20/05/2025: Went with the intention of having dinner unfortunately they wouldn't serve on their terrace. Food it's usually good, no pets allowed in the restaurant. Several staff members saw us waiting on the terrace but couldn't be bothered to attend us.

12/04/2025: Excellent friendly staff so helpful and inviting, food was good but so expensive €25 for fish and chips come on it's not a seaside town (freshly caught fish) portions very small I still felt hungry leaving,if they had a food menu display and prices outside the hotel we would have walked away.

19/04/2025: I called in here for a coffee today after catching it in the corner of my eye while parking my car and I was so pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere in the place was lovely and light, everything was spotless and fresh. I used the toilet, got an americano, a bar of chocolate and left feeling great. The staff were all so friendly and happy, and only for I’d just eaten I would have got one of the beautiful sandwiches that were being made up! A hidden gem for sure.

24/04/2025: Bring Back Katie! Used to love coming here, but it’s just not the same since Katie left. She brought a bit of life and personality to the place, and now it honestly feels like it’s gone downhill. Service isn’t what it used to be, vibe is off… Bring her back and fix the chaos!

01/11/2024: Small pub, but super cozy. We sat at the little tables outside where we could calmly drink our pints. The very friendly waiter suggested us a beer and, in my opinion, we are better than Guiness. A good place to have a drink.

11/05/2025: Arrived at prebooked time of 1.30pm. We were shown to a table for two straight away. Waited 10 minutes to order drinks, another 10 minutes for them to arrive. ANOTHE 10 minutes for our food order to be taken. 25 minutes for that to arrive. 55 minutes from arrival to food. My partner had the battered code. The batter was thin, crispy around the edges and soft overall. Tasted like fish mush. Her chips had been reheated and were next to inedible. My Creamy Chicken curry (as advertised on the menu) came half and half with toom much thin watery curry sauce, some large chunks of carrot and very chewy chunks of chicken. Judging by the portion of food compared the sauce it looked like a child's portion. The curry was like a watered down curry you'd probably make better at home and completely tasteless We complained twice to two different waitresses, but to no avail. When paying i expected an intervention from a manager but that didn't happen. Paid €60 for two drinke, a coffee (The only nice part of the experience) and two main courses which we left mostly uneaten. Conclusion; very poor customer service and overpriced poor quality food and drink.

09/05/2025: We got some takeaway food from here yesterday & it was absolutely delicious. Really good variety on the menu and reasonable prices. Staff were so friendly and welcoming on arrival, will defo be back for another visit!

06/05/2025: The menu was not that varied . They did not allow an adult gougons and chips . So ordered the ham toastie with chips . The toastie was cooked ham which did not specify (my teenager would not eat this ) . The chips were a tiny cup full . I ordered the pasta which was not great . It was like warm and the bowl was small for the price . Garlic bread along side it may have been nice . We asked for a Diet Coke and they had none even though it was a functioning bar .
