The best restaurants in Wicklow

20/11/2025: Food is very average, and staff is lovely but not well Organised, they are confused with order so a bit dissappointing.

09/05/2026: A fantastic pub/restaurant i have used for formal occassions or a social drink.Horans have consistently produced top quality food and drink, be it for hiring the venue for a Baptism Party, a family meal or social drinks of a weekend.Horans provides you with the option of great pub grub, with a wide range of food, or the option of The Base restaurant. With a Stone Pizza Oven, there is a seperate Pizza menu or a wide selection of mains from steak, fish, chicken and day specials. A Popular side bar for just a drink, you can catch all the sport throughout Horans, with your choice of surrounding. The staff are always accommodating and do their best to meet your needs, with Premier League, Rugby, GAA, Horse Racing, and fantastic food to enjoy during the match od with friends. As for entertainment, there is live music every Saturday night and often other events during the week. I Have never used the accommodation but i often see people arriving for rooms they have booked, as they sightsee around Wicklow or for local weddings etc. A great local pub, which does its best to meet your every need!

12/09/2025: First time calling to this restaurant and I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised, the staff were really friendly and very good fun, put me in good humour. The coffee I had was possibly the best coffee I've ever had. The breakfast was amazing and kept me going for the day. If your in the area, give this place a try, you won't be disappointed

11/04/2026: Whenever I’m in Bray, this is where I head for a meal. The only downside was a specific visit where the staff were surprisingly short with my dad. He took it in stride, joking that it was just part of the local charm, but the locals sitting beside us were quick to tell us that such behavior isn't normal for Ireland. Aside from that one-off encounter, I still highly recommend this spot.

05/04/2026: It's exactly what you're looking for: friendly, cost, warm, great food, family and dog friendly and just makes for a perfect meal and place to chill while exploring the city. A must go!

13/10/2025: Nice local. Actually has a couple of interesting beers on draught (Larkin 4% IPA was particularly nice) A friendly unpretentious place.

26/09/2025: I had booked my sisters 21st surprise birthday party. I can say from the day I booked it we were made so welcome to the pub. Thanks to the boss and the staff for the best night. The function room and venue was amazing and ideal for us. Great for christening party etc. would highly recommend. Couldn’t Thank yous enough.
