29/06/2026: Absolutely disgusting behavior from the manager of mr chippie. My family and I were having food on tuesday evening with my 2 year old child who happened to be crying as we were leaving when the manager had walked in and told us “sort her out” while pointing at my 2 year old child and walked on. My child is being assessed for autism and and has behavioral issues hearing this as an already struggling mother i ended up crying my eyes out, when i brung this up to management they replied with ‘?’. This is clearly an ongoing issue as its not the first ive heard of this specific manager leaving people in tears and now picking on a 2year old child? disgusting behavior management should be ashamed of how they treat their customers.

29/06/2026: Ive ordered a portion of fish and chips and when my chips arrived they were cold and rubbery, the fish smelt like it had been cooked in a jacuzzi 😷👎.

18/04/2026: I love this hotel. Great rooms, amazing breakfast swlection, lovely pool and very helpful staff. Close to town and local attractions for kids etc. McGettigans bar and bistro never disappoints....the food is so tasty. Been to the clanree many times and will be back again!

17/03/2026: It's ok. Rooms are clean but it's main business is busy tours and "bulk" travel. Breakfast often wedged.Has a McGettigans pub as part of the complex so not really my kind of thing. The leisure center is nice though.

08/07/2026: Was in day before ordered bigger breakfast today got the smaller breakfast and my son had same thing as yesterday, but it ended up costing more doesnt make sense pointed it out to the man who was charging us at the till and he said doesnt really matter, but it does matter. He even smirked about it, wont be back. The girls are lovely though.

05/07/2026: Had dinner there to celebrate a birthday. Food was okay.Nothing special. Just junkfood on a plate.

03/05/2026: Myself and my Husband got married at the Red Door on the 9th of April. We booked the venue from the morning to get ready and truly from start to finish our wedding day was made amazing by all the staff at The Red Door. The location is amazing and provides so many photo opportunities throughout the day. We had our ceremony In the Red door and it was so beautifully set up without needing any extra suppliers. One thing we thought was such a special touch was after our ceremony, Frances and Lauren met us both with a bottle of champagne to celebrate. All of our guests commented on the relaxed atmosphere, the food and the lovely welcoming, kind staff. The food at the drinks reception was outstanding. It continued to flow and guests were never left hungry. All of our guests said the dinner was the best dinner they have had at a wedding and that speaks for itself. The whole process from booking, planning and during the wedding was made feel seamless. We truly had the best day of our lives and that was all made possible by chosing the red door as our wedding venue. We highly recommend this venue to all wanting a small Irish wedding with a cosy, relaxed feel to it. Thank you all again so much 🥰

20/03/2026: Excellent. Quaint, attentive staff, delicious food, and easy to talk and enjoy your company. Oh, and the food...Exceptional. We had quite the meal. I had the mussels and seafood chowder as my main even though they were appetizers. Both were very, very good. The mussels with thyme was a nice touch and not an herb I'm used to with mussels. My wife had the steak with Mash and gravy. The gravy tasted of stroganoff which she LOVED. Steak was flavorful and cooked just as she requested. One of my kids had the pesto gnocchi. They sautéed the gnocchi to give it a perfect crust and the flavors were nuanced and satisfying. My other kid had the burger. No complaints. Perfectly done. We also ordered the gratin potatoes, the crispy brie, and loves them both. I especially love the gratin. I think I ate them all myself. We ended the night with the rhubarb and apple crumble and the sticky toffee pudding. Along with everything else...just wonderful. Would return happily.

14/03/2026: A really beautiful cafe. Had lunch here a few times and food has always been great. Their cakes/deserts are absolutely beautiful, its hard to resist them! The beautiful floral delph is such a lovely touch. The service is great and staff are always so friendly. Cant wait to visit again soon!

30/04/2026: We ordered yaki udon(noodles) , squid fried rings, roasted duck; and all the food taste great. This place is a hidden gem. I tried them all ,and its all delicious

17/03/2026: My experience wasn’t good the room looked ok but the smell was horrendous like a wet mop that hasn’t been cleaned for a long time couldn’t sleep with the smell I was booked for 3 nights but I only stayed 2 the breakfast was ok bit small the bathroom was awful both taps running hot water no cold water couldn’t brush my till I had to buy bottled water terrible experience I would never recommend this place to anyone won’t be back
