16/07/2026: A truly beautiful McDonald's. A beautiful wooden structure both inside and out. Wooden stairs and exposed beams make lunch/dinner unique. The staff is very professional and friendly, and table service is prompt. The food is well-cooked. It's definitely the best McDonald's I've been to so far.

07/04/2026: Beautiful location, was in superior room at rear of b and b and stunning view to wake up to. Room very large with huge 4 posted bed, sofa bed and single bed. Tv is 32 inch, modern for use to watch Netflix etc and has a little kitchen area for guests with washing machine, dryer, microwave etc. Staff are lovely and would do anything they could to help. Although the outside needs a bit of work and the bar is unique, this is a hidden gem with an amazing rate and free breakfast.

21/03/2026: Very accommadating as we arrived after an early morning flight. Dee was so flexible after our red-eye trip we felt very welcome. We understand why other people we met at this place are repeat guest. Being at the junction of the two rivers make for great views. Amazing value when we added in the full Irish breakfast (taste great, not sure the photo do it justice) and scrambled eggs or other options too. As we were very tired, it was nice that the bar is in the building and we took a pint up to the room. Our room wifi was a bit weak but still OK. There was a washer and drier in the common room. Nice deck outside if the weather is good. Again, Dee (hope spelling is right) is very friend and shared wonderful information about the area, culture, and recommendations. Nice craft shop on the main floor too. This is was everything we needed in a B&B at a great value. Thank you Dee.

04/05/2026: Tempura prawns were frozen. Tasteless. Fish and chips were ok not great. Small portions of fish and overpriced. Guinness was decent.

11/04/2026: Whenever I’m in Bray, this is where I head for a meal. The only downside was a specific visit where the staff were surprisingly short with my dad. He took it in stride, joking that it was just part of the local charm, but the locals sitting beside us were quick to tell us that such behavior isn't normal for Ireland. Aside from that one-off encounter, I still highly recommend this spot.

19/12/2025: Deplorable value - not for me. I can buy a jar of coffee for less than one cup at that place. The Irish are insane buying coffee at overly inflated prices everywhere - be wise when travelling, but a thermos flask and bring the coffee with you. Save a bundle too and have your coffee on a nice place with a view - that's what I do. They don't call me Shylock without reason wink wink

23/10/2025: Great place for morning coffee stop off. Plenty of parking. Clean and tidy with pleasant staff.

08/08/2026: Quick and tasty food with excellent service. They fixed our order without hesitation and were very kind.

08/08/2026: Extremely disappointing. The burrito was packed with cucumber but had almost no salmon, despite salmon being one of the main ingredients. The nori was chewy instead of fresh, and the overall quality was poor. It looked and tasted like it had been thrown together with very little care. Definitely not worth the money. Update: I am not a former employee. I was a paying customer and my review reflects the meal I received. I also uploaded photos of the burrito from my visit. Update 2: I visited this restaurant yesterday 07/08 and paid by card at 3:12 PM and the food was ordered to take away. In few days, I intend to remove this review.

11/07/2026: I stopped in Kilcoole during my road trip and was pleasantly surprised by one of the absolute best Indian meals I've had anywhere in Ireland or the UK. The Sikandar lamb was delicious: the perfect amount of creaminess, spices, and heat. Don't miss this gem if you're passing through the area!

31/05/2026: Ordered chicken tika masala for myself with pilau rice and dahl with boiled rice and we have to say the food is genuinely so good. Made naturally and in house. Genuinely if you are looking for a solid indian take away this is definitely the spot cause once you try it once its your go to 🫡

25/05/2026: Very nice place mostly not a lot of people inside either when I went.I order sushi most of the time which is after 5pm but is always amazing no matter what you get very friendly staff helps out a lot

15/02/2026: Shoe string chips like fried finger nails very hard and put in a heater for many hours disgusting exept the burgers but you need good chips but these chips are the opposite of what you could eat

15/06/2026: Went here once for a coffee and breakfast roll. Now I keep coming back for it because the people are great, the food is priced amazingly and the amount of food you get is astonishing! 100% recommend!

27/06/2026: Very disappointed with the spicy bag. The portion was extremely small and came in a tiny takeaway box/carton, not even a proper bag. For the same price I pay in other places, I expected a normal-sized spicy bag, but this was nowhere near enough. It feels unfair to charge the same price while giving such a small portion. The food itself may be okay, but the value for money is very poor. I would not order this again unless they improve the portion size.

12/05/2026: Incredible experience, great staff, great food - appears pricey, but you will get your money’s worth and then some. You will leave that place full to the brim. Highly, highly recommend.
