The best restaurants in Wicklow

20/08/2025: Rude staff made my friend and I feel uncomfortable. Slow service. Miscommunication about reservations. We didn’t feel welcome. The food is good tho.

17/08/2025: Was there last night for the first time and I have to say I was shocked at how filthy and dingy this place is for being a new enough venue, large dip on the floor of the rooftop bar seen 5 or 6 people nearly twist an ankle over it and no signage to say. Toilets were disgusting all the flush backs were broken off and glass all over the floor and one toilet flooded, we were given one mixer for a bottle we purchased and I was then charged another 25 euro for a 2ltr bottle of 7 up when we should of been given enough in the first place. Never will return we left after 2 hours

16/08/2025: As an island nation , you'd think the seafood would be to a high standard. Seafood Lungini , whilst covered and looks good covered in mussel shells basically that's all they were shells, extremely small with the tiniest mussels I have ever encountered, ditto the squid . Room for improvement .

03/08/2025: Hidden Gem in Wicklow on the Quay. Food was absolutely delicious, service was flawless. Only got to take pictures of starters as when the mains came I couldn't wait to start eating.

15/08/2025: Am not the type to post bad reviews, but by God it's probably the worst I have felt in many years, asking for an item that was gonna be reduced anyways to be reduced felt like I was planning to rob the item, rang the customer service for explanation only to hear the girl at the background making jest of my accent Very unprofessional I am totally shocked 😳😯 and disappointed In the end the manger apologised But the DAMAGE is done... 🤝

24/06/2025: Thanks to the machinations of certain Friends in High Places, I recently received Eddie Rocket's vouchers to the tune of three hundred euros. I quickly assembled a troupe and began marching on the place. This "March on Eddie's" proved successful; we quickly found a table for our group (we were twelve in total). We all ordered different meal combos. For my part, I ordered a Manhattan Burger with the Fries and Soda combo. Others ordered milkshakes, which I managed to steal a few sips from. I must say, the milkshakes in Eddie Rocket's are truly malts to mail home about! They were flaked to all our fancies. Our servers were extremely gracious and hospitable, especially the male server who took this photo. We didn't get your name, but you're a saint!

24/06/2025: On those frequent, hungry occasions when I find myself craving a burger, Eddie Rocket’s of Parnell Street is always my first stop. The team here is the best; the service is friendly and quick, the food is cooked with touches of grace and perfection, and a fine meal can be had for a reasonable price. I had the pleasure of feasting here with eleven of my good friends, and it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long, long time. If you’re going to go for Eddie Rocket’s get to Parnell Street by any means available— it will surely be worth your while.

05/08/2025: A wonderful farm shop with antiques, ceramics, homemade chutney, and much more. There's plenty to stock up on. The cafe in the middle with delicious food. I really enjoyed it.

22/07/2025: Nice place to visit, every first Sunday of the month there is a car meeting right at this place. Unfortunately they are not allowing to use the toilets now, and there is no other place there.

09/09/2025: I’ve stayed here several times over the years, as have my family, and it’s always a pleasure to come back. Hunter's has a real old-world charm. It’s not flashy, but the food is always delicious and the service is friendly. A lovely spot, very close to Dublin.

13/08/2025: Beautiful and charming old style hotel and restaurant. The restaurant is open for lunch on the weekends and high tea is available every day. The gardens are absolutely stunning and service is very lovely. The high tea experience is a real treat, sandwiches and cakes, scones and tea or coffee or prosecco. A real lovey treat in a beautiful setting. The hotels also offers rooms with breakfast options. Tranquil setting.
