18/07/2024: We have been visiting this cafe every day, and it never disappoints! The service is always top-notch, and Daniele is simply amazing. He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. His pizzas and focaccia are absolutely delicious - some of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and excellent service! They are open on Monday Bank Holidays.

11/11/2024: Fantastic service, you are made to feel so welcome. Coffee is very good (triple espresso) but having it served in a cup with a smile is a rarer treat nowadays

28/10/2024: I had my first Irish Guinness on tap at West Wicklow House. We have it on tap in the states but it doesn’t compare to Ireland. The food was absolutely delicious, so we ate here multiple times while in Blessington. Great service and atmosphere, can’t wait to visit again!

01/10/2024: Travelling up from Waterford to Dublin and stopped off in Wicklow and liked the look of this place as a local small town cafe with freshly prepared food. It was full so was going to sit out but as ordering a table came free. Three of us had baguettes , sandwich and drinks at came to just over 20 euro. The food was lovely and generous helpings added to which we had a very warm welcome Thank you

03/11/2024: In my mind Ireland has lost so many things of beauty over the decades, but Hunters hotel has not changed since my first visit over 50 years ago. Having been brought there for my birthday luncheon where everything was every bit as good as I expected, even the weather which meant an enjoyable walk round the unique gardens. While enjoying today's Sunday luncheon with relations, it dawned on me how nice if a group of actors could arrive and sit down at an opposite table in period costume and act as though they were part of a Mrs Marpole drama. Especially as the perfect atmosphere is in this wonderful timewarp of a place, to have a number such enactments during the year.

22/10/2024: Excellent local arts venue in Bray. Great staff and atmosphere! We’re lucky to have a network of community arts venues like this one. It’s got a great cosy main room, great staff, and ease of parking and access.

14/11/2024: Myself and my partner stayed here last Friday and had the most amazing stay. We were upgraded to a suite and it was the most amazing surprise, thank you Sinead and Darragh we will definitely be back very soon. The food in the bar was delicious and our server was an absolutely lovely young man, I believe his name was Daniel, he was so polite and such a pleasure as someone who works in the hospitality industry he has a very bright future ahead of him, keep it up Daniel. Amazing service. Breakfast on Saturday morning was delicious and plenty of options. The pancakes were beautiful as was the full Irish. Only negative is we were not offered tea or coffee but we could see it was very busy so not much to fault here

20/10/2024: I can only give feedback about the houses. They are mostly in good condition. 3 rooms with en suit bathrooms. Nice spacious kitchen with dining room and living room all in one space but nicely set up. Avon is situated near a lake and has beautiful views. Many places to take a walk, for example the forest around the lake. Also places to see. There is a cafe and food court on the premises. There is also security, which is good.

02/10/2024: Good restaurant with Indian and other dishes. The quality is good but the restaurant itself is quite simple and staff could pay some more attention. Still a very good and tasty experience.

30/09/2024: We had Mark look after us and the rest of the staff and I could not be more impressed. They were kind, professional, attentive and the food we had in the restaurant was top class. The portions were excellent and the Guinness was poured to perfection. Please stay here if you want a great stay, excellent service and well priced accommodation and food.

24/09/2024: We were seated at a nice table, but there was a lot of noise from the Bar & we could see the TV in the Bar from where we were sitting. There was a Rugby Match on so very noisy. We asked if they could close the door to be told the door was removed from its hinges, so No Door. I would love to hear the Fire Officers Opinion on that one. The Waitress pulled over a curtain to try dampen the noise We started with Cocktails which were nice The Starters were absolutely amazing, lots of layers of flavours and textures Unfortunately the mains were shocking, my wife had the fish and I had the pork, both were way overcooked and over seasoned, neither of us finished the mains as the food was too salty and too tough and dry We tried here twice before and left a gap to this visit to see if it improved The lighting and setting is better than before, starters are excellent, but mains and noise from the bar was not acceptable, so I can't see us returning anytime soon

27/09/2024: We had a large group coming down off, walking the Wicklow Way and were accommodated amazingly! Seriously what a great lunch spot… We'll be back the next time around
