30/08/2024: We need this chippie where I live. Fast, cheap, convenient and very very tasty. Best fish & chips in a very long time. The lady who served us was very accommodating and the nicest. Cod & chips and bread & butter on a bench watching the sea. Wonderful

06/08/2025: Worst delivery experience ever. After waiting an hour for delivery they marked it as delivered. I immediately called and was told the courier had it and it was on the way. Tell me why it took another hour to be delivered? The food is warm too which means they only bothered to make the food maybe an hour and a half after ordering. When I called 5 different times during the full hour from the first call they had turned off their phones. When it finally arrived a full two hours after ordering, delivery driver just said there was traffic. Still doesnt explain it taking 2 hours.

18/07/2025: Ordered food, nothing arrived after 2.5 hours and resteraunt ignoring calls, terrible food and service.

23/08/2025: Staff friendly, service slow with food took 15mins to be served Ordered 2 mini fries: bacon l burnt. poached egg over cooked Coffee cold waiting for food Over all disappointed as food looked lovely at counter

20/07/2025: Ordered a few times from here before and always been good but tonight the beef black bean was old and chewy and covered in some kind of oil. It was honestly not great to eat.

30/06/2025: I wasn’t hungry, I just needed a snack. I picked the first starter on the menu, vegetable spring rolls. I will be going back to sample the main menu.

16/04/2025: The takeaway options in Blessington are below par at best and we said we’d try tikka for something different, hoping we would eventually find some (flavour).. they only took cash, had to go get cash and come back.. we got a spice box..then we got home and opened it.. we knew straight away it was going to be atrocious. No colour to the chicken, 6-10 pieces at max, which was very scarce, a million chips though. So there was no veg, the usual pepper, onion etc you would expect.. but absolutely overloaded with salt. We ate 2/3 bites and had to bin the rest. They need to look at how average/ good takeaways season/prep they’re food because in all honesty this was very close to the worst I have eaten. I will never go back nor will neighbours who say they avoid this place.

07/09/2025: Genuinely the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, me and my partner keep coming back. The staff are extremely nice and friendly.

08/09/2025: Half cooked chips and a bad attitude from the two fools serving, getting away with talking down to little kids thinking they can talk to grown ups in the same way, and get upset then, when you put it to them straight. Stay clear.

24/06/2025: Ordered fish and chips for collection and it was ready in no time. The food was lovely and so tasty. Looking forward to going back soon. Staff were so friendly

08/07/2025: Nice and clean, with Penny's (Primark) and a few other shops located here. Among other things, you can get something to eat.

21/07/2025: We had read about the food in the Brass Fox and said we'd try it but definitely won't be back we had 2 starters and a pizza between us and i didn't think you could go wrong with a pizza or nachos but they were terrible the pizza lacked topping even though it was 2euro extra per topping so we paid 2 euro for 4 wild mushrooms which were actually 4 small button mushrooms 2 euro for a slice of ham and 2 euro for red onion definitely over priced but if it was done well u'd say fair enough but it was just thrown together with no care very disappointing the older lady serving us was polite and nice but im afraid it ended there

06/09/2025: We ordered goan prawn curry along with veg and Lamb biryani. Enjoyed the food and qty with prompt service. Take out place primarily but can accommodate 5 people if need be!

01/06/2025: Really tasty Indian food and excellent value delivered while still hot. The Railway Lamb in particular was so tender. Highly recommended. My second time with them. Food arrived in 40 mins on a busy Saturday night which was 10 minutes earlier than expected.

24/05/2025: Lovely walks - lush green fields and woodland and climbs to the Little Sugar Loaf. Freshly grown vegetables from the farm for sale. Coffee and cakes in the barn. A special day in a special place.

16/08/2025: Gorgeous Italian authentic ice cream (just as the name suggests) on a lovely warm sunny day in Bray by the sea! We got 3 scoops of the Strawberry, Oreo and pistachio flavours! It was creamy and just yummy! Melts quite fast so proved to be a bit of a challenge eating it! Best to eat it quickly! 😂😂😂 Highly recommended and great prices!
