €10 for a dip)

There’s practically one person running the joint which looks to be a small Asian girl making everything herself , props to her.
13/08/2025: The River House Cafe – €15.95 for a so-called “full Irish” with no beans, no mushrooms, and pudding slices so thin they could have been cut on a microtome. My daughter ordered a €4.95 peach iced tea after seeing the beautiful picture of one on the wall — lemon garnish and all — only to be handed a plain bottle of Lipton iced tea with zero garnish.
The server was lovely (if slightly embarrassed, in my opinion), but the experience overall had negative value for money. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. This place has genuine 5-star potential, but it feels like greed has taken the wheel.
