09/11/2024: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We’re regulars at Cafe Grey, and for good reason! The food is consistently excellent, with each dish more delicious than the last. No matter how often we go, we’re always impressed by the quality and flavors. The staff and owners make us feel right at home—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about creating a great experience for everyone. It’s rare to find a place that’s this reliable and welcoming, and Cafe Grey has truly become our go-to spot. Can’t recommend it enough!

30/10/2024: So comfortable! Sit on the roadside and bask in the sun! 1pm!

18/10/2024: Lovely little coffee shop with a very friendly stuff. The shop is small but this is okay. It is anyway better to get a drink and go to the beach and enjoy the scenery outside.

08/10/2024: Had a lovely decaf Americano and Almond Croissant! The staff were super friendly and chatty. Highly recommended

05/11/2024: Lovely food but half afraid to eat as delivery driver came in and was still eating the chips he took out of my delivery. Hands the bag with the food to me and he’s munching away. I go in to plate the food and the bag of chips he was eating from was open and chips broke off at the top of bag

17/11/2024: Brought our 3 kids for dinner here yesterday as a treat before the cinema. It’s a fast food restaurant so gave ourselves an hour to grab dinner here with enough time to get dinner and walk up to the cinema. After they finally took our order we got our drinks and 35 minutes later we asked if the food was going to be much longer because we had the cinema booked and after a further 10 minutes of them all huddled in the corner of the kitchen staring at our table they told us they hadn’t actually put our order through the system and sorry etc… We got up and said we were going to leave and stood at the till explaining we’d pay for our drinks. They all just stared at each other and said they needed their supervisor. My husband said we were leaving and would come back after the cinema because this even seemed like a drawn out task. They told him they couldn’t let us leave!! I told him to go to with the kids so the wouldn’t miss the start of the movie and I’d stay captive for the cokes until they sorted out whatever they were doing. Have been here so many times before, its always the same, if the staff are serving anymore than 3 or 4 tables it’s a disaster. Food is never great, for some reason it’s just not the same as other Eddie rockets but this visit really tipped me over the edge. Ruined a nice night for the kids: it’s far from cheap so I don’t understand how they cant get experienced staff and cooks. Should have made the drive down the road to McDonald’s. Kids would be fed and wouldn’t have had to deal with all that when we just popped out for a quick dinner and cinema. This is the second time sometime like this has happened in there. Reason I’m writing this review. AVOID if you see it any way busy

30/10/2024: Came in with my 2 sons for lunch on the bank holiday Monday. Food was the usual but I was blown away by the service. The kids loved the girl dressed as a minion and the girl dressed as a pumpkin. It was very busy at lunch time but they were so attentive to our table! This is my first review but I just had to come on here and say how lovely the waitresses were

25/10/2024: Food and service were great but atmosphere needs to be worked on, slightly dimmer lights and Asian music will make the world of different.

17/08/2024: Nice atmosphere, good drinks, long wait! Had drinks with friends. We ordered 9 drinks at the same time. 2 cocktails came first, after already about 10 minutes wait, then we had to wait a while for the beers and a sparkling water. One pint had been forgotten so we waited a bit longer. Overall a very long wait just for drinks. We weren’t given any explanation, but maybe they had a problem we didn’t know about. Everything else was good.

18/07/2024: Okay place but the more you go in, the more its smells like old unkept bathroom, probably carpets soaking in drink from last night but anyway it's not nice, just not classy if you're coming with friends.

24/10/2024: We enjoyed the food at Sika restaurant very much. We both selected the roasted quail, with smokey egg yolk and confit leg as our starters. Delicious. I was personally not so in love with the egg yolk, as it was so thick and the smokiness was rather elusive to taste. The chef at Sika knows how to cook protein perfectly. We both asked for venison as our main and to have it cooked medium rare. It was right on. The venison was delicious and very tender. The wine list was okay offering a nice selection of French reds. The white wine offerings could be improved. The service at Sika started out perfectly but fell apart soon afterward. Naveen managed our drink and food selections very well. He noticed that we were busy chatting, so he slowed the service of our starters, allowing us to enjoy the start to the meal that much more. From that point on - a different staff member handled every bit of service afterwards. The fine dining experience was diminished as the different servers simply reached across us and the table to serve the wine, remove starters and serve the main course. The final touch of inexperience happened when, yet another serve picked up our empty red, which we very much enjoyed and asked if we wanted another? At a cost of 90 €’s we chuckled and indicated that one for the evening was enough. We also wondered about the location of the restaurant, it’s the same room where breakfast and lunch are served. A beautiful space but for fine dining should the space not be an exclusive space, heightening the anticipation and feeling of a special treat when enjoying a fine dining experiencein a special place?

31/08/2024: Dined at the Sika restaurant with my wife for her birthday last week during a trip to Powerscourt and couldn’t rate it highly enough. The food was exceptional, however the whole dining experience was first class and really made the whole night special. A special mention to Eva who led the team brilliantly and delivered such excellent service! Well done and thanks to everyone! 👌🏻💚🍀

17/11/2024: this was my first time going in hear my daughter and son go in hear as I can't have or go anywhere near nuts and tell the girls at the counter my daughter explained they could not help us out enough went true I would say most if not all of the different coffee's and the alagey book to find a way to help me enjoy a coffee and the space over looking the river so peaceful

15/08/2024: Had the scampi and chips and the presentation was nice ,staff seem to have a terrible attitude each time I have been there with the exception of one lovely lady ,I was not well after my last visit ,hopefully it was a one off because I do like eating from this place ,
