The best restaurants in Wicklow

11/08/2026: Good service and coffee but The chicken Caesar wrap had little or no chicken in it unfortunately.

01/08/2026: i’ve loved this cafe for a very long time, came today for 2 full irish breakfasts and 2 cappuccino’s. literally unreal, one of the nicest fry’s i’ve had in a longggg time, came out super quickly and staff are so lovely. i can’t recommend this place more

28/08/2026: Lovey harbour restaurant right across the Greystones marina. Parking lot at the marina. The restaurant is spacious and offers indoors and outdoors seating. Very lovely and friendly waiting staff and good food. Medium price point.

26/08/2026: Been here plenty of times and often recommend to people as the food is very good. But unfortunately feel the need to make this review as the last 3 times the glasses have been dirty and the pints poor quality, particularly Heineken and Coors. The overwhelming reason for making the review as I visited today for lunch the staff left a lot to be desired (presumably because of an over reliance on cheap teenage summer staff). While carrying two pints to their beer garden a young female member of the floor staff with glasses watched me struggle to open the heavy doors while she attended to the cutlery station that's two feet away from the door and then laughed as I spilled one pint while I struggled with the door and avoided eye contact while I used blue roll to attempt to dry my clothing. Great experience.

12/07/2026: A very nice premises located in the centre of Greystones. Great location to other businesses eg Coffee shops, Restaurants, Jewellers,Clothes Shops,Sports shop, Boots Pharmacy and Sam McCauleys,Post Office to mention a few. Close to local train station and the beach. Very well stocked. From great produce eg fresh fruit and veg. A meat counter with a wonderful selection and staff eager to help and offer their advice. A good selection of breads and cakes. Other great choices in store, and often have great weekly bargains. Off licence. Great parking. Paid parking. Wheelchair accessible.

23/07/2026: The three-course meal was fantastic. You can choose from the menu for each course, and all at really fair prices. The service is super friendly, very quick, and patient, even if you, as a tourist, don't quite understand the language right away. For us, the best part of all was that for the first time in a week and a half in Ireland, we were allowed to eat in a restaurant with our dog!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

23/07/2026: The food here was very good and reasonably priced. You can put together your own three-course meal. All of this for €22, which I think is very good value for Irish standards. What was also very important to us was that it was the first restaurant where we could eat inside with our dog. Up until now, this had only been possible outside here in the south of Ireland. There were comfortable armchairs, air conditioning, and incredibly attentive and friendly staff. Since we're here for a few more days, we'll definitely go back.

10/08/2026: It's grand. Good selection of delicious food. The staff are a bit disinterested and the prices are a bit higher than they should be but overall it's grand.

06/08/2026: Ok, expensive for a poorly filled roll, staff nice, wont recomend here general eating area soulless, feel of uncleanliness. Unfortunately nearly all of the salads have spring onions in them,a cheap filler that makes it impossible to chose onion free salad and adversely affects the taste of all.

09/08/2026: Hi love this cafe and the staff and everyone is lovely. Unfortunately I have to write to make sure to tell you guys that the dishes and glassware really smelt of sort of damp mouldy smell from the washing or dishwasher . Please look at cleaning or detoxing the dishwasher as the plates and everything the smell really put me off my food. Everything else is perfect though. !!

03/08/2026: Vick's is the best breakfast place in Greystones. Menu is very simple, you can be sure is always fresh and delicious. I'm recommend that place in 100%. The best traditional Irish breakfast I had in Ireland.

04/07/2026: OMG Just ordered food from here. Everything was fab. Nicest chicken sprimg onion and ginger dish I have had in long time. Loads of chicken and plenty of fresh veg and ginger. Really pleased. Delivery was very quick and driver so polite. 5 stars from me. Will be calling again

24/08/2026: Confusing and slow service. Unfair price for the amount of food. The place is beautiful, but it lacks some identity. It doesn't justify the price x quality x quantity. The dishes came wrong and after they realized it, they removed them from my table and took them to another!?!? How is that possible... Didn't they take them back to the kitchen to prepare for another table? The gnocchi dish was served with very few gnocchi.

09/08/2026: I do not normally write reviews but I give this one star in the hope management may eventually become more accomodating for people with allergies. I have eaten in many places with my 5 yr old daughter who has allergies and the majority although they cannot guarantee cross contamination are very helpful and make an effort to reduce the risk. Acoca Fern House Cafe is one of the least accommodating places, in the end we left without ordering. Chef and manager seemed very inconvenienced to be dealing with someone with an allergy and were not interested. At their price point you would expect more professional service.
