19/04/2025: Honestly the Worst Pizza in Ireland. The Pizza is very expensive, was Burned and not tasty at all. The service was horrible, very rude people . Will never go again!!!

07/04/2025: First visit, just thought the coffee deserved a taste and is it good , it's lovely. Also the premises is immaculate with a friendly staff member behind the counter which made it all a worthwhile visit.

17/05/2025: Kept forgetting our order, took about 45 minutes for food to arrive when it eventually arrived, the food was really oily and salty and yet again forgetting a part of our order and on top of that the food was very overpriced. Overall, nice staff but the business is unorganised, slow and not well stocked.

29/03/2025: 1hr waiting for food to arrive. Old and Chipped dishes. Cold Draft from door. Door through to toilets constantly banging from opening and closing Cheap beans used in irish breakfast dish. Staff not closing door each time. Plug in Fan heaters being provided for heating. No fire lighting. Old cutlery, properly stained from years of use. Chipped teapot lids. Overall about 3-4 out of 10. Hope it improves as its great meeting location. Customers arriving and seated well before staff and business owner arriving. Made it feel like a lifestyle business…

05/04/2025: Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review. The service is often disorganized: orders for delivery are frequently incorrect or delivered late. Moreover, the owner, Francesco, not only refuses to take responsibility for mistakes, but also treats customers with arrogance—even when it’s clearly his fault. Another concerning aspect is how the staff are treated. Some employees work exhausting shifts of up to 13 hours a day, which raises serious concerns about the legality and ethics of the management. A business like this should show a minimum level of respect—both to its customers and its workers. Poor service and questionable management: not recommended.

24/05/2025: I've been coming over a year, and always have dinner at the restaurant many times or lunches. Service has really gone bad, not one cares about you, the wine list is just extremely over price. I've order a bottle of wine, it was bad, change for another bottle... could not drink more than one sip. I walked out pay full bill, speak with manager about it. She tell me she knows... and just walk away they don't care at all. Good luck, but you lost one good customer.

15/04/2025: Popped in after the Dubs v Wicklow game on Sunday. Loads of us hungry Dubs there. Very friendly staff and the food was very tasty. Well worth a visit

04/05/2025: Hadn't been in this pub in decades and it was like walking back in time in a lovely way. This and Hennessy's hardware has really stood the test of time, a hundred years to be precise and both are a credit to them. The highly experienced and professional bar tender trained in the landmark Downshire Hotel many moons ago so he knows his stuff and is a credit to Hennessy's bar making a strong presence in commanding the house. It was quite when I visited but the cosy seating arrangement hubs are still the same. Lovely bar, great family and lovely clientelle. May they have another hundred year's of generational success. 08/01/2025: Cozy lounge, great atmosphere, great staff and a good pint too. Dropped in with my Son as we were in the area, he said he definitely wanted to go back.

12/05/2025: Quiet pub during most of the day then a great local in the evening. Staff are very kind and quick to help. Best Guinness in the local vicinity.

15/05/2025: Have had food h many times here ,enjoy it ,but something has changed as went for site down meal and after 20mins waiting and going and asking for a menu I gave up and walked out ,more interested in take away than people who want to dine in

12/05/2025: I'm very sorry that I can't give less than 1 star. This place shouldn't be called a restaurant. Came back again after few years of first disappointment. Nothing better. I had to wait at an empty table for over 30 minutes after placing my order. No ordered drinks or complimentary snacks. Very slow service. Got my bottle of Cobra beer (€5 for sml bottle?) together with portion of pappadams and my starter at the same time. I love Indian food but food in this place that's disaster. Chicken mango curry taste like dessert ( extremely sweet), lamb curry a bit better except the rubbery meat. Small portions of curry very expensive with no rice included. Small cup of rice ( not enough for adult) extra €3.50. Pan fried naan bread looks more like roti or chapati very skinny and flat. Staff nor very friendly and not helpful at all. Our table was very messy, full of empty,unused and unwanted plates and glasses. The waiters didn't bother to remove them before they start serving our food and didn't clean the table when we finished. If I ordered dessert, I would have to hold the plate on my lap. At 10pm waiter told us that if we need anything else we have to order now as kitchen will be closed at 10.30pm. 10 minutes later I asked him if I can get 2 mango lassi for take away but he refused and said it was too late. Seriously? For 1 starter, 2 mains+ rice, small kids portion of curry and couple soft drinks had to pay over €80. I went home still a bit hungry. I won't go there again.
