18/10/2025: I could not fault the rendezvous. We have been there for food as a family and we recently just celebrated my daughters 2nd birthday. We had a fantastic spread of finger food for 10 adults, fabulous variety and gorgeous quality. We were looked after by Josh from the booking to paying the bill and I could not find fault in the whole day. The service was impeccable the food was exceptional and nothing we asked for was too much. The extra attention to detail given to the kids with colouring and ice cream which was really appreciated. Compliments to the chef on a beautiful spread of food. We've also eaten from the main menu previously and the options were fantastic, an option for all. Definitely somewhere to go for a party, a few drinks or a Sunday/Saturday afternoon.

30/10/2025: We heard good things about this café, so we decided to try it. Unfortunately, the pastries didn’t seem fresh, the almond croissant was raw inside. The coffee was mediocre. The bread was left out in the open, and I saw people leaning over it with their clothing touching it. There was also a dirty cloth on one table that looked like it had once been white but was now brown. I won’t be returning.
01/10/2025: This is a hidden treasure! We enjoyed the Ham and cheese baguette, along with a pear pastry. Both delicious

03/03/2026: I left. my make-up bag in room 204. My daughter emailed the hotel and got.an email back to say nothing.was found.My make bag contained.over 200 hundred pounds of products and perfume.We.had.a beautiful stay for my birthday but this has been very annoying.The.room was beautiful.with an ocean view but the pillows were not of good quality.For a 4 star hotel I would.have.expected better.As I have said losing my make up was very dissappointing to say the least

The staff were always on hand making our stay at the spa fun.

06/03/2026: Had a really nice experience at Lucas in Letterkenny. The food was well prepared, and full of flavour. You can tell care goes into the ingredients and presentation. The service was also excellent, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience very comfortable. Overall, a great place to enjoy good food with great service. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Letterkenny.

25/10/2025: Really love the coffee from there, very tasty, also the milk they used, I don't know the brand but was very good as well, super creamy.
The scrambled eggs were super tasty a well and my boyfriend for the Irish breakfast and he said it was wonderful, specially the beans and the mushrooms.
Staff was super gentle, the girl who served was was very gentle and service is very fast.

03/10/2025: I stayed in the hotel for one night , the rooms are fantastic and the restaurant serves great food , they have free car parking also you can park on street outside front door, the staff are very friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this hotel, 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
07/09/2025: A nice hotel right in the heart of Letterkenny. Everyone we came across were nice, and the room was nice as well. There was enough parking while we were there, and they have an underground parking area as well.

27/03/2026: Was overcharged. Scrambled eggs 2 sausage tea toast i normally pay €7.50. But was charged €10. As a regular customer I not be back. And it's not the first time it happened. So if your paying by card make sure to check before leaving.

04/04/2026: What truly stands out about this hotel is the wonderful hospitality and helpfulness. Emily and Mark are a very friendly, funny, and open couple who have created a very cozy atmosphere in the hotel and restaurant.
Dinner is perfectly fine, and the atmosphere is the main factor that makes it all the more enjoyable.
Thanks to its proximity to the beach, nature lovers and surfers in particular will be delighted.
25/03/2026: Had a lovely meal here with a group of six. Very friendly staff, in particular the owner who we had great chats with. Food was reasonably priced and portions were a good size, the views are lovely. Cosy spot for a meal while also having a nice bar area. Overall a gem of a spot that we really enjoyed.

09/02/2026: Tried all the pubs in the village but always settle on a favourite. Great atmosphere with locals but mostly tourist visitors. All the pubs dog friendly and felt very relaxed bringing in our dog. Excellent pints at reasonable price. Really enjoyed the music on Friday evening.
28/11/2025: Atmosphere excellent. Bar staff different story. When they try to belittle you to their friends and you overhear them when confronted just walked away. Years of going to this bar and treated with respect to this. Disappointing

The burger was fresh and delicious, full of flavour, and the shawarma was juicy and so yummy. My son is usually very picky with food, but even he loved it .and that says a lot! The whole family enjoyed the meal. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!
The best think I like as mom ,the kitchen and the shop is very clean, normally I do t eat outside but I really love to eat or order from here 😁
15/07/2025: Hello. We’d like to share our disappointing experience at your café. We approached a staff member (not sure if they were a cashier or a waiter) to ask about the price of the tiramisu. Unfortunately, they didn’t know and just ran off saying “one moment” — we ended up waiting for about three minutes while they were gone. Eventually, they came back and told us it was €3 for a portion of tiramisu served in a plastic container, around 200 grams.
Sadly, the dessert was very disappointing: it was hard in texture, had an overpowering smell of alcohol, and the taste was unpleasant — we couldn’t finish it and had to throw it away. Moreover, no one told us if we were allowed to sit anywhere, so we ended up eating on a worn-out bench in the shopping centre. We also had to ask for spoons separately. Overall, there was no proper service and the quality of the food was extremely poor.
