05/09/2026: Got food and drinks here for a stag weekend and got entry into their nightclub, staff were very friendly and looked after everyone well, live music was great too

10/08/2026: Old world lounge with modern menu and great service. Lovely pint of Guinness. Easy parking.

24/04/2026: Had a wonderful 2 night stay here in April 2026. The room was lovely. There were soft towels and sheets, recently renovated bathroom with a lovely shower, heated towel rail and lighted mirror. The toiletries were very nice. The staff were very pleasant and always available. The breakfast was excellent and the dining room has a nice view of the beach. I've recommended Bank House to friends and family and hope to come stay again some time.

12/09/2026: Hambúrguer was very dry. Service was in a rush not friendly.

06/09/2026: Great portions of chips- sausages, battered sausages and nuggets all yummy. The goujons are breaded not battered which was unexpected but standard x quick service as ordered online and was ready in 10 minutes from ordering as it had stated

19/06/2026: Posting after many visits over the years. Famous for their chips etc. but we prefer sandwiches for lunch and these are simply the best sandwiches in or near Derry. None of your mayonnaisy mixes, fundamentally delicious home cooked chicken in thick slices with always fresh and crisp salad items plus delicious fresh bread. Big pot of excellent tea. Have yet to meet a member of staff who was not friendly and helpful. Quite mystified at some negative reviews.

21/03/2026: My toilit had a big sloppy 1 in it when I came bed bugs in the bed and the tv was tweeking in all my years I have never seen the 1st years in the back of the bus up the front now

04/10/2026: Was a very regular customer here for the past 7/8 years but the last two times I rang to order I was dealing with a an AI assistant to place my order. Both times was an extremely frustrating experience and I gave up both times. They also charge to order on their app so unfortunately I wont be ordering from Bamboo again until the AI system is either gotten rid off or vastly improved. Food is usually very good to be fair.

19/09/2026: I went out with my friends recently to McGinelys. We are all 18 years old and the bouncer Nathan McGinley who bounces at the side door opposite downtown let me and my friend in. When my other friend was rejected he grabbed me and pulled me out. He wouldn’t let me inform my friend that we weren’t going in anymore and blocked my line of sight with his body. He called me an ugly b**** in the process. He also called me a slur afterwards. He then waved me away. This is all caught on camera. There was also another group of girls that he grabbed and touched which is a very disturbing thing to do. Anytime I walk by now he waves at me with a condescending smile. I have not been back since and would advise girls to be careful around him. I don’t understand how he still is employed there, as this is not the first time he’s done this.

16/08/2026: We stayed in Letterkenny for 4 nights and went to many pubs, and McGinleys was our favorite by far. Everything was great: location, staff, and vibe. Hope I can go back soon.

11/08/2026: We had an amazing meal at Chapter Twenty. It came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. I highly recommend a visit.
