18/03/2025: I love this place authentic Chinese menu reasonable price and excellent quality and value for a very well laid out restaurant with views of bray head and the dargle Bridge and river .all our food was beautiful well presented and freshly made and tasty .service was excellent with friendly staff who recommended my starter and main course and banna fritters for desert We will definitely be back

27/03/2025: Nothing to say in the restaurant there was a bunch of people that wasn't a costumers they was a family members and they had the party they was listening the music very loud and the food I ordered something like a deal it and pizza was so small then in ad and was so disgusting the cheese they use in pizza tasted like a rubber and nothing was good just I can say is peter is a nice man and funny

07/03/2025: Had to wait nearly 90 minutes for my food to arrive. When it did arrive I was met with 6 timy pieces of chicken and cold rice. This food cost me €28 along with a naan bread. I don’t mind the wait and price as long as you get decent food. A microwave dinner in Lidl would be more filling and 1/5th of the price. Do better please

19/01/2025: Ordered takeaway breakfast for the missus and I. Took nearly an hour to to be made and was like warm. Overpriced and no care for customers… Martello down the road is nicer and faster service…. Will not be back

11/03/2025: We had dinner here over the weekend for my mams birthday. It may look small from the outside, but it's quite a big business. It has a bar and restaurant area. It's a nicely lit and decorated restaurant. There are plenty of food options for vegetarians and those who are gluten-free. I highly recommend their soup of the day and the house curry. Excellent value for money and great portion sizes. The staff were under pressure that day as it was busy, so I didn't get my starter until it was time for the main course. That aside, great quality of food, very clean and friendly staff. I give them a 4.5/5.

17/02/2025: I was there yesterday on Sunday about 3 pm , lovely atmosphere and a nice little friendly crowd in there , I was there with my mother who has severe anxiety so I was worried about taking her in there but she was immediately at ease there was a lovely bar woman in there to thank for that , greeted us so kindly , offered us to sit wherever we liked and asked my mother if she wanted to watch anything on the tv , she also was joking around with the other groups sitting around the bar which gave the place a great vibe full of laughter , rare to see as usually when me and mam are out it’s very hostile in pubs and she panics and wants to go home…me and mam will definitely be back again !!:)

15/02/2025: I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experience at Elephant and Castle. What was supposed to be a romantic Valentine's Day dinner turned into an absolute nightmare. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with hostility, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. When I mentioned I wasn’t sure what to order yet, the server rolled their eyes at me—an incredibly rude and unprofessional gesture. They then barked, “What ye want?” in a tone that made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. This was not the warm, welcoming atmosphere I expected, especially on a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. The service only got worse from there. We were completely ignored throughout our meal, making it impossible to order more drinks or even get the attention of the staff when we needed something. To make matters worse, I witnessed something utterly appalling: a staff member took drinks off a table after the customers said they weren’t the right ones, and then proceeded to serve those same drinks to another table. I was horrified to see the couple at that table take a sip, completely unaware of what had just happened. This level of unhygienic and unethical behavior is unacceptable. This rudeness was experienced by many as I spoke to fellow guests who also complained and felt the same way The entire experience was embarrassing and frustrating. I would never recommend Elephant and Castle to anyone, especially not for a special occasion. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere. This place is a complete letdown

08/01/2025: Cozy lounge, great atmosphere, great staff and a good pint too. Dropped in with my Son as we were in the area, he said he definitely wanted to go back.
