The best restaurants in Wicklow

14/06/2026: Was only in the restaurant. But excellent.

14/06/2026: We had a lunch with the in-laws in the upstairs rooms and it was the best service we've experienced anywhere in a long time. From the minute we arrived the staff was very attentive and friendly, we were grateful for the sea view table. We were looked after several different waiters and the whole team seemed well organised and we were checked on often, water was refilled frequently and the food arrived fast. Everything went smooth and the food was delicious and well presented. The perfect Sunday lunch for an early Father's day for my father in law. Thank you Martello restaurant! We'll be back soon hopefully!

15/07/2026: Great non dairy Mango and Berry. So many traditional flavors and they let you mix and mash. A cup is a Chub:) Tip: Super hot inside. Even though the street is sunny, sit at a table for the great ocean breeze.

14/07/2026: Lovely ice cream and crepes but the service is woeful.

17/05/2026: Went on a Sunday to do the mill tour. Web site stated it was open but when we got there they didn't do walk ins for the mill tour and we had to book however, they do not have tour guides working on a Sunday. Had a look at the shop but very pricey and not everything was made at the mill or even Ireland some things were made in Italy and even China.

17/05/2026: Was recommended the tour on our first night in Ireland. Did not anticipate wanting to go on a Mill tour on a long weekend away but so glad we went! Alan gave the tour and he was very knowledgeable and insightful and a really great host. So much history and a truly fascinating story. Got to see the old looms in action and in the shop there were some amazing pieces all produced there. Nice cafe there too and lovely Red Kite walk just up the road. Highly recommend

08/07/2026: We had wonderful tapas dishes last night. I highly recommend the black pudding/chorizo and chick pea dish. The pate was delicious. All accompanied by a dry white Albarino wine. Great service from Mar who looked after us so well. She made very good recommendations on breads for our prawns and extra for the pate. We will be back.

11/08/2026: This is real food! Generous, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented dishes. One small drawback, however: too many dishes with an extra charge on a two-course menu priced at €42. Efficient and friendly service, attractive contemporary decor.

09/08/2026: A lovely meal at the very popular Blue restaurant. Interesting choice of starters and mains with enough variety for everyone. We enjoyed our shared starter of Goat cheese bruschetta bursting with flavour and interesting fish mains. A glass of bubbles and a jug of homemade lemonade and we were all set. Windows wide open on a lovely summers evening and the place was hopping, which did bring up the noise a bit. Hats off to all the serving team - they were on the ball all evening.

16/07/2026: France Spain game was starting so had to stop for Ashford to watch the game. AI recommended this place. Was good place to watch the game and have a pint before we continuing the journey. No food here btw. Not sure if new thing as earlier reviews showed some meals.

04/07/2026: The food here is super. Delicious, good portions and the atmosphere is great. Mú sister and mum always get the chowder and I get the wings.

23/06/2026: Great service, they treated me really well. The pastries are delicious and the sourdough bread is amazing. Perfect place for refueling after a bike ride! Note that there is a parking lot at the back although it fills quickly in the morning
