11/10/2025: The Taste of Italy was a delightful and delicious surprise. I had the pistachio croissant and my husband had the chocolate croissant. We kick ourselves for not taking some to-go and for not tasting the organic apple pie. Since we were headed out of town, we missed their lunch special, but I'm certain it's fabulous.
The hosts were warm and friendly.
Highly recommend!
04/10/2025: This Italian has just replaced my favourite Italian restaurant in London. Might not be local but worth travelling for.

20/09/2025: Great folks, great coffee. Also had the lotus cinnamon roll. It was fresh and truly out of the world. The food is prepared fresh in their own kitchen and sells out fast.

03/02/2026: The food goes from good to decent depending on what you order. In general, this is a very warm / cozy pub with great atmosphere and live music on weekends. The staff are also polite and friendly.

29/11/2025: Norma cooking is amazing, all homemade, the staff are wonderful and knew what dresses and styles would suit the ladies. This is our second time here and it is an amazing experience stepping back in time. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone....they even top hats and Darcy attire for the guys.

27/02/2026: Beautiful spot - delighted with the new look. Café far far too expensive for what is being served. A baked potato with cheese and coleslaw cost a lady €30!! She had to return it as it was served cold! But you garden varieties and implements and decoration but don’t eat here.
Food isn’t very tasty either - needs an uplift of flavour and not so high dependence on starch like potatoes and rice. Cmon now Arboretum you’ve been there a while and still no change to the cafe.

Good selection of pizzas, pastas and mains.
All excellent, thin wood fired pizzas, pastas all home made by the look and taste with great flavours and goood size. The linguine and prawns in particular was excellent.
Good wine list of a large selection of beers and craft from the bar.
The service was really excellent and in a nice setting.
Really highly recommended.

06/01/2026: This place has to be one of the nicest meals I have ever eaten, their food is beyond delicious. The service leaves a lot to be desired- you won’t get a drink without approaching the bar yourself. Same if you want to order food, get the bill etc. you always have to go and find a member of staff. But other than that, they are very polite and friendly, so it’s not that big of a problem. Definitely worth the delicious food. Also love the variety on the menu.

19/10/2025: Wasn't impressed ice-cream was too sugary and very little flavour otherwise.
1x1 scoop cone and 1 x2 scoop cone was 12.50. I wouldn't have minded paying that if it was good quality but it wasn't

19/01/2026: Very good coffee ☕ the pastries are also a treat, the Italians here are super friendly, just like the ones in Milan (hahahaha, it's an inside joke with them) haha. But very good service, friendly, exquisite coffee and pastries, and a super warm atmosphere in Bray, where you get used to having coffee around six in the afternoon. In Ireland, usually four or three in the afternoon, there aren't any cafes hahaha, so it's much appreciated 😊😊😁
