20/02/2026: First time visit. Excellent ambiance and great experience. Very friendly staff. Food was incredible and OREO was superb 👌. 💯 recommended. Mark and Tracy both are very friendly and great service.
11/02/2026: Visited here on Saturday. Great food and service topped off by a fantastic manager - think his name is Mark - such a charming guy and very appreciative of every customer that walked in the door. He is such an assets to the place . Thanks again.

14/01/2026: Great Pizzas and garlic bread. Generous toppings and the food was really hot. We were staying at a place that was about a 10min drive away and the food was still very hot by the time we sat down to eat.

19/11/2025: The Salty fox is on the way up to Tullan Strand. They do a lovely breakfast and lunch.
There toasties are very tasty and served with a small side salad with some crisps great if you have been walking and you feel hungry. The staff are really nice and make you feel so welcome. If your up that way you should give it a try once you have been you will want to go back.

27/01/2026: Absolutely loved our stay here, Joan and Erin were lovely to deal with at reception especially since we arrived quite late at night. Had great chats with Paddy in the cosy bar and fantastic service from Eve our morning witness who was delightful to talk to. Rooms were spotless and it was difficult to pull ourselves out of that comfortable bed. Staff all made us feel welcome and was a very comfortable stay. Would absolutely recommend and definitely go again. Thank you all

18/12/2025: Food was fine so far, service was friendly.
The Night after eating the Veggiburger i got a strong foodpoisening. Can not say a 100% it was the food, but i did not eat much more that day. I rang them, they where pritty friendly, and said they checked everything. Would have been nice to get at least the money back from the one Menue, no matter where the poisening came from.

08/01/2026: I went to the highlands hotel quite a few times now for my work travelling. Staff are really friendly and nice. Room is decent and comfortable. As a French guy maybe I have really high standards for food but drinks and starters and mains are really good (thaï curry is average, should remove it from menu). Desserts are mid for my opinion it’s a shame but overall very nice hotel and experience.
