12/08/2025: We stopped here on a whim after the place we were intending to visit was closed, and we're so happy that we came here! Everyone was very nice to us and the bartender was friendly and quick with her service! We only stopped here for a pint before heading to our next stop, but if you have more time in this area, stop at The Mount Kennedy Inn!

15/07/2025: I live locally to La Fig and can't resist getting a weekly pizza there. It's very reasonably priced for the quality of food provided. Although concentrating mostly on pizzas, the quality of food is above par compared to many high end Italian restaurants found in the capital. They also sell coffee by the bean and preserves from the continent, amongst very well made dips/sides and cakes. The quality of the products they use is obviously chosen by a very experienced person. There is hardly any pretense in the shop itself, just amazing food, which personally for me is preferable. Definitely not your average pizza shop and a bit of a hidden gem in the area. Enjoy it.

17/08/2025: It’s a decent spot with lots of Spanish variety, food is okay I’ve definitely had better for the price. The portions are small and I’d recommend to definitely get at least 4-5 things on the menu minimum.

14/08/2025: We had an absolutely wonderful time at The Glenmalure Lodge. The food was exceptional - the lamb was exquisite and cooked to perfection, with generous portions that left us completely satisfied. What truly made our visit special was the incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. Their warm hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. As an extra touch of kindness, they even allowed us to park our motorhome overnight in their car park free of charge, which was greatly appreciated. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and genuine Irish hospitality makes The Glenmalure Lodge a true gem. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to all the staff for making our visit so memorable!

14/08/2025: I stayed overnight in my camper on the car park, thanks to BritStops for helping me discover this hidden gem. Waking up to the stunning valley views. The pub is lively and welcoming, with a fantastic kitchen. Dinner was absolutely delicious – generous portions, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks, and the staff give great advice to help you choose something you’ll love. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, freshly prepared and hearty, the perfect start to the day. While I didn’t stay in one of the rooms, I was kindly allowed to use the shower in the morning – much appreciated! Friendly service, great food, and a beautiful setting make this a place I’d gladly return to.

07/08/2025: The steps were so steep and narrow it was impossible to carry our suit cases up. Had to down load to back pack. Thankfully we had those. Room key was the old skeleton that anyone could get in. The restaurant service was the worst could not get orders taken. Just plan disappointed.

14/08/2025: Great place for a casual coffee after a swim or walk around Greystones. Friendly and efficient with very good coffee. I had a well-made and tasty Flat White.

20/08/2025: Whiskey sour was decent. Interior is beautiful & trendy. Loads of seats. It looks very old manny from the outside. Grand options on the menu.
