11/02/2025: We recently celebrated two 90th birthdays at The Woodland Restaurant. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and taken care of. The exceptional service truly set the tone for the event. There was a slight hiccup with some guests delayed due to traffic on the M50, but the staff at The Woodland were more than accommodating, allowing us to start later without any hassle. We never once felt rushed. It made all the difference and allowed everyone to arrive and enjoy the celebration together. The food was excellent and the presentation fabulous. Andrew’s rendition of "Happy Birthday" was spectacular and will be remembered for years to come. The venue is stunning with huge picture windows and fabulous views. The staff made the birthday couple feel like royalty even gifting them birthday cake, tea, and coffee. It was clear that every detail was taken care of. Our guests were raving about how wonderful the whole day was. Thank you to Frano, Andrew, and all the staff for making this milestone celebration so memorable. Your kindness and attention to detail truly made the day a success. Highly recommended!

10/02/2025: We celebrated our parents 90th Birthdays last weekend in the woodlands restaurant. From my first phone call to Frano to organise the event for 30 close friends and family, to saying goodbye after the very enjoyable luncheon party was over, was flawless. They thought of, and planned every detail like we were the most important people to them. When we arrived, Frano introduced us to Andrew, the restaurant manager, who looked after us impeccably for the afternoon. The service was flawless, the food was delicious, the atmosphere and views were incredible. Andrew even serenaded our parents with the most amazing rendition of Happy Birthday we have ever heard, he is obviously a professional singer. I couldn’t praise this restaurant and our experience enough. We will certainly be back. Thank you Frano, Andrew and all the staff for making our visit so memorable.

19/01/2025: Pretty disappointed to be honest have been a customer for years and tonight they cancelled my order said I was being refunded, I rang them they explained that an item wasn't on the menu ,I picked a different item and they said look you'll be refunded soon we will ring back and take payment ,10 mins later nothing in bank these refunds take 3_5 days

21/11/2024: Really nice pub. We sat beside a warm wood burning stove and enjoyed a couple of quiet drinks. We could hear some other customers enjoying a game of pool at the back and just before we left a couple of guys came in to play darts. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, nice quiet music in the background. Early evening on a Tuesday and it was the perfect place for us.

17/11/2024: Lovely and cozy pub in the heart of Wicklow. Having a really tasty pint (for a very reasonable price 5,20€) beside the fireplace is a feeling that can’t be described.

03/01/2025: Was there few days ago. Overpriced, rude staff. Not friendly atmosphere and poor quality food. I won't be back

27/12/2024: Very disappointed given the reputation. Microwaved quiche was rubbery, the pastry tasted as though made with margarine and under salted...cakes were good, though rather heavy.

08/03/2025: Skimpy ass munchbox 12.50€ shouldn’t be able to see the bottom of the box. Prices go up portions go down. Fall from grace

08/03/2025: Terrible portion size, doesn’t even fill the box half way. €12.50 for this is absolute daylight robbery. Not good enough this place used to be great but will not be getting my business.

15/03/2025: Found a lovely Coffee shop Cafe cannot recommend highly enough food excellent the owner was very helpful when we was asking about ireland Coffee in big generous cups give it a try you will love it. Philip Sullivan 1 very happy customer.

02/11/2024: A big order trying a lot. Chips only ok, onion rings poor. Taco fries were good, fish was grand, pizza poor, think the 4.5 rating had me expecting more.

24/02/2025: I won't talk about the restaurant aspect because I haven't tasted the dishes served so I don't know. But we came to drink hot chocolate and cappuccino for a snack, and we took the opportunity to have a little cake. Don't make this mistake! The tiny slice of pie was €4.50, we were shocked at how small it was, plus they defrosted it in the microwave. As for the reception, it can be okay but we couldn't sit on the sea view side because that was reserved for large groups (there was no one seated when we were there). If you can avoid it (at least for the snack), do so.

28/07/2024: Great spot for a shake in Greystones today in the sun. Shake was spot on, nice and friendly service as well despite just one person working and it being a very busy period. Will be back!
