05/09/2025: Just the best value-for-price Coffee place we visited in 2 weeks in Ireland , and we stopped at least twice a day for a coffee.

05/01/2026: Beautiful place to stay. Food excellent. Staff very attentive and friendly. Only thing that was lacking was the Christmas decorations inside and out. It was between Christmas and New Year we stayed a few days.

04/01/2026: Stayed with my Mother for a night with dinner recently. One of the best experiences in my life. Both of us enjoyed every bite of the great meal. The staff were not just professional but down to earth and welcoming. Our room was beautiful and clean, and to top it off, we had a lovely little walk on Rathmullen beach after our breakfast. Looking forward to our next stay!

25/09/2025: We were traveling from the States and this was the best food so far. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was kind and helpful, and it was the best fish n chips I think I’ve ever had! Thank you!

01/09/2025: We were there on Sunday for day 2 of a wedding, it was absolutely amazing ,food was top class.Tamara greeted us and looked after us very well.

25/11/2025: Ate dinner here while we were staying at the hotel and we had a fab meal. All of the food was tasty and we would recommend the Prawn and Salmon Starter, Sausages and Mash and Seafood Linguini. Also it was great to try a few cocktails from the menu which was quite extensive and reasonably priced drinks. It was a family member's birthday the night we ate here and the team all got involved in bringing out the cake and singing happy birthday which was a lovely touch and really appreciated.

01/02/2026: We loved this restaurant! The atmosphere is very Irish and the food is delicious (we ordered the sirloin steak and it was fantastic). A special mention goes to Marc, who served us with great kindness and gave us excellent recommendations. We were so happy to meet someone like him! Thank you for your attention, professionalism, and friendliness. We'll be back soon!

23/01/2026: My friends and I stopped at the Rusty Mackerel for a night on a road trip through north west Ireland, and boy were we impressed! The Rusty Mackerel is THE place to stay and have dinner at if you want a true Irish experience. It was recommended to us by locals and it exceeded our expectations. The vibes are the best, live music, warm and cozy fireplace, kind and welcoming staff, good food, great beer and the rooms are peaceful and quiet. I will be back without a doubt!! You are very close to Slieve League, the hike is easy and will blow your mind! Highly recommend staying at the Rusty Mackerel!

17/11/2025: Had an absolutely great stay at The Cosy Cottage. The food was genuinely amazing — so fresh and full of flavour — and the whole place had such a warm, buzzing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating from start to finish, which made the experience even better. The location is perfect too, just a short stroll from beautiful shore walks with stunning views. Couldn’t recommend it enough — can’t wait to come back!

23/08/2025: This place came up when I searched for nearby places and I immediately liked the photos and it didnt dissapoint, quiet little spot that did nice coffee and a nice slice of cake. Will be going back tomorrow morning for some breakie. Edit: went back for breakfast and was lovely

19/07/2025: We ordered sandwiches for a wedding after party held in town. We thought we left it too late but the staff at the Fisherman's Warf were fantastic and advised on how much we needed for 30 guests. They delivered all the food on time and the sandwiches were delicious! Thank you!
