30/12/2025: Woman behind the counter refused to serve us and was very rude. Claimed they were too busy to serve us, despite half of their tables being empty. Terrible customer service. AVOID AT ALL COST!

14/12/2025: A destination spot. Great food in a beautiful setting. And tip if you use Google maps its down the lane way beside the Cartoon inn

10/01/2026: We had a steak meal steak onions and the 4 small mushrooms chips were tasteless appalling wouldn’t go back there again PS plate swimming in oil

01/10/2025: Very nice pub and hotel, very welcoming, a little noisy at the start of the evening but it's a pub, so it's all normal and that didn't cause us any problems.

25/08/2025: Great cafe, great service, and magnificent vegan sausage rolls! They offer ice for water, perfect for hot days like today (writing this in late summer) Vick is a bit mad but we like that. Join the Vick's cult today 😆 I would also like to mention that it is called Vick's now, not Gourmet Greystones. and it has since 2024. You can see it on the sign and the picture I took a couple of months ago as of when I'm writing this that you can see in the "Photos" tab. Myself and a few others including Vick himself, have suggested an edit to change the name on maps to Vick's, but to no avail. Get on it, Google!

27/12/2025: Spend 84 euro on food for family get together was missing a kebab tray . Didn't get much satisfaction when rang back.

03/11/2025: I don't even know where to start. I'm an actor and the production company booked this "hotel" for me for a few days. I had really early morning starts for work and got back late in the evenings. I just needed a place to rest at night . When I first rang them, the woman was very rude on the phone. That should have told me everything I needed to know about the place but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she's busy and stressed and that's why she was rude. After filming all day I would just want to eat and sleep (not socialize, or eat out) . Late finish times usually means take away food would be the easiest option however this 'hotel' does not allow you to have take away food. They played really really loud music, they could have turned it down a bit . A man and a guitar how loud can it be???? The sound was awful on my room. I got zero sleep. And somehow it went on from 9:30 pm until 1:30am. When I rang them to complain (I really needed sleep) I was having bad chest pains and thought I was gonna have a heart attack) the guy on the phone tells me " we have trad night, we advertise this everywhere, so why would you book this place to stay in?" This were his exact words. I told him I didn't book it, the company booked it. He was so rude. As well as the woman . I often stay away for work but I've never never experienced such bad manners. They don't care about their guests staying in the accommodations. On fact they're not accommodating at all. I could go on about this but I won't. Eventually I found the most peaceful b&b called the meetings bnb. It was absolute paradise. The staff took such good care of me. Please check this place out before booking at jacobs well. The meetings is surrounded by trees and the two rivers meet. It's tranquil but most importantly the staff is actually KIND , that's all I needed. I know if Jacobs well responds to this it will be the same defensive narci responses. Fyi booking.com did not advertise loud music . I tried sleeping in the shower, hoping it would drown out the noise some what with the fan but it didn't at all. Because the speakers were insanely loud Oof it was an awful awful experience. Might as well save money and sleep in the car. Yes I did! People like this really shouldn't be in business. If you wanna relax and eat what you want go somewhere else. A response to this narcissist, and defensive owner- I called only twice ( only to make payment because you told me it had to be don't over the phone. Absolutely not a single person had let me know that this room was over the bar. The fact that you still come on here to lie shows how absolutely awful you people are. I actually feel sorry to the people that have to deal with you on a daily basis.

12/11/2025: I love the Coffee Shop as it is the nearest thing to an English cafe i can find in Ireland. I lived in England for most of my life and love sitting beside the mullion window in the Coffee Shop. Thankfully this cafe has now reopened after a 3 month closure following a fire in the kitchen. It is back to business as usual. The food as always is very good quality, the service efficient and the new staff very nice. I am so pleased to see this lovely cafe open again

20/10/2025: Got a late-night chicken burger just 5 minutes before closing, and the staff couldn’t have been more polite! The burger was absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and not greasy at all. Definitely recommend this place!

07/09/2025: We went to Eddie Rockets for lunch. I love the food in Eddie Rockets. It's always fresh and tasty. I had kitchen Sink Nachos and a Chocolate malt Milkshake. My son had a Classic Burger and chips meal with a drink. He also got dessert which was a Donut N' Ice-Cream. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean and so were the toilets. We will be back.

08/07/2025: We came across Kitchen 28/Andrew Holmes catering a few years ago and have used them on a number of occasions to cater for family events and parties. We find them great to deal with, they are really quick to respond to any queries and are very helpful. We have ordered varying dishes over the years from sandwich platters to full hot meals and the food is always amazing! It’s very reasonably priced and the portions are very generous.

16/05/2025: Divine toasted sandwiches with the tastiest freshest ingredients. Lovely friendly staff.

14/12/2025: Service is the pits. Was sat down for 20 mins and totally ignored - no eye contact nothing. Had to ask for menus. Ok - maybe they didn't see us? But then we were still ignored another 10 mins. Place wasn't that busy for a Sunday morning. We just left in the end after 30 mins.

03/01/2026: Parking on site. Nice cosy, quiet pub. Had soup and stew sat at the bar, very delicious food with reasonable prices and great service from the barman. Definitely coming back.

03/12/2025: Every time is the same. Lovely food, lovely people and relaxed and homely atmosphere. We always say outside with my dog and he is always grateful for his little bit of breakfast and tea. We always have a breakfast and its always the same level of quality and presentation. Honestly cannot say anything bad about the experience at both locations.

26/07/2025: A great place for coffee and small bites like cookies, cakes and others. They also have brilliant ham and cheese toasties, which are not easily seen in the menu, but are delicious. There's plenty of outdoor sitting in the back, which is especially good when the weather is nice. The staff are fantastic, which is one of the most important aspects. They really go out of their way to make make things better, and that shows.

16/07/2025: Questionable to drink hot beverages out of old plastic cups. Hot chocolate way too sugary.
