The best restaurants in Donegal

23/10/2025: The place is very well located. We really liked the overall decor internally. It was bright and sunny while we were there, so we really liked hanging out. We ordered burger, wrap, and a salad. The salad was really delicious and very very healthy. I want to highly recommend it to anyone visiting here (especially if you are vegetarian). The wrap was also good !! The burger was okayish - it was too sweet because of the relish. Maybe it’s a personal preference thing !! The staff were nice and friendly, however, another small feedback is regarding providing drinking water to the guests :) Not deducting any star for these small things 😅 Because we enjoyed being there. Thanks You - will visit again 🙌🙏

14/10/2025: Great little coffee shop. We came in just before closing and they still took our order. The hot chocolates were delicious and not too sweet. The lemon cake was very tasty as well. We spoke to 3 different staff and they were all very friendly.

05/11/2025: Anderson Boathouse is very small restaurant with overpriced food. The owner is very rude and arrogant with a very bad attitude. The night that we went to the Boathouse it was way overcrowded with tables so close together you was practically touching each other. The noise was so loud the night we went there it was like being at a pub with a football match. It was so bad I had to leave. Anderson Boathouse was the worst experience that I have ever had and we will never return. My advise is stay away from this restaurant.

25/10/2025: It's a cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is excellent. They have a very varied menu with vegan and vegetarian options. Their food is full of flavor and character. The customer service is magnificent and impeccable; all the waiters are very polite and attentive. The only downside is that the bathrooms aren't as clean as I expected. The upstairs part of the cafeteria is quite neglected, unlike the downstairs. Otherwise, everything is fantastic: tasty and delicious food, a variety of dishes, good customer service, and well-maintained downstairs, except for the bathrooms. The price is very good for the quality of the food. If you have the opportunity to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner here, I highly recommend it.

01/11/2025: When visiting family in Derry. We always go to the Harbour Inn for food. Food is always A1. Staff are lovely Highly recommend

01/11/2025: We stayed as a family for Halloween 2025 and it was perfect. We had room 236, right at the front, with views across the Lough, and two separate rooms, ideal for a family. Breakfast was cooked to order with a pancake machine for the kids. Would 100% recommend and will be back again.

10/09/2025: Been dying to get here, and I wasn't disappointed. Sheila and the whole team we're so welcoming. From tea, scones and pancakes on arrival in front of the fire to a glorious room with a 4 poster bed. The food was exceptional, can't wait to go back. I'll be back 😉

24/10/2025: Visit Marina Cafe today, great service, staff were super friendly and efficient. Food was fabulous we had the Chicken Goujons which came with chips and a beautiful salad. Highly recommend this cafe, you must stop if your in Killybegs. Keep up the great work, I will definately be returning, Thank you

16/09/2025: Visited today 16/9/25, Keith the bartender was amazing to talk to. Tunes were pumping with a great atmosphere. We highly recommend the seafood chowder.

31/10/2025: I was in the lobster pot in September, I was so happy with it I came from Kildare to visit it again it's so good, it's beyond good it's super excellent if that's a word, my wife was really impressed with it, it's very good quality food and service, I think some restaurants probably have more staff and can't serve the quality of food we received, it's really great and is well worth a visit,

02/10/2025: One of the best decaf coffees i have ever had. Didnt need any syrup or sugar. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Cant wait to come back and try the food
