29/06/2026: Been dying to try aa I love napoli style pizza not really a great comparison. Crust wasn't full and puffy enough base moist and no structure. Really disappointed.and quite expensive at €18.50 for barely a 12 inch pizza

30/03/2026: Food is good enough but could use slightly better ingredients for the standard chip shop options. Low review score as the last 3 times the person taking the order did not correctly write down what we ordered, e.g. 3 times added onions to my sons burger and left off tomatoes that he ordered. In an order with only 3 or 4 items, it shouldn't be wrong so frequently.

23/08/2026: Fantastic fish and chips very reasonably priced two fish and chips fish was so chunky and two cans of coke €27 . Highly recommend. Well done AJ's

06/07/2026: We have been regular customers here for years, so this was an incredibly disappointing experience. On Saturday night, my partner ordered a Chinese takeaway and was told there would be a 40-minute wait. That was absolutely fine with us. We went into The Phoenix for a couple of drinks while we waited. After around 45 minutes, I went in to collect the order, only to be told it hadn't even been started. I asked why we had been told 40 minutes if the order wasn't even on yet. Instead of an apology or even an explanation, I was immediately met with aggression. The lady serving repeatedly told me I was being rude. I asked her what I had actually said that was rude, but she couldn't answer. She just kept repeating that I was being rude, told me to "look how busy we are," and then said, "Cancel it if you want." So I did. The delay wasn't the issue. We completely understand that places get busy. A simple "I'm sorry, we're running behind" would have been enough. What wasn't acceptable was being made to feel like I had done something wrong simply for asking a reasonable question. This seems to be happening far too often nowadays, where customers are made to feel like they're the problem for raising a concern. That's not good customer service—it's dismissive and, in my opinion, a form of gaslighting. Rather than acknowledging the situation, I was made to question my own behaviour when all I had done was ask why our order wasn't ready. When my partner later spoke to Kim to explain what had happened, he was told that I was "consumed." That was equally disappointing. Instead of listening to a loyal customer, the situation was brushed aside. After years of supporting this business, we won't be back. Delays happen—we all understand that. But there is never an excuse for treating customers with hostility and then making them feel they're at fault for asking a simple, reasonable question. Bring Back Tracey!!

09/08/2026: Had the pizza and chicken wings at RockHill and both were fantastic! The pizza had a perfectly crisp crust with a great balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings — every bite was packed with flavor. The chicken wings were cooked to perfection too: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a delicious sauce that wasn't overpowering. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and the whole meal felt like great value for the quality. Highly recommend RockHill if you're craving a solid pizzas— we'll definitely be back!

19/07/2026: Went for a quiet sunday lunch. Loved the food and the service.

28/07/2026: Ordered a half and half pepperoni pizza with vegan cheese over the phone. Server was very polite and chirpy and delightful, told me that it wasn't weird to order meat with vegan cheese. Delicious and will be ordering again.

06/04/2026: The gourmet garlic bread was completely disappointing it literally tasted like cardboard and had the same dry, unpleasant texture. As for the veg pizza, it was just as bad. They seemed to throw every possible vegetable on it, which made it overwhelming and messy. To make matters worse, it was covered in an overly sweet, ketchup-like sauce that ruined the entire flavor. It was so unpleasant that I couldn’t manage more than a single bite. Ended up throwing everything straight into the trash.

08/01/2026: Lovely spot. Marking down a star because we rented a wooden pod. The website states: "private patio", which it wasn't, it also states "kettle provided" but the circuit breaker keep tripping every time we tried to boil it, so the power isn't sufficient. Also the parking near the pods should be reserved for pod occupants as they were taken by visitors or residents in the chalets.

24/04/2026: Had One of Costa Coffee's Winter Turkey Sandwiches 🥪 with a Nice Pot of Tea, The Sandwich was nicely Toasted and I would recommend Costa Coffee as a Good place to Eat in at. No Change still good to eat at, I just recently had a chicken and chorizo flatbread there with tea and some water and a good quick service. Tried a New Chicken and Pepperoni Bagel 🥯 In an updated visit. The Place is still Good 👍 👍 Still Recommended.

02/08/2026: They have no plan for any sort of crowd. The provision for any sort of crowd and couldn't give a rats arse for people queuing for over a half hour. Needs to have a big think to themselves .

06/09/2026: A diner with a canteen atmosphere. But the food was good. Like everywhere else, the fries were too pale 😉

06/07/2026: Food was awful! Pure dry! And cold . Tiny portions , coffee machine out of order, forgot some of order , forgot replacement drink for coffee that was ordered. Ladies toilet had smashed door , unable to lock it. Service with a smile…… NOT!!

04/07/2026: Very disappointing. We visited as a group after seeing the 4.7-star rating, but every one of us left disappointed. None of our dinners were served hot. Bella’s chicken was bland with a tasteless sauce, and the chicken and chorizo pasta had barely any chorizo and a strange sweet flavour. The gluten-free choice was also extremely limited, with only one suitable main course. Two of us ordered the apple crumble, yet they arrived looking completely different. One had a crumble topping, while the other had no crumble at all. The 3 staff were polite but young and inexperienced, and on a Saturday night there didn’t seem to be a manager in sight. Overall, we left feeling completely let down and won’t be returning.
