30/09/2024: Grabbed a flat white for the road and it was perfectly made and delicious. Recommended.

18/09/2024: A very nice, quiet place for a little break. :) We had a frappé and a matcha latte and two fresh, delicious scones with butter, cream and jam. The scones are baked fresh every day.

05/11/2024: We got married in the nearby Dorlindon forest and then had lunch here, a welcoming place, excellent food, we never got up but unfortunately they needed the table, it's often a very crowded place.

05/11/2024: Came here for a family dinner last week. We were seated in the back alone despite there being a table in the front. Waitress wasn’t the most friendly and didn’t create a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered three pizzas. As the first two were brought out we heard a plate smash and joked amongst ourselves that it was the last pizza - turns out it was. This is no problem, mistakes are made, however we were not told that this had happened and were left waiting for another ten minutes almost in disbelief as no one came to update us that this had happened. We were forced to share the two pizzas between three of us and by the time the third pizza finally arrived one of the party had finished their meal. Even when the pizza was brought out there was no apology or even an explanation (despite it being very obvious as to what happened). Given all of this, we assumed that any restaurant concerned with good customer experience would have taken this item off of the bill or offered a free desert. This wasn’t the case. Left feeling very disappointed and certainty wouldn’t return.

10/09/2024: Our new go-to spot for fish and chips. Delivery was guick. The portions were huge, we ordered 3 lots of cod and chips for 4 people. 2 portions would have been plenty, and we couldn't t eat it all.As far as quality, it was top notch. The cod was huge and had a thin batter and wasn't greasy. The chips were fine. All in all a tasty meal.

09/11/2024: Avoid at all costs, worst place i’ve ever been to, 1 vodka and redbull and I am thrown outside for being too drunk AFTER being let in, the room was paid for and I am not even allowed to have a place to sleep, I showed them my credit card history so they can see how much I drank and I am being told I am escalating, I need to go home, what a joke, no refund or any compensation for the trouble, they are happy to take your money and that’s where it ends

31/07/2024: I would definitely recommend a visit to The Gin Mill. Very clean... lots of tv screens if you like sport or current affairs. But the real attraction is the staff behind the bar.... they were very nice and obliging. Top class.

07/11/2024: We had such a good time at The Good Life a couple of weeks ago and it was so amazing that none of us even thought of our phones so unfortunately I don’t have photos of the gorgeous space and absolutely delish food that was beautifully presented and placed. The waitress knew her wines and really was so helpful making sure we had what we needed. Service was excellent. I can’t say this about many places so I had to write a review because a place like this deserves if! We all said we felt like we had stepped into special little hub in France where the locals go! Book in advance as it’s getting popular but sometimes you might get lucky with a cancellation. You won’t be disappointed.

02/11/2024: Go here a good bit for coffee and have been into their wine nights which are great to have in the town. Always friendly staff.

29/10/2024: Almost everything comes from freezer or cans. Pizza slices like Margherita made and left on the side for hours, ready to be used for next customer so no fresh at all!! Also pizza mistakes reheated and reused, ready to go. Caprese salad is not even close to a caprese, super cheap Mozzarella and a disgusting tomatoes on a broken plate. Kitchen was full on dirty and smelly kitchen towels probably have been used inside the kitchen for year!!!!!! Almost everything is frozen or tinned food. The pieces of Margherita (pizza slices) are always prepared first, and ready to be used at the moment but perhaps they have been prepared hours before, therefore not fresh!! Many times the wrong pizzas are reheated and reused, ready to be served. Caprese is not even a distant relative, super cheap Mozzarella and a disgusting tomato on a broken plate. The kitchen is always full of dirty and smelly kitchen rags, probably used in the kitchen for years!!
