The best restaurants in Wicklow

04/08/2026: We had the pleasure of spending some time in this amazing place during the Bray Air Display. We were able to watch the show and try one of the best fish and chips places around. The fish bar is part of a larger pub, they don't offer takeaway and seating is limited, but the people are so nice that they will invite you over to share a table with them. The service is quick, and the portion size was more than enough for me, not to mention the flavours, which are truly unique!

24/07/2026: (2024) Honestly best fish and chips in a long time. Could be a few more chips. But hey I don't wanna become a fat bloke either. Fish was super delicious. (2026) Ate here a second time. And like the first time fish was just super yummy. And the portion chips was bigger this time. 😍

05/04/2026: Lovely stay had at Murphy’s . We were down for a wedding close by and this hotel was perfect . Basic but clean and comfortable room . Lovely staff and nice friendly bar . We had breakfast included and have to say it was one of the best breakfasts we had in a very long time . It was cooked fresh to order and was of high quality ingredients. The owner came over for a chat when we were leaving and he was a super friendly man who was genuinely interested in us . If we are ever back down that way we will definitely be saying there again . Great price too .

07/09/2026: Literally the best Indian takeaway in Ireland and its not even close

07/09/2026: The overall quality has unfortunately gone down in my experience over the years and the prices have become extortionate. Over €40 for one main with rice, a starter and some broken pieces of poppadoms with dips. If the flavours were as good as previously I’d just put it down to a ridiculously expensive meal for myself but I was disappointed by the quality.

29/03/2026: A rather pleasant place, though primarily functional. I tasted some good dishes, simple in appearance but carefully prepared, designed to produce a particular taste effect.

24/08/2026: Good coffee, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. The staff, from the cashier through to the barista, weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming. Even asking for anything outside the original order seemed like a big effort for them to acknowledge and answer

14/08/2026: Excellent coffee with a few vegan options. Definitely recommended.

23/08/2026: Ordered 2 hotdogs 1 for me and my friend found a white hair in it which is the ladies here who was serving us not worth it sausage tasted odd aswell

21/08/2026: Great pint of Guinness. Very friendly and efficient. Ideal atmosphere to watch a rugby match on the big screens. Don’t think they provide food.

13/05/2026: We were here at the pub and had something to eat and drink. Great selection of different beers. Small menu; we had Jacobsburgers, which were very large and delicious.

12/07/2026: I’m a regular at Enso Pizzeria — every Sunday with my family. The pizza is genuinely authentic, made with top Italian ingredients like San Marzano tomatoes and Caputo 00 flour, and cooked in a fantastic wood-fired oven. For me, it’s the most honest pizza in Ireland — simple, balanced, and done right - the same way all good and genuine Italian pizzas are made. Great quality and excellent value for money. The buffalo wings cooked in the wood-fired oven are also amazing. We love this place and keep coming back every week. 🍕

22/07/2026: Standard Maxol Garage but very welcome when fuel, food and toilets required. We were diverted off the M11 due to roadworks and got good directions from the staff.

15/06/2026: Spent $100 euro in fuel ,wash etc ,went to use vacuum,put $1 euro didn't work ,my wife went into manager , straight away telling her we didn't put money in before even checking , aggressive attitude when he came out telling us we get money back ,we had to put another euro in ,said he would check CCTV,not that hard up for a euro or free vacuum, absolutely terrible customer service made us feel like criminals 😄,use this garage quite a bit ,will never go back !!!

10/09/2026: A must visit when in Ireland! The rhubarb crumble with a scoop of ice cream is absolute bliss. Great coffee, cozy atmosphere, friendly people... Everything you could want or need.

06/09/2026: Located in Enniskerry. A lovely day weather wise when l visited. Seating outside, so Customer's outside availing of the good weather. Seating inside and a good atmosphere. A very busy spot. Lots of choice, and good value. Stepping inside there is more Seating than you would expect. Good location. Child friendly. The Staff were wonderful. Bit hard to find parking.

13/07/2026: The best place in Greystones to have some drinks. Plenty of cocktail options. Great atmosphere and the stuff is always happy to help. Only negative point is that it closes early.

11/08/2026: It was my favourite Lunch spot, now its turned into some cringey Instagram cafe, with the coffee and food now all being cheap machine produced garbage.

09/08/2026: Great little coffee shop in Wicklow town with what must be the best value anywhere - a coffee and a pastry for €4.80 …!!! That’s a crowd pleaser. Lovely owner and staff too. Check it out

19/05/2026: Never again. What a rude male waiter/owner we had. Not only were we ignored the whole time, but he really treated us like dirt. I have never experienced anything like this. We will NEVER come here again.

15/08/2026: Just had a lovely lunch here at this gorgeous cafe. The staff were lovely, the food was delicious and the layout was really nice. Will be back

11/07/2026: Very charming and sweet. Very nice decor and very friendly service. Unfortunately on the street, which is why traffic can be disruptive. You can still work or study well with headphones and music.
