29/03/2025: Stopped here for breakfast whilst doing the Innishowen peninsula loop. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Super homely, welcoming & had a little stove lit. The breakfast was lovely, best fry I've had in a while. Everything was warm & to top it off the tea was nice. Would totally recommend stopping for breakfast if you are passing by.
24/03/2025: Good food, solid irish breakfast the normal and the vegan version (the sausages in that one are actually really nice). Atmosphere is really nice as well with a good location and some parking around. What lets it down is the service, its a little bit slow and doesn't pay attention. Observing the cleaning of 3 servers that morning was painful as well.

15/02/2025: Called in to Farren's on the recommendation of a local lady we met walking at Malin Head. Did not disappoint - the food was amazing (can seriously recommend the "best of both" or the seafood chowder!). A seriously good pint of Guinness was delivered in no time, and the largest coffee and hot chocolate order they'd ever had set us all on the road again. Staff were really nice, the bar was cosy and we could have sat in beside that log burner all day. A really great find and will definitely be back!
15/01/2025: Great wee pub, very cosy with the log burner on and friendly people & staff. We were allowed to bring our dog in too which was class!!

24/03/2025: From the moment you enter the restaurant till you leave you’ll be overwhelmed with the overall dining experience. I don’t want to spoil it for you but what you order on the menu is only part of what delights await you. This restaurant cannot be faulted. I can promise you that will be back here again and again.
Oh and as a bonus the attached bar has the locally produced Kinnegar Scraggy Bay craft beer on tap. It’s an absolute must to try if you never had it.

10/03/2025: Thank you for a memorable experience. The bar was cosy and welcoming and the restaurant was exquisite. The food was the highest quality and the service from start to finish was excellent.

14/03/2025: Had food there last weekend. Portions were great. My ham toastie was a meal in itself with proper big slices of ham. Onion rings were actually crispy and light, pure class. Finally, it is very rare you go to a place where there are separate fryers/stations etc for gluten free options. My wife is a coeliac and was delighted her chips weren't mixed with regular chips.

02/04/2025: Excellent time in this restaurant. Personally welcoming and attentive.
For the meals, everything was perfect or almost (the 5-star hotels in the area are far from having this level and should come and take cooking lessons here.)
It's refined, and the flavors and textures intertwine with balance.
This place deserves a Michelin star.
And the prices are quite affordable, especially with this quality.
I recommend.
07/03/2025: We ate here for the first time in October 2024. Absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the impeccable service. Excellent value for money and the standard of food is the best experienced in a very long time. This is a must visit if in County Donegal. The beef cheeks and monkfish mains were superb.

06/04/2025: For 10€ the portion was much larger than expected. It was nice to have a vegan option clearly labeled. I enjoyed the spice level.

Food was very good and prices were reasonable. Small concise menu covered each food group.
The dessert menu was very extensive and the deserts were delicious. Warm friendly service and attentive waitress.
A very pleasant experience.
29/03/2025: Ate here tonight, absolutely brilliant. Was very well looked after by Jo and the team and the food was first class. Had the bruschetta to start followed by the crab linguine. Seriously people, if you do not eat here, it is your loss. SERIOUSLY!

Really good menu with loads of options for every appetite, it was very difficult to narrow down the choices. The food was absolutely top class, I’ll be dreaming of the Fish & Chips until I get back again ❤️ Maith thú.
04/01/2025: Excellent family run Cafe. Friendly, fast and efficient and value for money. I visit frequently and have no hesitation in recommending a visit here, if only for a coffee.

18/03/2025: We came to Donegal late about 8 pm, i search and is the best puntuation in Google maps.
So we went there. The first contact a waiter that speaks Spanish, that it's a point when in your group not everybody speaks English. When we get the food all was wonderful, probably one of the best hamburguers in ireland that i tried, but the best was the turkey, the stuffing was like my family recipe, tasty and moist that in a turkey is quite difficult. Also the desserts were wonderful.
If you came to Donegal came here. Very recommended.
Dock in the harbour and have a good time.
12/03/2025: Simply excellent. Ireland is generous and friendly. This restaurant reflects all that. And very good music as a bonus. Then on to MC Cafferty's who recommended this good restaurant to us.
