26/07/2025: I love this place! They have omelettes on their breakfast menu. I always struggle to find low-carb breakfast items, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw their omelettes on the menu. Went for the mushroom, spinach and feta and was not disappointed. The coffee is a bit on the bitter side for my liking. But only a bit. Service is top-notch; super friendly staff. Also, important: their toilet is super clean. I will definitely be back!

06/09/2025: Wow 🤩 just had stunning family meal here. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Highly recommended. It is our new favourite place to go when we come to visit my brother and sister in law xx

26/08/2025: What can I say about this place? It’s fabulous. The food was wonderful and the old country atmosphere is what we all come to Ireland for. Some places have and The Old Ship Inn has it. They have a picture tucked away above the transition between eating areas that is a last supper rendition with the queen of Hollywood class Marilyn Monroe flanked by the Hollywood greats of years gone past. You go to this pub for the nostalgia of older Ireland. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Take your time, there is no rush to go anywhere.

15/09/2025: The location is truly stunning — you can see Bray Sea right through the window while dining, which makes for a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the views. When we arrived (after driving 45 minutes and with a reservation), we were only told once seated that due to an electricity issue the menu was reduced to just three items. It would have been appreciated to receive a call beforehand, as this would have influenced our decision to come. The food itself was good, though quite standard and similar to what you’d find in many pubs. Service, however, left a lot to be desired: we had to ask twice for plates despite saying we’d be sharing, and when we requested tap water, the server mentioned all the jugs were being washed. Only after I suggested water could be served in glasses did it arrive. Simple things like dressings, ketchup, or basic table setup weren’t provided unless requested. Overall, while the setting is exceptional, the service and communication fell short. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it based on this experience

04/09/2025: They had an offer on for steaks ,the food was good and service prompt however the steak for the overall cost of the meal outside of rhe offer was nearly uncutable ,very chewy and bloated out when cooked. The person I was with had the same steak but was able to cut and eat easier. Only one side of the resteraunt was open due to demand so quite cramped however they glady put the ac on

18/08/2025: Fantastic atmosphere, very friendly staff (family business?), and delicious food. The seating is cozy and close together, which completes the atmosphere. Highly recommended.

14/09/2025: Had a really disappointing experience at Daata. I ordered the vegetable paneer and bhindi masala ,both were terrible. In the vegetable paneer, the beans weren’t even cut; they just tossed them in whole. On top of that, the dish was weirdly sweet, which completely ruined the flavor. The bhindi masala wasn’t any better sweet and poorly cooked. The only decent part of the meal was the naan, which was soft and well made. Unfortunately, that’s not enough to make up for the rest. Wouldn’t recommend if you're looking for quality vegetarian food

18/08/2025: Irish pub!!!!! Characterful place, we drank a beer and ate two boxes of fried food: excellent calamari and prawns, and giant onion rings!!!

14/08/2025: Genuinely.. thee best fish and chips I have ever tasted in my life. Coming from South of England by way of eastbourne, we do alright with our fish especially in some pubs but this is another level 🔥 No surprise as its right along the coast line. Before you even get off the train you can smell the fish and sea salt in the air. Visit Bray and especially visit this amazing establishment. Not just the food, the local beer is excellent in taste also 👌 We will return to this wonderful area for this alone 👌

07/09/2025: Nice food, but be warned however, bring a flashtorch with you! Extremely dark inside. Hard to read menu and even see what I was eating , for that reason unlikely to return.

07/09/2025: A good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The selection of non-alcoholic drinks, on the other hand, is rather limited. The dishes themselves were a bit overpriced (around €20 each), but the portions were reasonably large. The noise level was quite loud, as the restaurant was busy. I didn't find the rather indirect lighting too dark. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

12/07/2025: Delicious Lebansese food in Wicklow! I feel very delighted for funding this authentic place.

12/07/2025: I went to the town last year and had Lebanese food for the first time in my life and it was absolutely amazing. I visited the town again today and I just go to this restaurant again. The food is still great and the servants are very nice and friendly as they were.

21/08/2025: We went in Tapau yesterday and such incredible surprise. I thought would be amazing but was much over our expectations. Really one of the best food that we had for a while. And the girls on the staff are very very friendly. They even took a pictures of us there. We loved! We went from Dublin just to see around Arklow, but already considered to come back just to stop by Tapau again 🥰

16/08/2025: Waited nearly two hours for a home delivery which was incredibly disappointing after being told 50 minutes. Called after about 1 hour and 20 was just told the driver was on the way. Still took another 25 minutes to arrive. No real apology for it and food was only alright.
