15/02/2025: I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experience at Elephant and Castle. What was supposed to be a romantic Valentine's Day dinner turned into an absolute nightmare. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with hostility, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. When I mentioned I wasn’t sure what to order yet, the server rolled their eyes at me—an incredibly rude and unprofessional gesture. They then barked, “What ye want?” in a tone that made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. This was not the warm, welcoming atmosphere I expected, especially on a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. The service only got worse from there. We were completely ignored throughout our meal, making it impossible to order more drinks or even get the attention of the staff when we needed something. To make matters worse, I witnessed something utterly appalling: a staff member took drinks off a table after the customers said they weren’t the right ones, and then proceeded to serve those same drinks to another table. I was horrified to see the couple at that table take a sip, completely unaware of what had just happened. This level of unhygienic and unethical behavior is unacceptable. This rudeness was experienced by many as I spoke to fellow guests who also complained and felt the same way The entire experience was embarrassing and frustrating. I would never recommend Elephant and Castle to anyone, especially not for a special occasion. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere. This place is a complete letdown

10/08/2025: €14.70 is a good price for a portion of goujons and chips plus a small cheesy, curry chip and was enough to fill us both up. Only mishap was a few chips were underdone.

17/08/2025: I recently visited this restaurant and was really impressed with the experience. The mixed platter was delicious, offering authentic Indian flavors with great variety and freshness. For dessert, I tried the banoffee, which was absolutely delightful and the perfect way to end the meal. The staff were warm, attentive, and very welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, excellent food and service — I’ll definitely be coming back.

03/08/2025: Authentic Indian Delight – A Must Try! Absolutely blown away by the food at this place! Every dish is bursting with authentic Indian flavours, clearly crafted by a chef who knows the cuisine inside out. We ordered the Raan-e-Sikandari with coriander naan, and it was simply outstanding — perfectly spiced, tender, and rich with traditional flavour. It genuinely felt like dining in India. If you’re in the area and craving real Indian food, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

09/03/2025: Have been going here for years and years and it just keeps getting better! Food is amazing, their peshwari naan is the best I've ever had. The staff are absolutely lovely too. Takeaway is as good as eating in, always really fresh and hot and never any mistakes in the order. Can't recommend enough

09/08/2025: Well a few of us went to celebrate a Birthday and He insisted on going back to the Woodlands restaurant and I can see why ! The service was top class , the manager over saw everything .The food arrived like a painting each dish and tasted magnificent, the chef on the night was the famous Sandeep known for his culinary skills . I loved the way he plated up everything like a painting , and appreciated extra veg being served ! Nowhere does that anymore ! Our guests were delighted as the ambience was so cosy , and stunning views . Try ask for a Window view . All in all a truly memorable experience. I’m certain we will all be back !! Vegetarian options menu were the best I have seen , I will try them next time

15/08/2025: proper chipper with freshest chips cooked to perfection .great variety of foods chicken. kebabs .and of course fresh fish. the brest box is one of my favourites and all reasonably priced

20/07/2025: Hi, Sitting here writing this review, we ordered breakfast. Arrived cold, they reheated the plate. Beans were burnt and pale, poached eggs were too runny, not cooked correctly to eat. This is the first review I've done, normally we let it slide if we get bad food. But this was so bad. The Service was great, waitress so apologetic, not her fault.

19/07/2025: we’ve gone here before and really loved the food. We haven’t been in about 6 months and the entire menu has changed and is way smaller now. The food is expensive for what you get, they forgot one of our sandwiches and it was rushed out to the table. The cheese wasn’t melted on any of the food, we ordered garlic cheese chips and most of the cheese was at the bottom with very little sauce. My partner found something hard in their beef toastie which seemed to be a part of a bone. Staff were very good despite everything. Food was disappointing for the price that you pay and it’s a massive downgrade from what it was.

02/10/2025: Great coffee👍Great sambos, all made fresh, lovely location, seaside and park, shopping centre, 2 mins, beside the dart and bus station, very handy, recommend 👍

19/09/2025: On a day visit to Greystones we popped in here for some coffee and pastries. The staff made us welcome and we were seated by the window on a very wet day. We were served very promptly eventhough the cafe was busy. Very comfortable yet airy setting. Keep up thr good work

19/07/2025: I’m posting this review for one Reason, for a staff member who I didn’t catch the name off. An older gentleman who I asked to get a prize for my 10 year old Nephew. My Nephew has ADHd and Sensory issues. Without me saying anything this man, gave my nephew all the time in the world, allowed him to test out different prizes for there feel, touch. In minutes my Nephew was telling him his story. His Kindness was everything. My Nephew didn’t stop talking about it for rest of the day. He made our day trip to Bray. Thank you Sir.

05/09/2025: The Grain Store is a cozy and inviting restaurant in Ireland, perfect for any occasion. The outdoor seating is lovely on a sunny day, while the fireplace creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere indoors. Great food, excellent service, and plenty of charm make it a spot worth visiting.

12/07/2025: A fabulous mixed tandoori platter, watching Gaelic football for the first time. A variety of seating areas -- at the bar, in the lounge, or outside under the sun umbrellas. Fantastic staff, excellent food, a grand experience.

13/06/2025: Dropped into today with my mam, girlfriend and baby. We got the chicken korma, Tikka masala and nan, chilli beef nachos and a baby bowl. We can't fault the staff, location or food it was all top tier. Definitely be back soon.
