20/02/2025: One of our favorite places ❤️ come here at least once a month for nearly 2 years. Food is always amazing and the owners are so lovely! Would recommend!

24/03/2025: The food that each of us got was exceptional. I have eaten here many times, but the food has definitely gone up a level. My food was so tasty and large generous portion, but looking at the plates of food my other family members had ordered, I was jealous as it looked so tasty and they confirmed it was. Can’t compliment the food enough. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and accommodating.

12/03/2025: We had an enjoyable lunch here. Me and my mam both got the mushroom smoked bacon toast starter and it was so good. The service is great. You don't feel rushed sitting and chatting after you are done your food.

08/02/2025: Hadn't been in for food in a long time but myself and my wife returned for long over due date night and it was actually better we remembered. Shanta and his team do an absolutely amazing job from the second you arrive. The food is fresh and super tasty, the quality will not be beaten. Our amazing waitress Leah was professional, attentive and friendly throughout out our whole time there. We would highly recommend visiting for a meal and a great time

11/01/2025: Staying in Arklow for the weekend and got a takeaway from here and it was absolutely amazing. One of the nicest Thai meals I have had in Ireland. Compliments to the chef

23/02/2025: Amazing food and lovely staff! Always a great time when we visit! Dog friendly so our dogs really enjoyed their time with us having brunch! Amazing sausage rolls, delicious toast options and huge and tasty breakfast burritos! The coffees are lovely and made with patience too!!

20/03/2025: Really kind and friendly staff. Welcoming nice manager. Restaurants that belong to the hotel have perfectly delicious food. The bar additionally has a big selection of beers, stouts and whiskeys. Definitely recommended !!!

25/02/2025: Run by well connected types who are there on that basis rather than merit. Supported by local politicians who want to be associated with 'The Arts'. Their banner 'Art lives here' is laughable. This is what Michael D. Higgins used to call "Art Dictators" back in the 1990's when he was the (excellent) Minister for Arts. Progress much? ...

20/02/2025: Had a lovely evening here. Went to see Michael Harding. A fantastic time,wonderful show. When he is in your area go and see him,will enjoy immensely. A lovely homely theatre. Wheelchair accessible. All the staff were very kind and helpful. Big underground carpark free to park if you are attending anything in the Mermaid. This theatre is located just of main street in Bray. Very accessible of public transport Bus stops very close to it.

16/02/2025: Spent a night away in Tulfarris and had a lovely experience. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is well kept. We were pleasantly surprised by the food in the restaurant. Prepared to a high standard and extremely delicious, with kind and attentive staff.

15/02/2025: We had a lovely big ground floor room looking out over the golf course. Clean, comfortable and good facilities in bathroom except for lighting in bathroom which was dull and lighting over bed made it impossible to read your book in bed! Upstairs restaurant was wonderful- great food, great service and lovely ambience. Nice bar with music that wasn't over powering. I was disappointed by the hotel only offering a buffet breakfast. It meant everything was lukewarm warm and by putting it onto a cold plate, then waiting to make your own toast, it ensured you got a cold breakfast. Ugh! Plus they charged extra if you wanted an Americano instead of filter which seems ridiculous as the machine is right there! I could have pressed the buttons myself! The queue for breakfast at the buffet was long and painful and I think a hotel of this quality can do better. This alone would put me off returning. At least offer the option of an a la carte menu. Otherwise, this is a great hotel in a lovely location.

02/02/2025: Fantastic place, excellent service and talented chef! Very fair portions, wonderfully fresh fish and delicious side dishes. The place itself is very charming with a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. The entire dinner was a very nice culinary experience - starting with delicious appetizers (squid rings stole my heart), through the main course (for which Magda can recommend a perfectly matching wine) to a fantastic dessert (hot churros with delicious chocolate sauce). A big plus is the children's menu, which was also duly appreciated by the youngest customers ;)

02/02/2025: Delicious place. We were twice with the family. Children delighted with fish and pasta dishes. We only ordered smaller portions on the first day. We took the appetizer tray - delicious, especially the seafood and sauces. The main courses were also delicious - I was delighted with the lamb shank, although the fish stole my heart. I hope to come back someday...
