03/05/2026: Myself and my Husband got married at the Red Door on the 9th of April. We booked the venue from the morning to get ready and truly from start to finish our wedding day was made amazing by all the staff at The Red Door. The location is amazing and provides so many photo opportunities throughout the day. We had our ceremony In the Red door and it was so beautifully set up without needing any extra suppliers. One thing we thought was such a special touch was after our ceremony, Frances and Lauren met us both with a bottle of champagne to celebrate. All of our guests commented on the relaxed atmosphere, the food and the lovely welcoming, kind staff. The food at the drinks reception was outstanding. It continued to flow and guests were never left hungry. All of our guests said the dinner was the best dinner they have had at a wedding and that speaks for itself. The whole process from booking, planning and during the wedding was made feel seamless. We truly had the best day of our lives and that was all made possible by chosing the red door as our wedding venue. We highly recommend this venue to all wanting a small Irish wedding with a cosy, relaxed feel to it. Thank you all again so much 🥰

11/11/2025: This is an excellent eatery in Letterkenny. Good fresh and wholesome food served by efficient staff. The owner Martin came and talked to us at the table and told a few “jokes”. I ended up having 2 americanos. We will be back for more - food and entertainment.

22/05/2026: We we're on a tour of Ireland and only stayed in this hotel for 1 night, out of the 5 hotels we stayed in all over Ireland this was our favourite, the rooms we're spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The evening meal was amazing and served with well mannered young adults, The receptionist was welcoming and so organised. We would love to go back for a longer stay.

03/05/2026: Steaming hot room. Hard to leave the window open to long with the rain. No AC. Only one tiny window that opened. They gave me a fan but it just kinda pushed the hot air around rather than cooling. Big massive poop stain from the birds on the window smeared. Beds were hard as a rock and filled with springs, super uncomfortable. I hated the blanket it was very dingy. Pillows were thin and uncomfortable. WiFi was completely unavailable the whole stay and the other guests with our tour agreed. The dinner food was alright, the gentleman working there was a very kind and personable man. The breakfast food was very cold. Was a bit loud in the common areas and people walking by our room or knocking stuff over outside. I wouldn’t recommend.

26/10/2025: Always love coming in here — the atmosphere is great, and Antonia behind the bar really makes it. She’s friendly, professional, and somehow remembers everyone’s order with a smile, even when it’s packed. It’s rare to find someone who consistently keeps things running so smoothly and makes every visit feel personal. She’s a real credit to the place and deserves to be recognised for it.

09/12/2025: Had a small breakfast here this morning, Saturday 6th December. Service was quick and efficient. Reasonable value for money. Only criticism, the slice of bacon was cooked until it was hard, not crispy, just hard. Not sure it was cooked fresh to order. Otherwise all OK and yes I would go back. Cost including pot tea, €10.

It was so cold outside I couldn't believe the beautiful fire we met as soon as we walked in 👍 Food , staff and atmosphere was only fantastic Couldn't believe the menu & PRICE !!! 11/02/2026: I had a really positive experience with Charcoal Grill Letterkenny. There was a system error when I came to collect my order — it showed on my phone as placed, but it hadn’t come through on their side and I hadn’t received a confirmation email. Despite the mix-up, the staff were very understanding and made the food for me without any fuss. I really appreciated how calmly and professionally they handled the situation. Great customer service — thank you!

22/05/2026: At the Jack Keogh dance weekend, spent 15mins waiting ro get served at the bar only 2 bar staff serving.

20/05/2026: Good hotel, well located. Breakfast costs €16 but it's worth it; just don't leave it until the last minute, you might find there are things missing.

20/05/2025: This was one of the best hotels on our tour, and we had great ones. The rooms were cozy and elegant. We were treated like royalty and self service laundry facilities were available. I wish we could have stayed a second night.

20/05/2025: It’s a beautiful place! You feel like a princess in that castle. The rooms are very spacious and lovely, and the bathroom floor is warm, so it’s super comfortable to walk around barefoot. The service from all the staff is excellent. And the massage we got at the spa was extraordinary!
