06/01/2026: This place has to be one of the nicest meals I have ever eaten, their food is beyond delicious. The service leaves a lot to be desired- you won’t get a drink without approaching the bar yourself. Same if you want to order food, get the bill etc. you always have to go and find a member of staff. But other than that, they are very polite and friendly, so it’s not that big of a problem. Definitely worth the delicious food. Also love the variety on the menu.

11/01/2026: a huge complex with plenty of parking, the cafe was very popular, as was the gift section, upstairs is worth a look where you will find discounted items.
07/01/2026: The original Avoca Hand weavers, quaint, shopping area small and restricted range as result - products mixed and cluttered. O real definition, and of course typical Avoca, over priced! Staff were friendly and polite, the coffee shop takes up a large percentage of the property serving artisan style food, quality was reasonable but definitely over priced for what was on offer, slice quiche with 3 simple salads, & coffee nearly €20!

Each staff member was so courteous and so attentive a special mention to Eric an extraordinary young man who couldn’t do enough to make our event so memorable. The menu has wonderful choices but the food itself was truely magnificent. An amazing stunning place to visit . Thanks to you all for making it such a spectacular special time ❤️ I can’t wait to visit again 🤝

05/01/2026: Called in hoping for a late breakfast last week but were we outside the normal time of 12.00 but staff were very welcoming and there was no issue with our request. Food arrived quickly and a variety of items ordered all looked great and were polished off in no time. Coffees were super too. All on our table left very satisfied and will definitely be recommending.

1x1 scoop cone and 1 x2 scoop cone was 12.50. I wouldn't have minded paying that if it was good quality but it wasn't

The owner and his wife were incredible people to share a conversation with, and the food and atmosphere were unmatched. Can’t wait to return, with love, from Texas!

04/01/2026: Have been coming here most weeks the last few years as my kids like the crepes but prices have gone up again, Nutella crepes used to be €6.50 then increased to €7 in 2025 but the other day we were charged €8 each to take them away! Perhaps justified for dining in as you’re using plates, cutlery, getting table service etc but not to take away. Disappointing.
31/12/2025: Very disappointed with this place. Food took almost 25min to arrive and when it did it was not very good, won't be going back.

13/01/2026: Often stop here for plants and other garden supplies. Also has a good range of giftwares and coffee shop. Bonus is a small outdoor play area for children.
At Christmas there is wide stock of decorations and other Christmas themed items.

23/12/2025: Looking for that Christmas pub vibes from the Hallmark movie? Head over to the O'Connor's! Stunning atmosphere (Christmas decor certainly adds to it, but still), fantastic service and delicious food! We stopped by for food and drinks after visiting Santa in Rathwood and loved it!
