07/06/2026: On behalf of the stones family. We would like to thank the staff and management of the hotel for catering our large group of guests of over 40 people upstairs in the Fairways restaurant, a special mention needs to go to Olga the assistant restaurant manager who was fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure that our large group had their drinks orders and food order taken, so a large thanks goes to her on behalf of the Stones family for managing a large group of us, the food was amazing too so a shoutout to the chef/chef’s for the food we enjoyed it very much. Thank you to the staff and management of Tulfarris hotel & golf resort on behalf of the Stones family. Alex Stones.

20/05/2026: Just back from a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Tulfarris. The food was excellent and the staff very helpful. We had a lovely bright room with balcony overlooking the golf course which was not expecting! The bathroom was huge and had extra large walk in shower. My skin is looking a lot better from a facial with Sandra which really made me relax and feel on holiday. The bar and restaurant can get quite busy and being open plan, the noise level was loud. Some sound absorption materials might help but otherwise the stay was perfect! We got greatest value for the hotel on Rorys Travel Club.

30/06/2026: Visited Gusto Italiano in Bray and had a great experience. The mocha was rich and smooth, the pistachio croissant was fresh and full of flavour, and the apple tart with cinnamon was really tasty. Everything was well made and enjoyable. A great stop for coffee and pastries.

30/06/2026: horrendously rude man behind the counter!! I asked for oat milk, and he didn’t even wipe the milk frothing, so there was dairy in my coffee & I’m lactose intolerant. I got a take away coffee and it was far too hot!! The toilet for in horrendous condition, no hook to hang your bag, no mirrors and the toilet rolls were strun everywhere!! if I could give the place no stars, I would!

06/01/2026: This place has to be one of the nicest meals I have ever eaten, their food is beyond delicious. The service leaves a lot to be desired- you won’t get a drink without approaching the bar yourself. Same if you want to order food, get the bill etc. you always have to go and find a member of staff. But other than that, they are very polite and friendly, so it’s not that big of a problem. Definitely worth the delicious food. Also love the variety on the menu.

10/07/2026: When I arrived at this establishment, I was extremely disappointed to not be met with any rocket-powered spacecraft. I was hoping to gain easy access to a method of transportation, but this was not even close to what I expected. However, the substances provided were... satisfactory. I suggest you serve some delicacies from Planet Zorb.

24/06/2026: Disappointed that this is the third time I’ve visited this Eddie Rockets to find out they’re either unexpectedly closed or not taking customers. We have been refused service due to what I could only assume is understaffing due to it being “too busy” yet many tables and booths seemed to be free. We have been previously disappointed by the abrupt change in closing times, which I find unusual to say the least - I feel that closing at 7PM every day other than Fridays and Saturdays makes no sense. Especially with the lack of food establishments in Arklow. Since Eddie Rockets changed their closing times, there are really no places to sit down and eat a substantial meal on this side of the town in the evenings. Now we have been refused service due to “electrical problems”, while other customers eat inside, music is playing and lights are on. I suspect this is due to another understaffing issue as I only was able to see one young girl working. It’s disappointing to say the least, as someone who generally enjoys visiting Eddie Rockets, I would visit more often if these problems didn’t arise and leave us hungry and searching for a new spot to eat (of which there are none, unless you fancy a sandwich for dinner from Starbucks or Dunnes). I also have had issues with their lack of acceptance of One4All gift cards. The One4All website states that Eddie Rocket accepts their gift cards, however while attempting to pay with this in the past, their card machine would not accept either of my two gift cards leaving me to pay out of my pocket. My One4All cards then worked at other establishments, so I am sure that they had the correct balance and enough to pay. Every time I’ve visited, the food has been tasty, the service quick and the staff have been polite with good service, so it is a shame to see it being let down by disorganised management. I hope to see positive changes in the future.

01/05/2026: The food here is exceptional. I love spicy food and my husband although he enjoys spicy food always gets heartburn from it. There is a good deal of not so spicy food on the menu in Daata however even when he eats food that is spicy in this restaurant he doesn't suffer from heartburn afterwards. I have no idea why this is just it means he can enjoy all the flavours without the pain. The staff are truly lovely. They are well trained and very good at their jobs. I love the atmosphere its friendly and happy. I would highly recommend a visit.

19/04/2026: Really nice place with great food and friendly, helpful staff. We were part of a large family gathering and had a great evening.

14/05/2026: The food was excellent, really authentic Italian done properly. Everything we had was full of flavour and clearly made with care –we ordered simple dishes but done very, very well. The pasta in particular was spot on. Definitely recommend booking as it small but the atmosphere is cosy and relaxed to sit in and enjoy your evening Service was friendly and easygoing, no fuss, just genuine and welcoming. All in all, a really enjoyable night and definitely one we’ll be repeating.

27/03/2026: Last night we phoned and spoke with Samona. We ordered a takeaway of mixed salad, tagliolini with homemade bread. OMG the food was absolutely mouth watering and delicious 😋. We will definitely order again. Please note you can also dine in as well.

16/07/2026: Fantastic golf course! An old, authentic Links course since 1927!! This course is very reasonably priced! The staff is super friendly and helpful, highly recommended. Oh yes, the food in the clubhouse is great!

12/07/2026: My husband and I were looking for somewhere to have lunch on our way to the beach. Having browsed some menus in the area online, I eventually discovered the Grainstore and am very grateful I did. My husband has not stopped talking about the slow cooked beef short rib and basque cheesecake, and my gazpacho was so full of flavour. All meals are served with a side their own grown leaves and herbs, which is a lovely and unique touch. As a vegan, it can be difficult to find anywhere serving interesting plant based options without going into central Dublin, but they even accommodated me for dessert with a chocolate cake and sorbet. The coffee was also great. The location is fabulous and reminds me of being back in my childhood county in England. Can’t wait to explore the rest of the estate. We’re very lucky to live nearby and will be recommending to friends and family!

11/07/2026: We found this place "by accident". Its located on an old castle ground and they also have a little shop, cafe and Pizza place. I had the slow cooked beef and I must say for 26€ I was absolutely blown away. I had no expectations coming here but I was very impressed. The food quality is top notch and the kitchen definetly knows what they are doing! For desert I had the basque cheesecake which comes with an incredible elderflower sorbet. I will be coming back here 100%. One of the best values for money you can get in my opinion.

09/08/2026: I have previously reviewed the West Wicklow House and thought it was time to give it another look. Food was good. Service was very poor. Not once did anyone ask if everything was OK. Also trying to get someone to take our order, even though the place was only half full, was very hard. No custard with the Bread and Butter pudding but trying to get someone to say it too, impossible. Overall it was just OK. That was your last chance, we won't be back.

21/07/2026: Our waiter Jung Jie was so accommodating and gave us wonderful recommendations, we got the chicken and pork gyoza and the prawn tempura as appetisers, they were so wonderful highly recommend them, for mains I got the king prawns in hot garlic sauce and it was amazing

17/03/2026: Visited KOI for the first time last week and was really impressed with everything, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the service and especially the food, this is a great restaurant and definitely the best Chinese food in Bray, I've already recommended it to several people and I will definitely be back myself very soon, fab 👌

20/07/2026: A wonderful experience. A great find. I even brought my dog ​​along without any problems. The food is really very good and affordable compared to other pubs in the area. We were treated to a short concert and some traditional Irish songs. I highly recommend going. Dinner service is until 9 pm, and it remains a pub until 11 pm/midnight (on Saturday nights). The Guinness is served perfectly.

23/07/2026: We had a wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, and the food was absolutely delicious. A special thank you to the owner, who kindly picked us up from our accommodation free of charge and even drove us back after our meal. That level of hospitality is rare and was truly appreciated. We highly recommend this place and would happily return!
