The best restaurants in Donegal

23/12/2025: Had the pleasure of dining in this amazing restaurant on saturday night ; From the moment we walked in the door we had 5 star service ; the staff were amazing : so friendly and welcoming; nothing was a problem.; The food was just amazing; we will most definitely be returning again, I highly reccomend this place for any special.occasion; you will not be dissapointed .

21/10/2025: So I had heard of this restaurant from my parents who had gone to ireland a few years ago and all they had was rave reviews of this place. So when I got the chance to go with them this time, I jumped on it. The seven hour flight was worth it in my opinion. This place has a meal that you can order where you can cook your steak right in front of you on the table. Yeah I couldnt believe it either. Its a bit pricey, but come on where else can you say that you cooked your steak at your table on a hot stone. And the cut of beef was superb, I literally have nothing bad to say about this place. Take a chance, try it. Enjoy!!

27/10/2025: Great chips. Faster cooking than McDonald's at lunchtime today, about 3min. Chips homemade so nice my picky daughter even ate some.

27/10/2025: Visit to letterkenny last week Best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Batter was so light and haddock was melt in the mouth.

29/08/2025: Real country pub this, extremely popular and well-founded on why. I've been here twice, and on both occasions I had the bacon cheeseburger. Its one of the best burgers I have ever eaten, and extremely filling. The staff are fantastic and the service is great. 10 on 10 for the rusty!

24/08/2025: Sorry but waited nearly 40 minutes for table got a table then waited 15 mins or more for our orders to be taken nobody came so we walked out no one seemed to know what they were doing

05/12/2025: had lunch fish was nice chips were Luke warm and tasted like oven chips, peas hard and cold

29/11/2025: Jim's Cafe, wow, so clean and tidy with welcoming staff. The food was delicious 😋 and I really enjoyed. I wasn't expecting this and I was so surprised by this gem of a cafe. I actually told the staff that It was such a nice place and that they were so quick and efficient. I even got a coffee ☕️ to go and yea, can't wait to go back again. Well done 👏

15/07/2025: Stopped today for a takeout. Very nice friendly staff. Place was spotlessly clean, even the toilet was gleaming. Food was spot on and didn't cost an arm and a leg for what we got. Would definitely stop there again.

11/11/2025: This is an excellent eatery in Letterkenny. Good fresh and wholesome food served by efficient staff. The owner Martin came and talked to us at the table and told a few “jokes”. I ended up having 2 americanos. We will be back for more - food and entertainment.

29/10/2025: Nice cafe with fair prices. Had a good coffee and service.

17/12/2025: Nice hotel. I couldn't fault the rooms. I didnt eat or drink here so I can't comment about either. Reasonably priced.

03/12/2025: YOU MUST STAY HERE!!!! The staff and people are absolutely amazing!! It’s so gorgeous and the people are absolutely amazing! Breda absolutely fantastic!!!!! I will treasure this place for my entire life, truly absolutely magical

07/07/2025: Great snack bar. We had a burger and an acai bowl. The view of the beach is super beautiful.

14/11/2025: Well, what a gem. An enormous hotel complex right in town centre. Well presented, obviously good investment in the rooms and facilities. The hotel is packed, and the town buzzing. Lovely relaxed experience all round.

10/11/2025: Arranged a stay for my parents and a party for mothers 70th. The staff were very helpful and made booking the event easy. My parents were very happy with their stay and said the only downside was their room was located above the residents bar which meant it was a bit noisy. We used the leisure facilities and then onto a meal. The staff were exceptional from start to finish - so friendly and helpful!! The food was beautiful and everyone including my mother had a fantastic time. Great place - would highly recommend!
