18/08/2025: We stopped at this food truck by chance. Being Italian, we were a bit prejudiced, but...the pizza was amazing! Very good, and above all, with top-quality ingredients! The pizza chef was super kind and helpful, and he let us know the cooking time right away. Highly recommended! If you see it around, I recommend stopping by! The bar in the back serves drinks: top-notch Guinness!

29/09/2025: Called in here today after a walk in Ards, delighted we did, service, food and atmosphere were fantastic. Darragh was very nice and friendly, talked and made us feel very welcome. Lovely big fire on, place was spotless, toilets were very clean and loads of hand wash and hot water. Will certainly be back and highly recommend this place for food.

04/11/2025: Can only rate the restaurant/pub. We were five people who stayed in the area for a week. Went to the place twice to enjoy some nice and delicious food.Nice and varied choice. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

02/11/2025: Been coming here for years. Never had a bad experience. Great bar food and music. While the rooms are simple they are comfortable. Try to go once a year to Teac Jacks.

09/12/2025: I’ve rated the food highly because I haven’t eaten there so can’t comment. Recently went on a Saturday night when I was back home from London because it had always been a respectable, lovely bar to go to. I wasn’t expecting how much it had changed in that it was extremely overcrowded, the crowd had changed from people having a nice Saturday night out and of course having fun to what seemed to be younger, drunker groups in bus loads from the north. Noticed several girls in the toilets in cubicles all together, I won’t comment on what I think was happening but it was evident they weren’t doing each others hair. The people that were there I’d say ‘before’ were trying to have a good time and the newish groups were more than intoxicated shouting, pushing and just generally making it less enjoyable to be there. I think it’s important to feedback because I didn’t see very much control over the crowd or this situation or the fact that there were far too many people in there. It’s a fine balance between keeping a reputation and getting business I understand however having spoken to people from several towns around since then who all said the same thing, fights have rows have increased there, there’s a new crowd and it’s not the go to place anymore for locals on the weekends and they recommended another local bar. My partner also experienced a racist slur from someone which I wanted to mention as part of the vibe I got from the crowd there but this isn’t the venues fault. I hope the feedback helps steer it back to the fun but safe & enjoyable venue it was before!

30/11/2025: 30-Nov-2025: had lunch today. Staff as excellent as ever. Food was really good. Note: The specials board never includes prices; it really should. Downside to my visit was a table with around 5 kids who were allowed to wander around the restaurant shouting at each other; climbing on the back of the partitions, and whacking christmas decorations with a pen. Their mothers sat there chatting, not caring about other customers having their lunch. A staff member did at one stage ask a little boy to go back to his table, but he was up and about again in 5 minutes. Overall, I do enjoy the restaurant and will return occasionally. Nice staff, and comfortable surroundings. Had the Roast Beef lunch special. Would probably revisit when I'm Carndonagh again. Its been a while since my last visit. Standards are still high. Just had the full Irish breakfast here today. Really tasty and filling. Good value for money. Sunday 3-Mar-2024 UPDATED: Phoned today around 11:45am to ask what time they started serving lunch, only to be told by the young lady, after she asked another staff member, that they don't serve lunch on a Sunday. Doesn't sound like a good business model. Came to Google to update my review only to find another review giving feedback on their lunch last Sunday!

30/09/2025: Great hotel! Rooms were clean and seemed to have been updated recently. The breakfast was amazing and really well presented (see photos). Location was an easy 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars / center of town. Would stay here again.

06/12/2025: Keep in mind the indoor seating is very small and is a bit hard to use recommend the wedges and chicken there's a right wide variety of drinks and it was actually quite nice

15/11/2025: Went for a quick eat while on the road. We were all blown away by how good the burgers and chips were, really recommend. The pub opposite lets you eat the food in there too.
