The Coffee Shop

12/11/2025: I love the Coffee Shop as it is the nearest thing to an English cafe i can find in Ireland. I lived in England for most of my life and love sitting beside the mullion window in the Coffee Shop. Thankfully this cafe has now reopened after a 3 month closure following a fire in the kitchen. It is back to business as usual. The food as always is very good quality, the service efficient and the new staff very nice. I am so pleased to see this lovely cafe open again

12/04/2026: Outrageous prices, food quality has gone down hill massively. Quite noticeable the amount of corners being cut.
22 euro for a burger! 11 euro for a kids pancake
Flat white very watery, pidgin grill was bland, avocado was fluffed out compared to the older high standard.
This was a five star review but after my last couple of visits I can no longer stand over that and had to change it.

The Grain Store at Killruddery
04/01/2026: We got the set menu in November 2025 and it was such a treat. The food & service were both top class and the interior was beautiful. I would 100% recommend it for most sized groups & would love to return.
07/12/2025: Had a fab lunch at The Grain Store yesterday and oh my god the food was incredible!!! Two of us shared four small plates which was plenty and we shared a delicious baked cheesecake and a couple of Baileys coffees . We got to sit by the big open fire and spent a few hours chilling. Excellent service and value for money. Will defo be back 🥰

10/03/2026: Ate here with my family last week and loved it. We made a last minute decision to have family meal out on a Friday night; no reservation, no problem! The place was quiet at 7pm, only a handful of tables occupied. Lovely ambience, with jazz playing softly and a friendly welcome. We had prawns and calamari to start, rigatoni Bolognese, Margarita and calabrese pizza. Simple Italian food done right and served by Italians! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cozy sitting area with warm autumn sun and lively view out the windows.

12/10/2025: Went for family meal at Phil’s. Staff super friendly warm and very accommodating! Portions were massive and very tasty! Kitchen had closed but they brought out a little token to celebrate a family members birthday!! Lovely atmosphere and chilled vibes. Would recommend to all!
