14/08/2025: Love the new menu. Food was amazing ⭐️ had the goat cheese and poached pear and the fish tempura. Highly recommend. Staff was great too, very friendly.

29/06/2025: The food was lovely. But what made experience better was the waiter, Riley. He didn't rush us, attended when needed, cleared the table as we finished one by one and was extremely friendly! Would definitely visit again. Absolutely great service!.

12/08/2025: Acceptable establishment but which took advantage of my status as a geographically distant tourist by using after my stay the bank details provided to make the reservation to make me pay twice for the room: requesting payment on the day of my arrival and simultaneously debiting my card. The manager refuses the refund and asks that I come to resolve the problem, which is impossible when you come from another country.

29/07/2025: This little bar added to such a unique experience to this area of Ireland. The room was just renovated with a clean modern bathroom. You could not hear any noise from the bar below. The bartender was a lovely young lady who obviously loved her job there. Thank you so much for a great experience.

18/08/2025: Free parking right outside the door. We were lucky to get a seat straight away. The place is decorated really nice and there's a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcomed us with a smile. There was a bit of a wait for our food but it was worth it. I had the pizza and my husband had the burger, both were hot, fresh and very tasty. The chips were cooked to perfection. They also have a take away next door which I look forward to trying. We will be back.

12/08/2025: Lovely country estate house that has been refurbished beautifully inside, food in the nearby restaurant was fantastic as was breakfast in the morning. They were a bit short on staff, probably as quite quiet to reduce overheads, but they were all fantastic and really friendly.

03/08/2025: We recently stayed at Rockhill for one night, having been influenced by the many positive reviews on Google and Booking.com. Unfortunately, our experience did not align with those expectations. Our check-in time was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but we arrived at 5:30 PM after returning from Sliabh Liag. Despite arriving well past the official check-in time, we were still made to wait for an additional 45 minutes before receiving our room keys. Upon entering the room, we found the bathroom had not been properly cleaned—there was a used razor left behind. Furthermore, only one set of towels was provided for two guests, and there were no tissue papers in the room. The sleeping arrangement was equally disappointing. Although we had booked a double room, the bed consisted of two single mattresses pushed together, resulting in an uneven and uncomfortable surface. The hard mattress edges made it difficult to sleep properly, and the overall night was restless and uncomfortable. The following morning, we were asked to wait another 15 minutes for breakfast, which we did not mind. However, my husband’s Eggs Benedict arrived with a strand of hair in the food (photos attached), which was extremely off-putting. To the staff’s credit, they were courteous and did apologise for the inconveniences. However, by that point, the damage had already been done. For the price we paid for a one-night stay, the overall experience was disappointing. The only redeeming qualities were the hotel’s scenic surroundings and the aesthetically pleasing decor in the reception and waiting areas. Regrettably, we would not recommend this property based on our experience.

16/08/2025: Terrific pizza and chicken ham wrap. The owner rolls and bakes the wraps fresh. Great prices too!!

21/08/2025: Seated straight away by a lovely dark hair, tanned skin front of house staff. Order taken as soon as I was ready. 2mins later the food was on my table. Great food and service with a smile. What more could you ask for. Thursday 21st Aug

08/08/2025: While on our honeymoon in Ireland, Ireland by Bike suggested we dine at Yellow Pepper. So glad we did, the atmosphere is so cozy, the food was amazing. We had the opportunity to meet the owner Kieran who is a gem! Chris and Kerrilee

05/08/2025: Visited Letteykenny in Ireland for a short break, had seen reviews. Definitely have to book so popular. Lovely options to choose from. Decided to go straight to the main, I had the lamb shank special of the day, The lamb just fell off the bone, buttery mash with good selection of vegetables, some as purée,and a tasteful jus to bring it all together. My husband had the cod with fish pie, a beautiful chunky piece, definitely a hot pie with creamy mash. Both our plates were completely cleaned. I had the meringue with fresh fruit and compote, meringue crispy and chewy just the way it should be. A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff were very attentive and polite. Very good value as well. Would definitely recommend The Yellow.Pepper
