06/09/2026: Myself and my husband got married here in August. What drew us to the venue initially was the beautiful location. In between the time which we had booked and our wedding date, the hotel changed ownership, management and underwent significant renovations. Brid, the wedding coordinator was nothing short of fantastic for keeping us updated on all the changes and always happy to assist us with all of the planning; she was brilliant at answering all of our queries and making sure everything was in order. We visited many times in the run up to the wedding and all of the staff were always very warm and welcoming. On the day, Olivia oversaw the running of the day and made sure every detail, big or small was looked after. John, the bar manager was also very helpful in assisting with last minute changes to our band setup. The day could not have went better. The bridal suite was beautiful and spacious for getting ready in, the ceremony room was elegantly decorated, the views from the drinks reception were beautiful and the sun even came out for us! The food was delicious and the portions were huge, everyone had a really great time. We could not be happier with how the day went and are looking forward to visiting again in the future!

17/08/2026: We had our wedding in July at the Blue Haven Hotel in Kilcar and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We originally booked with the previous owners, who made sure the handover was completely seamless. Brid our wedding coordinator, was brilliant throughout and her attention to detail helped everything run so smoothly. Communication was excellent and she was always available to meet us, even at short notice. A huge thank you also to Noreen, Rebecca, Martin and John, as well as owners Paul and Brenda, for making us and our guests feel so welcome. The renovations look fantastic and all our guests commented on how great the hotel looked. The updated bedrooms were also a great addition. We had our drinks reception in the new Tra Ban Suite, which opens out onto the outside area. We were lucky with the sunshine and everyone really enjoyed sitting outside for the drinks reception. There was a great choice of wedding packages, the food portions were huge and there was plenty for everyone. We had lots of compliments from our guests about both the food and service. We were delighted with how everything came together. Nothing was a bother and we’d happily recommend it to any couple looking for a wedding venue 🩷

15/08/2026: Food was v greasy. One part of order was missing but we had travelled on before we realised. Scampi was ordered but received fish bites and ordered chips with gravy and received chips in curry sauce ( which as it turned out ended up being nicest part of meal). Very disappointing.

19/09/2026: Worst takeaway meal ive ever had ..My daughter got me as a treat ..nearly 25 euro The chips were all bruised and grey/black..Obviously sitting peeled all day in water .. purposly when served well hidden under the taco mexican cheese sause ..disgusting..Curry chip the same and a spongey pizza ..insult to italia ..🤮

18/08/2026: While passing through Bundoran, we got the veggie pasta and a pepperoni pizza to go, and we have no regrets! The pasta is very good.

06/08/2026: Avoid this hotel. This place looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 1980s. Everything feels old, worn out, and poorly maintained. The lift sounds like it's about to fall apart. The room smelled musty and was dusty when we arrived. The air conditioning is so loud it sounds like an airplane taking off. The walls are paper thin. We could hear the neighbours talking, snoring, and having sex all night. The bathroom is ridiculous. The toilet is shoved into an impossible corner, and the toilet seat slides around as soon as you sit down. Don't expect any modern facilities either. No Chromecast, no Netflix—nothing. This hotel is living on past glory. It desperately needs a full renovation. Definitely not worth the money.

03/05/2026: Myself and my Husband got married at the Red Door on the 9th of April. We booked the venue from the morning to get ready and truly from start to finish our wedding day was made amazing by all the staff at The Red Door. The location is amazing and provides so many photo opportunities throughout the day. We had our ceremony In the Red door and it was so beautifully set up without needing any extra suppliers. One thing we thought was such a special touch was after our ceremony, Frances and Lauren met us both with a bottle of champagne to celebrate. All of our guests commented on the relaxed atmosphere, the food and the lovely welcoming, kind staff. The food at the drinks reception was outstanding. It continued to flow and guests were never left hungry. All of our guests said the dinner was the best dinner they have had at a wedding and that speaks for itself. The whole process from booking, planning and during the wedding was made feel seamless. We truly had the best day of our lives and that was all made possible by chosing the red door as our wedding venue. We highly recommend this venue to all wanting a small Irish wedding with a cosy, relaxed feel to it. Thank you all again so much 🥰

02/09/2026: The Mulberry Restaurant provided excellent food with friendly and obliging service. It’s located in The Radisson and has plenty of seating. The soup of the day (leek and potato) was tasty. My wife enjoyed her burger and I was happy with my half roasted chicken. Convenient if you’re shopping at one of the stores in the center across the street.

13/09/2026: Ordered on just eat and paid online and 20 minutes later it said my order was cancelled with no refund i called and they said there is nothing they can do

28/04/2026: Didn't stick around long as we only collected our order but the food was great the pizzas were done very quickly, considering we ordered when we got into the carpark. Lovely service people were very friendly and welcoming.

13/08/2026: Quality of the food is always on point. The staff are all very friendly, diligent and very accommodating when it comes to wanting to customise orders or individual needs. I’m usually there after work just before or when waiting on a bus home, the staff are always efficient at getting orders out quickly if needs be. Can’t speak too much on the atmosphere as I’m usually there for a quick grab and go or a preorder but the staff all seem to get on and it’s a comfortable environment to enjoy your food

20/07/2026: It was nice enough, originally they put way too much sauce / slaw in my kebab , but I brought it up and they were happy to change it straight away. The staff are very nice here, I didn’t feel akward asking to change the kebab . The second kebab was better the meat was lovely. But I’m extremely particular with kebabs cos I owned a kebab shop.
