21/08/2026: The restaurant is in a lovely location and the decor is beautiful, so we had high hopes. Unfortunately, the service really let the experience down. We were waiting a long time for both drinks and food, and the overall service felt quite slow. When the food eventually arrived, the pasta wasn’t cooked properly, while both the prawns and salmon were overcooked. It was disappointing, especially considering how nice the setting is.

12/07/2026: I never expected to leave a bad review to Kate’s but I have to be honest about my experience. I have lived in Sligo for 3 years and I work nonstop and am always really busy. So if I find some time to pop into Kate’s Kitchen to grab a cup of coffee, a delicious premade wrap or yogurt, and browse around I’m usually delighted to do so. Although, every time I have ordered my regular flat white with oat milk I’m having to wait for my coffee longer than the people who ordered after me and every time I gave my name and spelled it and the barista pronounces wrong. Usually when people pronounce my name wrong it doesn’t bother me but if people are getting their orders before me when I have ordered and paid for my order before them it is extremely annoying. I popped in yesterday to order my regular coffee and said my name is spelled “Zo” and when the male barista with glasses called out my order he read it, rolled his eyes and called for “Zoey”. You can say this was the last annoying thing I can actually take from this place cause I hoped my experience would get better each time but it didn’t. As much as I used to like going to Kate’s I think I have to stop going as I am tired of coming here thinking it’s a treat for myself and being treated like a subpar customer every time. And for 3 years this has been my experience.

09/08/2026: We came here after hiking Errigal and stopped in for some food. busy Saturday and even though we had no booking, the staff were so accommodating and managed to get us a table for 5. The lady with the blonde hair (I never got her name!) was absolutely brilliant and so friendly. The food was honestly delicious, every plate was licked clean! 😂 If you’re ever passing through Donegal, definitely give this place a try. Thanks a million guys, we’ll definitely be back again when we’re passing through Donegal! ⭐️

15/07/2026: We discovered this restaurant quite by chance and are so glad we did. The beautiful and cozy atmosphere won us over the moment we walked in. The food was simply fantastic – delicious, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. Every course was a delight. Special praise goes to our waitress: she was incredibly attentive, warm, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Her friendly manner contributed significantly to our thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing evening. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and are so happy we found this little gem. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

31/05/2026: Loved it in here. A really nice friendly vibe going on at lunchtime on a Friday. The young woman behind the bar was so welcoming. I thought so, and when my wife came back from the bar herself she said unprompted “she’s a lovely woman behind the bar”. Went in for one and stayed most of the afternoon.

It is still the greatest Chinese restaurant in the north west of Ireland, if not all of Ireland. Keep up the amazing work. -2026

15/08/2026: Upon entering the Revellers lodgings we went sure if we were in the right place as entered into a bar. The location is right in the heart of town, rooms are very spacious and clean. Rooms have all the facilities to make our stay comfortable. Also very private and quiet. I would like to thank the lovely older lady behind the bar who made us feel very welcome and took the time to speak with us. Would highly recommend this place for accommodation.

20/06/2026: Superb location. Party of 6 with 2 guests fussy about seating arrangements. Staff very accommodating. Samples of red wine provided. Food served after about 30 mins. If busy expect much longer. Worth the wait except for prawn dish which one guest thought to be chewy. Decent Guinness and some 0% alcohol options. Well definitely be back.

12/05/2026: Our wedding day at this stunning country house hotel was nothing short of magnificent. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and wonderfully down‑to‑earth throughout the entire experience. Caroline is a fantastic manager. The venue itself feels like something lifted straight from a Jane Austen novel, full of charm and quiet grandeur. The grounds are beautifully kept and are picture‑perfect backdrops. Inside, the period‑style rooms and roaring fire create an atmosphere that is both cosy and timeless. The food was out of this world, and the service was truly second to none. Memories we will treasure forever.

03/08/2026: I only ordered the acaí bowl, so my review is based on that. The cafe looks lovely and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the acai to toppings ratio was disappointing. There was very little açaí in the bowl when I would expect it to be the main ingredient( about 70%). If you re going to offer ii. I would suggest it should be served with a better balance.

15/08/2026: There a lovely small Restaurant with very beautiful family group serving. They seem very happy and do everything to please you and make sure you enjoy your stay.
