The best restaurants in Wicklow

01/08/2025: I was staying at the Park View Hotel with a friend and we ate at Nanny Kelly's twice. The food is high quality and the staff is very friendly. Drinks and cocktails are good and that fish and chips was the best I had in years. Special thanks to Ricky the barman and to the waitress that knows my native Belgium so well ( sorry I didn't ask your name ). I'll be dinning there next week when I fly back to Ireland.

22/07/2025: Lovely food with EVERYTHING you could imagine on the menu😍Bartender recommend the buttermilk chicken burger 🍔 😋 and it was DELICIOUS

26/06/2025: Garlic cheese chips were disappointment on a another level the chips were cold, the cheese was not melted at all and was cold it felt like biting rubber and ruined my whole experience my joy was drained out of me when I saw the state of the chips, I felt sick after consuming that sad excuse for garlic cheese chips, there wasn't even enough garlic either and it was mostly that horrific cold artificial cheese.

23/08/2025: Staff friendly, service slow with food took 15mins to be served Ordered 2 mini fries: bacon l burnt. poached egg over cooked Coffee cold waiting for food Over all disappointed as food looked lovely at counter

17/09/2025: In terms of what's there it's grand...decent offering. Wowburger needs to be about 60% smaller and badly needs a cinema to have a chance. Honestly if they could get the cinema sorted and some nice outdoor features, it would be a brilliant addition

19/10/2025: Was in Arklow for a nite & stopped by as my partner said it the best as a x local he was right. Wow fab the chips were the best real chips I've ever had batter sausage & curry sauce also the best . The 2 ladies serving Saturdays night were so welcoming & friendly . The place was immaculate was so impressed. Cant wait to visit soon . Keep up the good stuff 🤗🔥

15/11/2025: Atmosphere is brilliant and cosy. I got a loaf of bread for almost 5 euros and it was so stale I couldn't even eat it. It was very bad and the flavour of cardboard. I got a bellyache after! sad I had to give the rest to the birds! I'd say it was more than 2 days old... The cakes looked divine though

14/11/2025: I used to visit this bakery/restaurant almost every day because the floor staff are absolutely amazing — always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They really make the place feel warm and inviting. Lately, I’ve been going mostly on weekends instead of during the week. Unfortunately, the food quality during the week just isn’t as good as it used to be — sometimes it can be a bit sloppy, dry, or just not quite up to the usual standard. That said, the weekend food is a completely different story — it’s beautiful, well-prepared, and genuinely enjoyable. It feels like you’re dining somewhere else entirely! Huge credit to the team for how great the weekend service and food are. I really hope the weekday menu can match that same level again, because when it’s good, it’s really good.

22/11/2025: Looks like great place for walk but I was just dropping kids of for play party. €6 to do drop and collect seems but steep. Should have a drop off point.

29/06/2025: Great walk at Belmont . Went for a beer in O’Brothers after which was a great dog friendly location

28/10/2025: In the morning we’re all in a rush and sometimes don’t check what we grab. That’s what happened here — I saw how they were making the sandwich, and it was awful. Watching them just throw the food together was disgusting. They also mixed up my order and missed several ingredients! Carelessness is their thing!

04/09/2025: Amazing cocktails at a fair price. The staff was really friendly and attentive. Live music on the weekends and overall just a great atmosphere in the evenings!

27/07/2025: Mrs. Robinson is not just a bar. It's like vintage, history and Guinness gathered for a party. You went in for "one drink" and ended up in a museum of style, spirit and details. Every corner here asks: "Take a photo of me." And every drink - "stay for one more." This is not just a bar - it's a character. With its own character, style and secrets❤️❤️❤️ I definitely recommend going in for a drink🫶🏻

25/05/2025: Went in and ordered food watched as it was been made , surprisingly the meat , was been reheated staff on counter was so rude. Place is filthy definitely Won't be returning in a hurry.

08/12/2025: I finally found you guys again, on Google maps. This is my favorite smoked cod for its sheer simplicity, perfection! Delicious, and think of it to this day. Take out.
