The best restaurants in Wicklow

11/07/2026: One of the stops that Wild Wicklow tours make. Part coffee/cafe and specialty store. Outdoor lawn seating and clean bathrooms. Beautiful flower shop too. But the best part is the cafe. Probably the best scone I've ever had - more of a fluffy biscuit vs hard muffin - it's excellent. Also in the parking lot is a giant Sequoia tree - didn't know that they could grow in Ireland

19/05/2026: Never again. What a rude male waiter/owner we had. Not only were we ignored the whole time, but he really treated us like dirt. I have never experienced anything like this. We will NEVER come here again.

23/07/2026: The food here was very good and reasonably priced. You can put together your own three-course meal. All of this for €22, which I think is very good value for Irish standards. What was also very important to us was that it was the first restaurant where we could eat inside with our dog. Up until now, this had only been possible outside here in the south of Ireland. There were comfortable armchairs, air conditioning, and incredibly attentive and friendly staff. Since we're here for a few more days, we'll definitely go back.

23/07/2026: The three-course meal was fantastic. You can choose from the menu for each course, and all at really fair prices. The service is super friendly, very quick, and patient, even if you, as a tourist, don't quite understand the language right away. For us, the best part of all was that for the first time in a week and a half in Ireland, we were allowed to eat in a restaurant with our dog!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

04/07/2026: OMG Just ordered food from here. Everything was fab. Nicest chicken sprimg onion and ginger dish I have had in long time. Loads of chicken and plenty of fresh veg and ginger. Really pleased. Delivery was very quick and driver so polite. 5 stars from me. Will be calling again

08/06/2026: Have been here many times, but not since the new people took it over. Decided to call in. On entering nothing has changed. So got the same, usual welcoming feeling. A great atmosphere. In the past have seen people watching sports on TV, didn't notice this time, which in one way was a bit easier to talk. Big premises. Very deceiving from the road, much bigger inside. Anyway the food is beautiful still the same great choices. Staff very efficient. Parking on the road. We still haven't managed to stay here yet so will have to sometime in the future, so look forward to that. Good value. Call in you won't be disappointed.

11/07/2026: Can see why this is a popular spot! A great selection of savory and sweet, with vegans considered as well. The focaccia sandwich was crunchy and light, hit the spot exactly. Adore all the cakes are small rounds, no messiness of a slice of cake. The Guinness cake was divine though a little dry (doesn't matter when the bitter flavour perfectly cuts the sweetness). The matcha was fine, perhaps too much milk for the amount of matcha used as the flavour was weak - I like a punch of earth in my matcha! That said, my next visit to Wicklow Town will most certainly include another visit here to try more food.

27/04/2026: For months, been ordering their excellent takeaway, this time we sat down and we're so impressed by the quality of their dishes, the menu was extensive with Singapore noodles with prawns , salt and pepper shrimp and the steak and mushrooms in oyster sauce being supremely delicious. Staff are all so attentive and proud of kitchen's dishes. Must admit to truly enjoying the Tsing Tao beer after missing it for years.
