06/01/2026: This place has to be one of the nicest meals I have ever eaten, their food is beyond delicious. The service leaves a lot to be desired- you won’t get a drink without approaching the bar yourself. Same if you want to order food, get the bill etc. you always have to go and find a member of staff. But other than that, they are very polite and friendly, so it’s not that big of a problem. Definitely worth the delicious food. Also love the variety on the menu.

12/03/2026: First time experience dining with Daata last week and we couldn't believe we hadn't been before! Exceptional food, the quality was just top! Service was kind and very friendly and all the staff were incredibly helpful! We had only heard good things and have to say it lived up to the hype! Highly recommend, we cannot wait to be back

11/03/2026: I visited this restaurant recently and unfortunately the experience was pretty underwhelming. The food wasn’t terrible, but it definitely felt mediocre for the price. The portions were surprisingly small and the flavours tasted a bit artificial, almost like things weren’t very fresh. I also noticed the overall atmosphere felt a bit tense, especially between management and a waiter, which made the place feel slightly uncomfortable. It’s not the worst place I’ve been to, but for the price and expectations I honestly expected a lot better. With some improvements to the food quality, portion sizes, and overall environment, it could definitely be a better experience.

22/12/2025: A thoroughly positive impression, both from the very friendly and welcoming service staff and the beautifully maintained ambiance with its view of the water. Good coffee and tea, delicious snacks, and homemade cakes. We'll definitely be back! Please note: the café is somewhat hidden, located directly on the riverbank. A small footpath leads from the bridge right to the café. Further upstream along the river, there's a large parking lot where parking is free on Sundays. From there, it's about a 2-minute walk to the café; simply stroll along the riverbank and you're there.

27/10/2025: Got a delicious coffee and toastie here! Love the flavour of the coffee, really special. Food was fresh and delicious. And the women working were so lovely. Love the river views, what a location. Thank you ladies 👩🏼‍🍳☕️🙏🏻🙏🏻

21/04/2026: avoca handle avers is one of the most visited centres in wicklow its just like stepping back in time too the 19th centre full of old buildings as a bus driver I do be here quite a bit and always a pleasure too be here

19/04/2026: The tour is really nice. Alan is a truly passionate man about the Avoca history and a great tour guide, very engaging. We went on a Sunday so unfortunately couldn’t see the weavers working. Apart from that, not worth the long drive. Overpriced cafe with awful pastries (not the Avoca standard you usually expect), plus rude and unwelcoming staff. The store is similar to the others around Dublin, also overpriced China made products

21/10/2025: Omg this place is unreal!! Such a good selection of icecream and sorbets to choose from. They make all the icecream handmade which I find really cool. Best icecream shop in Wicklow!!

19/10/2025: Wasn't impressed ice-cream was too sugary and very little flavour otherwise. 1x1 scoop cone and 1 x2 scoop cone was 12.50. I wouldn't have minded paying that if it was good quality but it wasn't

16/04/2026: Do not stay here if you’d like to sleep. We have an apartment for us and our 2 children. We were put right next to an alleyway. There is no attempt at soundproofing, so all night the drunks are yelling, and then some kind of construction starts at 6am. The rooms are not worth the cost- there are holes in the sofa, and a hole in the wall of the bedroom. No shampoo or conditioner, either. The bed is rock hard. Nothing like the photos. The staff is friendly and the location is great for walking, but there are loads of hotels on the same strip that I’m certain would be quieter and nicer.

14/04/2026: Great location on the promenade. Close to the Dart. Friendly helpful staff. Good restaurant. Connected to a bustling pub that can get lively on the weekend. Fair warning: there's an elevator but it's a little out of the way if you're trying to avoid stairs.

11/10/2025: The Taste of Italy was a delightful and delicious surprise. I had the pistachio croissant and my husband had the chocolate croissant. We kick ourselves for not taking some to-go and for not tasting the organic apple pie. Since we were headed out of town, we missed their lunch special, but I'm certain it's fabulous. The hosts were warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

04/10/2025: This Italian has just replaced my favourite Italian restaurant in London. Might not be local but worth travelling for.

03/01/2026: We’ve been regular customers up until this visit, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. We waited around 30 minutes just to place our order, and then another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. It was disheartening to see a table seated after us receive their starter before our food was served, with no explanation or apology offered. When the food eventually arrived, it appeared to have been microwaved rather than freshly prepared, which made the long wait even harder to understand. Overall, the experience fell short of what we’d come to expect. We hope this was a once-off, but unfortunately it has made us reconsider returning unless there’s a noticeable improvement.

15/11/2025: I stayed here for 2 nights while doing a course at the nearby sauna Bosca Beatha. Very comfortable beds for a good night's sleep and the food is also amazing. I had the steak, venison, lamb and chicken wings. Everything was superb but the lamb & chicken wings would be my 2 favourites. Breakfast was lovely as well and it was a very reasonable price per night too. Thanks

11/11/2025: Stopped here for lunch after a drive through the Wicklow Mountains. The stove was burning whichfelt welcoming. Good selection for lunch and everything we had was well prepared and presented

03/05/2026: 5 stars for the garden plants and staffs, 3 stars for the foods.

28/04/2026: Had a brilliant visit to Arboretum Kilquade. The staff were incredibly helpful in guiding us towards the right trees and shrubs for our garden, with plenty of knowledge and genuine enthusiasm. After browsing, we grabbed a bite to eat in the café and it was the perfect way to finish the trip. A dangerous place for the wallet and a wonderful place for the soul 🌿☕ Highly recommend!

11/05/2026: Unreal little authentic Italian spot. I went for the Mortedella and provolone focaccia which was really tasty and very well priced. My wife had the rocket, gorgonzola and pear salad which she said was delicious and very well dressed. All finished off with a homemade torta della nonna... Everything is made with love and care and the service is great, will definitely be a regular here.

07/04/2026: Great craic and decent food. Lots of dresses to choose from and accessories. A fun activity to do with a group of friends.

29/03/2026: Myself and my friends organised a suprise birthday visit for our friend who loves all things vintage fashion, tea, and historic. So, naturally, when we found out about this place, we just had to go. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic, which makes you appreciate the experience that bit more. They whisked us off to pick out our dresses and accessories, before we spent about 15 minutes having our photos taken (with a few VERY helpful pose suggestions to fit into the Victorian period). Afternoon tea rolled out afterwards and we had plenty of time to sit back, relax, and completely unwind in a beautifully ornate room with antique furnishings. Special shout out to the staff for accommodating a vegan-friendly afternoon tea platter upon request for myself (I would suggest reaching out over phone or email first just to be sure they can accommodate any dietary needs) Excited to visit again in the future! 💖

02/05/2026: Took a trip to Greystones for a change and popped in here to get food. Best decision ever.. excellent staff, speedy service and wonderful food. Greystones gonna get a few more visits for sure !
