The best restaurants in Wicklow

03/01/2026: We’ve been regular customers up until this visit, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. We waited around 30 minutes just to place our order, and then another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. It was disheartening to see a table seated after us receive their starter before our food was served, with no explanation or apology offered. When the food eventually arrived, it appeared to have been microwaved rather than freshly prepared, which made the long wait even harder to understand. Overall, the experience fell short of what we’d come to expect. We hope this was a once-off, but unfortunately it has made us reconsider returning unless there’s a noticeable improvement.

15/11/2025: I stayed here for 2 nights while doing a course at the nearby sauna Bosca Beatha. Very comfortable beds for a good night's sleep and the food is also amazing. I had the steak, venison, lamb and chicken wings. Everything was superb but the lamb & chicken wings would be my 2 favourites. Breakfast was lovely as well and it was a very reasonable price per night too. Thanks

11/11/2025: Stopped here for lunch after a drive through the Wicklow Mountains. The stove was burning whichfelt welcoming. Good selection for lunch and everything we had was well prepared and presented

24/10/2025: I came for a lunch on Thursday with my friend and my little dog. I would like to thank you Declan for your kindness and warmth welcome. Fish and chips with a salad was delicious.

17/03/2026: Busy St Patricks day.. they were accommodating, friendly and just generally on the ball. Place and staff were inviting and homey. Food was honestly impressive👍🏻

16/03/2026: Great place to eat. AVINASH gave us a great service :). there’s parking just in front. 30mins walking from the visitors center through a walkway. we recommend making a reservation.

19/10/2025: I go out of my way almost every week to get the Lebanese Falafel Wrap from this place. (It's closed on Mondays). The lentil soup is also perfection. The baklava is great to take home and serve as a dessert. One piece is enough per person I think; they are small but packed with just the right amount of sweetness and bite. Service is very friendly, it feels like a micro-holiday every time I go in there.

18/01/2026: This was a great Sunday lunch. We were too late for the Sundays roast, but the other Sunday specials were amazing. Super cozy and friendly staff. Would definitely come back.

25/11/2025: I was looking forward to eating here as it is a halal restaurant and not your usual fast food/kebab place. It was busy when we arrived, plus it's a small restaurant, so unfortunately we couldn't sit inside and instead decided to do a takeaway & eat in our hotel room. I ordered the "Crispy sticky duck and ramen stir fry" thinking it did not have any sesame seeds or egg in it as they were not listed as allergens in the brackets. We came back to the room, opened our food boxes and there were sesame seeds and fried egg with the noodles. :( I know I should've asked before ordering, so I do admit it was my fault too. I'm just writing about this here not to complain, but so that other people with similar allergies/intolerances are made aware. Thankfully, my friend had ordered a dish that I could eat and so we just swapped our meals, and it was very nice (Ayam Halia). If I'm ever visiting the area again, I would still be interested in trying some of their other dishes.

08/03/2026: That a great pub and restaurant. I’m n a wonderful location just at the bridge in Wicklow town . Great breakfast lunch and evening meals. Great selection of wines and beers .

02/01/2026: The food was fantastic!!! The setting was so creative and cozy, perfect atmosphere for some warm, delicious food. Highly recommend coming here if you want a good feed in a lovely, homey restaurant.

19/08/2025: Great bar. Music, atmosphere and of course Tracey and Ash behind the bar. They got rid of the draught Bitburger (booo!), but still have the most interesting range of draught beers in the town.

07/09/2025: Addictive! Delighted to be able to get a Sunday treat from them every week in Dun Laoghaire. Coconut mocha cheesecake is my absolute favourite ❤️ any chance of a loyalty scheme ? ☺️

26/07/2025: We dropped by today! We thought that this location was a counter as opposed to their production unit. No trouble whatsoever though and we were greeted by a wonderful staff member (so sorry we didnt catch her name). She noticed I was pregnant and immediately grabbed a chair for me to sit whilst she got the slices boxed up. It was so kind and appreciated!. Such a fabulous lady!. The cheesecake was 10/10 absolutely amazing!!! Craving was 100% satisfied 😁 will definitely be ordering in the future ! Thanks so much!
