19/03/2026: Stayed 2 nights and booked mothers day for 12 of us. Food quality not good especially for a 9 euro supplement for a very fatty and tough steaks. Disgusted charged over 4 euro for mash and gravy in a bowl for baby

19/03/2026: The staff were very approachable and nothing was to much trouble. I am vegetarian with an allergy to all colours of peppers and they were extremely kind and made a meal off the menu that I could have. The food was nicely plated and hot anything we had was delicious my husband likes his chicken etc. Rooms were clean and well equipped with lovely comfy beds. The buffet style breakfast was the best I've ever seen with everything you could want including salmon. I would highly recommend this hotel.

01/08/2025: Unexpected pitstop for diesel an we found this! Everything was cooked to order, so incredibly fresh. The lovely man behind the counter warned of the portion size for our 10yo, even though it meant lower sales... A lovely family experience!

08/08/2025: While on our honeymoon in Ireland, Ireland by Bike suggested we dine at Yellow Pepper. So glad we did, the atmosphere is so cozy, the food was amazing. We had the opportunity to meet the owner Kieran who is a gem! Chris and Kerrilee

05/08/2025: Visited Letteykenny in Ireland for a short break, had seen reviews. Definitely have to book so popular. Lovely options to choose from. Decided to go straight to the main, I had the lamb shank special of the day, The lamb just fell off the bone, buttery mash with good selection of vegetables, some as purée,and a tasteful jus to bring it all together. My husband had the cod with fish pie, a beautiful chunky piece, definitely a hot pie with creamy mash. Both our plates were completely cleaned. I had the meringue with fresh fruit and compote, meringue crispy and chewy just the way it should be. A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff were very attentive and polite. Very good value as well. Would definitely recommend The Yellow.Pepper

01/08/2025: Popped in to Have Chips and a Tea ☕, before a visit to the Regional Culture Centre. It was a nice and quick service and always good to be there. For My Latest Visit I got a back on the Menu Pork Rib Sandwich with Chips and a Tea and the Item is still Great Since it was last on the Menu and well Recommended.

24/02/2026: We had the worst stay in a hotel room for decades. The room was so uncomfortably hot that we had to sleep with the window wide open and drapes opened. Do this created another major issue.shining directly into the window were two huge security lights which are on 24/7. The radiator in the room was OFF and it was not possible to turn down/off the A/C. I made this complaint on checking out and was assured someone would call, NOTHING!!! When my daughter and I arrived slightly later than we expected but in plenty of time to use the thermal suite we'd booked however because we had traveled a fair distance, we asked if we could move back our booking(thermal suite) 1 hour to 4pm We were told emphatically NO as it was fully booked. This was a LIE. No one was booked in at 4pm. When we left at 4.12 not a single person had arrived to use it! The only thing good about this hotel was the bar food, That's it. Try somewhere else if you actually want to sleep at night

21/02/2026: From the moment we arrived at Villa Rose, we were welcomed by such a warm and friendly atmosphere. The hotel has a genuinely inviting feel that immediately makes you feel at home. I had a massage booked with Gemma, and she was absolutely amazing — incredibly professional and wonderfully relaxing. I felt completely at ease afterwards. A truly lovely experience and I would happily stay again.

03/11/2025: Popped in here today for a bite to eat and found it to be top notch. Service with a smile, food came out quickly and was excellent whilst reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the grub, good home style cottage pie, really tasty. Would definitely visit again if in this neck of the woods.

02/03/2026: We had the best time in cresslough and enjoyed all our lovely meals at Roses bar for the two nights we were there. Above all we had great service from one of the staff ( Andrew)he was so friendly and helpful especially when we couldn't decide what to have he gave a few suggestions.. I would totally drive back to enjoy the food. It was more than 10/10 for us👌. Thank you

09/01/2026: We stopped into Roses for some food when passing and visitors to the area, we arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant area was open so we allowed we would get a drink in the bar while we waited. The staff brought down menus to us and took our order really quickly, which was appreciated. Food came really quickly, very tasty and real good portions. Cosy bar and restaurant. Would definitely return if back in the area. Highly recommend.

19/07/2025: I loved it here! It was such a welcoming atmosphere and everyone was so friendly! The food is so so good and the bartenders were extremely nice! If you’re ever in Ballyshannon I’d def recommend stopping by!

01/02/2026: Cash only but they can process Revolut if needs be. Honestly the best Chinese Takeaway I've had in years. I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork, Spring Rolls and Chips. All top drawer. Quite simply the best Chinese Takeaway food I've ever had in Ireland if I'm being honest. Side note - beware the Kaifeng of the East! (Nothing to do with the restaurant!)

09/12/2025: Had a small breakfast here this morning, Saturday 6th December. Service was quick and efficient. Reasonable value for money. Only criticism, the slice of bacon was cooked until it was hard, not crispy, just hard. Not sure it was cooked fresh to order. Otherwise all OK and yes I would go back. Cost including pot tea, €10.
