29/09/2026: Braw is an absolute wee gem of a coffee shop. The staff in there are dead sound and always give you a proper warm welcome. The coffee is bang on, but you really have to try their açaí bowls – they are quare good and everyone's raving about them. It won't break the bank at all, and it's mighty handy that they open from 7:30 AM if you're on the go early. You can even order online if you're in a mad rush. 5 stars!

28/09/2026: Only thing that puts me off is the long wait times. Every time. There is always a long queue I cannot understand why they don’t build a store or rent space when the demand is there. I don’t order food because it takes 15/20 mins just to get a coffee. But it is worth the wait! Prices are reasonable too, please keep it that way along with gluten free options, fab! The parking area is so rough you need to be careful not to get a flat tyre

15/09/2026: We had overlooked the fact that it is part of a hotel, so it took a bit of searching. We ate in the lunch restaurant and it was delicious! Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, and all that for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

23/10/2026: Large, expansive pub that does food & shows live sports on big screens. Not a cosy pub and a disappointing array of tap options - all the usual Diageo & Heineken drafts you see in most pubs. I was hoping to see some local, Irish-owned beers but alas. Looked like there was Irish whiskies though. Edit: I've reduced the rating from 3 stars to 2 stars because of the AI-generated response the business replied with. It is so disingenuous & lazy.

04/10/2026: Immense, and when I say that, I mean absolutely enormous. Bars, tables, and areas for live musicians everywhere... In fact, when the singer who was performing when we arrived finished, a singer started playing, and we thought it was recorded music, but it turned out to be another performer in a different part of this "venue." It's almost like a street lined with bars and covered by a roof, it's so big. An impressive place in Donegal, which, by the way, is a town with fewer than three thousand inhabitants. They were probably all there, although there are other venues nearby. A must-visit.

06/06/2026: Stayed in downing Bay hotel along with 40+ other golfers on 4th June 2026 .. what a fabulous hotel very friendly and helpful staff nothing was any bother for them. Rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean would highly recommend this to anyone looking a wee break away . Will definitely return

14/09/2026: Delicious fresh tasty seafood, you would be mad not to try the fish, you can even see the muscle farms out in the bay. Great views and lots of Gluten free options including the very tasty garlic bread, try the carragean!

15/09/2026: Best Chinese in ballyshannon,far better then Chinese in bundoran..the food is very very good,and massive portions,I've tried a few things,the duck dishes are amazing, same with chicken Chow mein ,I've had lots of take aways,and have sat down in restaurant,,they are run off there feet ,with the amount of people I've seen early after 6pm on a Saturday, coming in ordering take away and phone calls.. fantastic Chinese

18/08/2026: O M G !! What a pleasant and fantastic surprise. We were touring Ireland and stumbled on this place whilst having a pint in O'Donnell's. We decided to try the Golden Dragon on impulse, and it was brilliant !! Huge portions of piping hot, freshly cooked food. So much we had to take some home with us. We can highly recommend the combination starter for two, Rainbow Fillet Beef, and General Tso's Chicken. I have eaten Asian food in Hong Kong, Singapore, and all over the UK and Europe, and this place is amongst the best for food quality. The staff are delightful... this place punches above it's own weight massively!!

02/09/2026: Excellent coffee and a great scone. We arrived right when they opened, and there wasn't a huge selection of food, but what we did get was good. There's also a small grocery cabinet with carefully selected products.

18/07/2026: Imagine the first cafe in Letterkenny you walk into has gluten free cannolis!!! The guy behind the deli was so friendly and helpful too 💗

08/07/2026: If in Letterkenny and you fancy a great coffee call into the team at The Counter Deli. New Kid Coffee and a superb range of treats. After that you can browse the shop for some heart value wines and some cheese and more treats. A go to location

19/08/2026: Stayed at the hotel and went downstairs for a drink. Beautifully made cocktails! Place was totally empty at 6pm we were the only customers. Staff were very friendly.
