09/05/2026: Lovely location and surroundings. Very friendly staff. The venue now seems to focus on the wedding market.

03/05/2026: Myself and my Husband got married at the Red Door on the 9th of April. We booked the venue from the morning to get ready and truly from start to finish our wedding day was made amazing by all the staff at The Red Door. The location is amazing and provides so many photo opportunities throughout the day. We had our ceremony In the Red door and it was so beautifully set up without needing any extra suppliers. One thing we thought was such a special touch was after our ceremony, Frances and Lauren met us both with a bottle of champagne to celebrate. All of our guests commented on the relaxed atmosphere, the food and the lovely welcoming, kind staff. The food at the drinks reception was outstanding. It continued to flow and guests were never left hungry. All of our guests said the dinner was the best dinner they have had at a wedding and that speaks for itself. The whole process from booking, planning and during the wedding was made feel seamless. We truly had the best day of our lives and that was all made possible by chosing the red door as our wedding venue. We highly recommend this venue to all wanting a small Irish wedding with a cosy, relaxed feel to it. Thank you all again so much 🥰

15/08/2026: Great size fish and chips other foods on the menu too like curry and cottage pie. I was delighted to see a Gulten free menu. I got fish with no batter on it.

26/07/2026: ​We ordered the grilled chicken burger, but unfortunately, the chicken didn't seem grilled at all, and they forgot the cheese completely. If you order from here, double-check your meal before leaving to make sure you got what you paid for.

It was so cold outside I couldn't believe the beautiful fire we met as soon as we walked in 👍 Food , staff and atmosphere was only fantastic Couldn't believe the menu & PRICE !!! 05/07/2026: Had dinner there to celebrate a birthday. Food was okay.Nothing special. Just junkfood on a plate.

06/06/2026: Excellent restraunt at the Viking House. Small but carefully selected menu, and an impressively curated wine list.

19/06/2026: Posting after many visits over the years. Famous for their chips etc. but we prefer sandwiches for lunch and these are simply the best sandwiches in or near Derry. None of your mayonnaisy mixes, fundamentally delicious home cooked chicken in thick slices with always fresh and crisp salad items plus delicious fresh bread. Big pot of excellent tea. Have yet to meet a member of staff who was not friendly and helpful. Quite mystified at some negative reviews.

11/02/2026: I've always walked past this place but this is my first time today in it. Went for vol-au-vents with chips, then a slice of apple tart and cappuccino. Honestly could not find any fault with the food at all. Very tasty and wholesome. What made this place though was the Lady serving me, I've being to a lot of places to eat out and this has being one of the best place I've came across for customer service.

05/07/2026: I Ordered Cheese Pizza, Chips Can Of Coke Zero and Dip At Around 5 18pm and Delivery Was Quick Because The Town Is Quiet On Sunday Evening and The Delivery Driver Is Friendly. I Would Order Here Again.

03/07/2026: Ordered pizza, fries, and cookies. The food arrived quickly, which I appreciated, but unfortunately everything tasted quite bland and wasn't particularly enjoyable. It didn't convince me to order again, and I don't think I will. No disrespect to the staff—they were quick with the order—but I just wasn't happy with the food overall.
