07/12/2025: Had the most beautiful lunch in Downings Bay twice this week, the food was excellent, it was warm and cosy with lovely friendly staff. I would highly recommend.

15/11/2025: This place suffers from the lack of competition in the area. Staff is ok but lack experience. The same can be said about the food. The best part of my dinner was a pint of Guinness. Soup tasted like a dissolved stock cube, wings tasted just with spices and fish was very oily. At least it wasn't expensive!
This is how a restaurant does when the only competitor is Apache Pizza.

17/01/2026: I have a great stay at this hotel, the room was nice and spacious, the bed was nice and comfortable, as well the stuff was very nice and friendly, as well the food at the restaurant/bar is tasty and delicious, good value for money, definitely recommend this place.

The bathroom lacks a space heater and a towel rack.
It's above the pub, so there's loud music until midnight/1 a.m. If you're looking for a peaceful night, stay somewhere else or bring earplugs.
20/08/2025: We stayed in the rooms above the bar and they are so clean and fresh. Great value

26/09/2025: Had a takeaway from here tonight 😋 It was absolutely gorgeous I had the masu chicken chilli,onion bajais,aloo kerau chapat and pilau rice and peshwari naan. If you order from here you will not be disappointed.
27/08/2025: Really delicious food and excellent service. Would definitely visit again when we come back to the area.

05/06/2025: Went to Inish fushion this evening with family. 04/06/25. Can't fault anything at all with the place. Very quaint and homely. Food was delicious and served by very friendly staff. Great choices on the menu. Definitely worth trying again to test some more desserts😊. Reasonable priced also.

23/12/2025: We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel and the noise from the cars was not great. Not the hotels fault.
20/12/2025: This is our 12th visit to Dillon’s we love it here it’s right in the centre easily accessible to everything. Staff are wonderful and warm. They do great deals on stays. Fabulous scones too 😍 delicious choice for breakfast and newly refurbished. Win win.

14/01/2026: Absolutely miserable environment. Stated as dog friendly but two grumpy locals at the bar asked the barman to request we leave as we had 3 small dogs present. Barman also looks like my toe.
