The best restaurants in Wicklow

28/10/2025: I tried Asian food for the first time and absolutely loved it! The udon and Tom Yum were incredibly delicious. The restaurant is very cozy and clean, and the staff are so polite and attentive. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

24/10/2025: The food wasn’t even that bad, the problem was service, the waitress was extremely rude, she kept looking in a bad way at us and practically kicked us out of the restaurant, even tho we were literally the only customers. The weather was really bad, we were soaking wet and she didn’t even care. Definitely will never go back.

22/09/2025: well worth the visit, always well stocked. spacious with loads of seating and a great outdoor spot for those summer mornings. nicely located within wicklow town. special mention on staff, Niki is always a pleasure to deal with. Friendly, always smiling and pleasant and makes a good coffee too.

29/09/2025: This is a foodstore with a very good selection of produce and a great deli which sells soup all summer long. Also the staff are very friendly. It is now called Holohans

30/08/2024: We need this chippie where I live. Fast, cheap, convenient and very very tasty. Best fish & chips in a very long time. The lady who served us was very accommodating and the nicest. Cod & chips and bread & butter on a bench watching the sea. Wonderful

01/10/2025: I ordered a soup and chow mein yesterday, by delivery. I got the food in, more or less, an hour (which wasn't too bad). But when I started to eat the food itself, I was very dissapointed. Asian cuisine, especially the Chinese and Japanese ones, are my favorite. And this was one of the rare times I was unable to even eat something. Sorry, but not recommend and I will not come back.

26/09/2025: Very disappointing experience last Saturday night. First time ordering takeaway. Ordered over the phone and waited 55 minutes before calling again. Then had to wait 20minutes extra before the food arrived. Just two spice bags and main. Food arrived cold and like it had been microwaved. No apology and was charged 0.20cent for the takeaway bag! Would not recommend.

27/09/2025: Romanian restaurant with a wide range of Italian cuisine, both pizza and pasta, and at quite affordable prices, below average in this region. But well, quite far from such service quality standards. Pasta carbonara was okay, the portion was sufficient. And instead of cola they brought local water for 2.49 eur

15/09/2025: Peters Pizza is one of the most magical restuarants in Bray. The owner Peter creates the most powerful moments and unforgettable experiences. Monica's homely cooking of traditional Romanian cuisine along with Peters star-eyed pizzas create a unique combination of flavours leaving you wanting more. I highly recommend visiting Peters Pizza, you wont regret it

18/05/2025: Nice little fast-food like sushi restaurant with fresh and tasty products. The sushi burrito is a fun twist over regular sushi. The staff were very nice. I can highly recommend if you crave quick sushi and don't want to break the bank.

19/10/2025: I had a fantastic experience at Mickey Finn’s Gastro Pub! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor. We also joined a brewery tour where they showed us how their local beer is crafted, and the gentleman leading it was exceptionally kind and engaging. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

29/10/2025: Love the vibe and concept of this cafe. Prime location and so much seating too. Also happy they have vegan options. However, they run out of food so often by mid-morning on the weekends. It's always busy so they could be making a lot more money if they produced enough food for the crowd. The service is very slow at busy times too. They also only have two small toastie machines so you're often waiting quite a while for the toastie. The price for the toasties is ridiculous but the breakfast burrito (when it's not sold out) is better value. Also, not sure why they never ask if people are having their coffee in the cafe or for takeaway.. they seem to always serve drinks in takeaway cups by default unless you specify. Seems like a waste of money for them and not sustainable. The staff are generally friendly enough but seem more interested in talking to each other than serving customers or clearing tables.
