11/08/2025: Excellent food, lovely service (the owner, when she found out I was vegetarian, gifted me a bottle of vegan oyster sauce for me to try out at home) and beautiful view of the river as well. It was our first time in Arklow and we'll definitely be eating here next time we visit.

19/10/2025: We are new Wicklow residents, this was our first time at Sparrows Nest and we were not disappointed. Excellent food, including Lamb Shank, which was tender and delicious and light and tasty tempura fish accompanied by a lovely French Rose. Our waitress, Alex, was extremely welcoming, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was busy, the atmosphere was warm and pleasant with a great buzz, but the front of house and kitchen staff were on the ball.
We will definitely be back!

We thought that this location was a counter as opposed to their production unit.
No trouble whatsoever though and we were greeted by a wonderful staff member (so sorry we didnt catch her name).
She noticed I was pregnant and immediately grabbed a chair for me to sit whilst she got the slices boxed up. It was so kind and appreciated!. Such a fabulous lady!.
The cheesecake was 10/10 absolutely amazing!!! Craving was 100% satisfied π will definitely be ordering in the future ! Thanks so much!

23/10/2025: I was at Hyde for an informal dinner with my friend, the manager Rebeca was impeccable and introduced me to an exclusive drink, the food was perfect and in the end I had 3 drinks haha ββand I left feeling very satisfied, a great atmosphere to relax with friends
