25/01/2025: For years I’ve been ordering here , and last delivery was just a joke the chips where fit only for the seagulls , little bits of hard chips , and the fresh cod was like it had been sitting in an oven over night dried out . It’s hard to take a second chance when a few chips and a fish cost 40€ . Not a happy customer .

16/10/2024: Ordered chicken tikka masala sauce along with Chicken Jalfrezi , chicken Jalfrezi was ok to taste but chicken tikka masala sauce was a disaster. It tasted like condensed milk with a very thin texture , coloured pink . Never had such a bad tasting chicken tikka sauce from any Indian restaurants in Dublin or Wicklow. They should really rethink about this dish in their menu

21/04/2025: I came to stop by 2 hrs ago it was too busy. Fairplay to the guys inside is still manage to smile at me and help with my order in the self service Screen, got my food and it was fab. Will defo be back on my way back to Dublin
21/04/2025: Without a shadow of a doubt, the worst burger king in the country. On a busy day there are 10-12 people milling around behind the counter, doing very little and not giving a damn. As someone with over 20 years experience in the restaurant industry, my advice to the owners would be to close the place for "renovations" and pay whatever redundancies need to be paid, to start with a clean slate, since the entire team has been corrupted by managements abject failure.

11/02/2025: Not a good experience. stayed here last year for the Wicklow 200, but forgot to review..couldn't turn off shower after using it and hot water coming from both taps..twin room was very small and really in need of updating..

23/04/2025: Stopped for some lunch when passing through. Relatively small menu, as expected for a cafe, but the options were so nice that I struggled to choose. Went for a pulled pork ciabatta and my wife had a ham and cheese toasties. Herself was also impressed by the cute teapot and saucer set her tea was served in. The food was fantastic, with quality and quantity to suit the €9 per sandwich price.
19/04/2025: Horrendously rude woman who I think is one of the couple who operates the place. She shouldn't be in a customer facing business.

21/04/2025: Second time Iv been and second time the chips are awful. Reheated chips, they must cook them in the morning and reheat. The fish also had the skin left on 🤷🏼♀️Our whole table said the same and not impressed. Especially for the price. It's the lazy option. The fish and chip shop down the road is much better where you get REAL chips!

26/01/2025: I ordered a takeaway tonight, it arrived one hour after ordering ( that was not the problem) I understand that they were very busy. The guy taking the order couldn’t have been nicer he was extremely polite and friendly, however when the food arrived it was lukewarm the temperature that you would feed to a baby! When I rang to inform the restaurant that the food was lukewarm, I was put on to a Chinese man that was extremely rude,he asked me what I wanted him to do about it! I informed him that I wasnt looking for a freebie and that I just wanted to let them know that the food was cold and that maybe I was the last on the delivery list ( I live 10 minutes away from the shop ) and to my utter shock and disbelief he said “ I don’t believe you,you must be lying! ) Unbelievable!!! Never again. Back to Bennys for me.

03/06/2025: Beautiful location right on sea front, menu has such a selection so it was hard to choose!
Service was prompt and food was beautifully presented and absolutely gorgeous!
Waiting staff were fantastic, going above and beyond to deliver fantastic customer service, making everyone feel more than welcome!
My now most favourite restaurant that I cannot wait to return! We have visited this area so much over the years and have eaten in so many hotels and restaurants but without doubt this is the best!

Interactions felt dry and forced, with no effort to provide good service. It's clear there's a lack of energy and care in the work being done.
12/05/2025: Staff very rude. Been here loads of times but today the girl with the big eyelashes needs a people management class.

10/01/2025: Brutal service.order had leaked or spilt all over the place . Driver asked for a tray to put it on as bag was going to fall apart contents all over the place. Rang to complain , first order collected 40 min later second order delivered 50 after that .
Over all an hour and a half delayed for a €63 order .
Compensated with some prawn crackers

12/12/2024: Really bad takeaway experience. Ordered food online for delivery well in advance for a specific time. Having friends around for dinner. I don’t mind food arriving a little early or a little late. That’s normal. Food was delivered 52 minutes early. No one here. Friends were t due for another hour. Ridiculous. I pointed this out to delivery driver. Showed him on the docket the specified time. He gave it to me and left. I rang diep bray and asked what was going on. Was told if I return the order they’ll send another one out.
I explained the driver had gone. They said they would send another out. I said don’t bother, just have the driver collect it when they deliver the new food. They were hardly going to give my 1 hour order to anyone else so what was the point. Told them putting kids to bed.
Ten mins later 4 missed calls. Driver attempted to recollect food. I rang again and explained I was putting kids to bed. I was assured food would be delivered.
Friends arrive. Still no food. Ten mins later doorbell rings. Acceptable time for food arrival. No. It was the driver looking to collect the food delivered over an hour previously. No food to deliver. I ring diep bray in a rant. They said as soon as food arrives back in the shop they will place new order.
What a joke. Won’t be ordering there again. Amateurs.
