The best restaurants in Wicklow

11/10/2025: Nice cafe inside a furniture shop. Hot chocolate was good, marshmallows and different milks were included in the price. Service was friendly, the menu has loads of lunch options that I'd like to try some other day.

08/03/2026: Im an american...whenever i goto visit my family in greystones i always come to this burrito place...these young guys built an amazing business...I do a mostly carnivore diet and i love hot sauce...so when i order from them i always get the ghost pepper salsa which is super tasty i must say and i ask for extra meat but no beans or rice...and they have never charged me for extra meat...these lads are top notch...carnivore..vegan or regular diet....they got you covered

18/12/2025: Amazing place, we had Indian food. Staff is absolutely lovely. I would recommend to try the food. People visiting that place were so friendly. Good options for vegetarian people. Will visit whenever near by.

19/12/2025: Deplorable value - not for me. I can buy a jar of coffee for less than one cup at that place. The Irish are insane buying coffee at overly inflated prices everywhere - be wise when travelling, but a thermos flask and bring the coffee with you. Save a bundle too and have your coffee on a nice place with a view - that's what I do. They don't call me Shylock without reason wink wink

23/01/2026: We ordered food tonight in Tikka as a collection from ballymore eustace for a birthday party. Half the order was wrong so one of the party had to drive all the way back and had to wait for order to be ready again. Ruined the atmosphere of the "suprise" birthday party and to add insult to injury for THIER mistake was a bag of prawn crackers. Not good enough!!!!

28/10/2025: I tried Asian food for the first time and absolutely loved it! The udon and Tom Yum were incredibly delicious. The restaurant is very cozy and clean, and the staff are so polite and attentive. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

26/07/2025: A great place for coffee and small bites like cookies, cakes and others. They also have brilliant ham and cheese toasties, which are not easily seen in the menu, but are delicious. There's plenty of outdoor sitting in the back, which is especially good when the weather is nice. The staff are fantastic, which is one of the most important aspects. They really go out of their way to make make things better, and that shows.

16/10/2025: Lovely course in a semi-wooded undulating landscape. We played 18 holes on a Groupon deal. The staff were welcoming and the members equally so. Afterwards we enjoyed a chicken curry in the clubhouse before heading home. It was a lovely day out.

28/12/2025: Great spot on Bray front, short hop from the beach. Plenty of street parking, quick service. Indoor and outdoor seating, dog friendly. Courteous, professional staff, reasonable prices.

26/12/2025: Went here as it was one of the few places open on 26/12 with vegan options. Except they had practically no food and, of course, no vegan options. Only cheese toastie and sausage rolls. It was close to 11am and it was full, but nowhere did it say they were working with limited options. In the end reading the reviews I'm glad I went somewhere else.

15/02/2025: I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experience at Elephant and Castle. What was supposed to be a romantic Valentine's Day dinner turned into an absolute nightmare. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with hostility, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. When I mentioned I wasn’t sure what to order yet, the server rolled their eyes at me—an incredibly rude and unprofessional gesture. They then barked, “What ye want?” in a tone that made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. This was not the warm, welcoming atmosphere I expected, especially on a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. The service only got worse from there. We were completely ignored throughout our meal, making it impossible to order more drinks or even get the attention of the staff when we needed something. To make matters worse, I witnessed something utterly appalling: a staff member took drinks off a table after the customers said they weren’t the right ones, and then proceeded to serve those same drinks to another table. I was horrified to see the couple at that table take a sip, completely unaware of what had just happened. This level of unhygienic and unethical behavior is unacceptable. This rudeness was experienced by many as I spoke to fellow guests who also complained and felt the same way The entire experience was embarrassing and frustrating. I would never recommend Elephant and Castle to anyone, especially not for a special occasion. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere. This place is a complete letdown
