16/03/2025: We love eating here and always visit when in Lanzarote. No matter how busy it is, and it was really busy this time, the service was quick, efficient and the food came out quickly. The portions are a good size and we shared a rice and noodles between 3 people along with main courses each. Would recommend if you're in the mood for some good Asian food.

Sit outside and you have a beautiful view of the ocean, it's very clean inside & the toilets are spotless. We paid €43 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 sides & 2 waters.

17/03/2025: This review is for the Walker's Cafe. The food is average, the baguettes and wraps were very bland. Very disappointing that there were no options at all for one of our group who is gluten free, not even a pre-packaged cake or crisps. The service was poor; there was no clear queue for ordering food and when sitting in there is no system for noting which table we were sitting at. It was a busy day (St Patrick's) but there needs to be some sort of numbering system. Half of the food was delivered within 10 minutes, the rest had to wait longer, and the others were finished their food before it arrived. We also had to ask twice for a coffee that didn't show up and there was no milk with it. We will be unlikely to visit again unfortunately, despite the beautiful location.

23/02/2025: Firstly, this is a review on the pub only. I recommend the owner split the accommodation and restaurant for accurate reviews. Food was really good. I thought my schnitzel was really flavourful and well presented. My wife enjoyed her cod. I will say, it's a tad expensive for what you get, and portion sizes might be slightly under what you get in other pubs. I've seen many reviews comment on good service, but I'd describe mine as adequate (i found myself having to flag staff down for everthing). Also need to mention that this establishment has a discretionary 12.5% added to all bills regardless of party size, since that's also fairly uncommon in Ireland. And another thing with soft drinks, i got a coke zero and it was 200ml (i feel like that's info you might need since prices don't vary much in restaurants but you might get any size drink

22/02/2025: Super nice restaurant, worth a stop if you are in the area. The space looks like it’s been recently renovated and has a charming barn/ country home feel. The food was delicious and the menu very interesting and varied.

20/01/2025: One of my favourite places to visit in Wicklow, whether just to stop in for a stroll around the charming gardens and have a pot of tea and a warm, freshly baked scone with jam, butter, and cream, or have a celebratory family luncheon. A place of immense atmosphere that brings you to another time, it is like a portal to a world that barely exists anymore, with fantastic, kind, and sometimes wonderfully comic staff that could be straight out of a Flann O'Brien novel... it's no wonder this place attracts writers and painters and artists of all kinds who use the rooms and grounds for peace, good conversation, and inspiration. The food is delicious and they grow many of the ingredients they use on their land. Visit Hunter's to have an experience you are unlikely to receive in any other modern, fashionable Irish destination hotel or resort. A truly one of a kind place, untouched by time. Long may it be so.

11/03/2025: Ordered through Uber Eats at 6:30, waited for up to an hour and a half for delivery but nobody showed up. Tried contacting the restaurant, immediately put to voicemail, phone number didn’t even go to The Curry Leaf it went to restaurant the Smokin Goat. Talked to their staff who said they’d tell them to contact me but didn’t. Horrible service, had to get through to Uber to get my refund. Update: Food ended up being delivered after 3 hours and when refund had been received, we gave the food back to the rude driver who was clearly not understanding that nobody would wait 3 hours for a takeaway dinner

03/03/2025: Behind a pub, below a hotel, by the looks of it, you’d be skeptical to try, but do!! Their Raj Kachori and Sev Puri were on point. Just like home, and as an Indian, I won’t say that easily. I was surprised by the taste and presentation. Their Bhindi masala was delish too! Would love to try more dishes there.

28/02/2025: The food is lovely, curries are very tasty nicest food in the town. But having been there numerous times the service is poor. Waiting ages to order then drinks don't arrive, having to remind staff of items you ordered. Such a pity.
