24/02/2025: I won't talk about the restaurant aspect because I haven't tasted the dishes served so I don't know.
But we came to drink hot chocolate and cappuccino for a snack, and we took the opportunity to have a little cake.
Don't make this mistake! The tiny slice of pie was €4.50, we were shocked at how small it was, plus they defrosted it in the microwave.
As for the reception, it can be okay but we couldn't sit on the sea view side because that was reserved for large groups (there was no one seated when we were there).
If you can avoid it (at least for the snack), do so.

17/03/2025: St Patrick's day here wasn't great. No music, when I asked would there be some irish music on, they said with families and serving food they couldn't do music.
The parade was over at 4.30pm , families came in and the pub wà deserted by 6pm. So we all went home. No atmosphere
11/03/2025: We had a sunday roast in here i wasnt gone on the roast beef and mash i prefer my meat well done but my partner loved it very friendly staff and a handy location

I regret that I ordered food, I am very close to you, you could have walked 10 times during this time.My pizza never arrived.Look at the screenshot of when I placed the order and how long I waited for it, even though I still don't have it.

17/03/2025: Got the large Irish breakfast. Rashers crispy amd tasted gorgeous. Perfectly done eggs, pudding good, hash brown could have been cooked a tad bit longer though.... sausages not great, they're more like dinner sausages or the sausage used in a chipper before it's battered. Overall service and staff good. Prices fair not overpriced.
03/03/2025: Great place for a breakfast, brunch with good variety of food. Staff are very welcome and the food was delicious definitely will come back again soon.

30/06/2024: The place is quite good, the pizzas are a little expensive for the size, but they taste good. They attended to us in Spanish despite being in Ireland, the service was very good. The atmosphere is the best of all, to be with friends it is phenomenal; They have ludo and two XXL sized jengas, very fun.

Wonderful service in bar, beautiful cocktails but food in Strawberry tree wasn’t for me, my husband had the duck starter and loved it, fish fab, lamb overcooked and I’m disappointed. My husband Cooks better food, not a lie.
28/10/2024: Amazing food from start to finish .. in fact I ran out of adjectives to say how good this place was after the main course .. and desert was still to come .. opening times are from about 6-30 to 9.30 so plan to get there early ..
Staff are so good you would take them home with you ..

Beautiful choice on the menu.
Scrambled eggs, salmon,french toast, breakfast baps to mention a few.
Selection of coffees. Tea also available.
Lots of people coming and going. Parking available and also wheelchair accessible.
Great value.
Call into the shop. Great selection of stock.
There is also a reduction in some items at the moment. Good value.
Well worth a visit.

05/03/2025: We were looking for The Fern House cafe when we stumbled across this cafe located inside the store. Ordered pancakes, french toast and the Avoca breakfast. Everything was delicious! The portions were big. We honestly could have split a plate and still would have had plenty. Flower shop right in front of the entrance. Beautiful arrangements and the store had everything from wines and food to skin care and jewelry. You will find Amazing gifts for everyone!
04/03/2025: The catering area is self-service. You can buy anything. From food to textiles to porcelain, candles, etc.
Quite expensive but nice.

27/09/2024: We stopped here on our way to Donegal. A bit off the main road, it's behind the craft artists area, but well worth the stop. Great sandwiches and coffee, and we got free soup which was amazing.
10/09/2024: I was there twice on very different trips.
Once with my wife during winter on a road trip and again with a large group of cyclists on a charity cycle across the wild atlant way. Both times the food was excellent, service was super nice and quick and I had a great time. Highly recommended.

26/02/2025: Amazing pizzas - by far the best we’ve tasted in a long time. We tried the Marinara & the Pepperoni and both were delicious as were the dips. The garlic bread garnished with a touch of rosemary is to die for. Service was very fast and the upstairs seating area was fabulous & warm on a cold wet evening. Great fun place to try. Will be back.
