24/03/2024: Danny Minnies hosted us for a work event recently, and it was honestly such a lovely experience. The staff are so friendly and very welcoming. They invite you to sit in front of a gorgeous open fire, and you look over the menu while enjoying your first drink of the evening. When your first course is ready, they seat you down at your table which was a fantastic way to do it. We had a group of 10ppl and they were so great dealing with so many of us. Every course was gorgeous - the table was silent at times we were so invested in our food! The place is absolutely gorgeous, and would be a beautiful spot for couples to go for a weekend getaway. Danny Minnies was an absolute treat to experience - couldn't recommend the place enough!

24/03/2024: We were staying at an air bnb near this restaurant and decided to eat here for dinner and it did not disappoint. We didn't have a reservation, but they fit us in anyway. The canapés on arrival were a great touch. The dinner was gorgeous and the staff were so nice. Definitely recommend.

11/03/2024: A little bit of heaven in the heart of the lovely Glenties. Fabulous food, excellent service. So looking forward to our upcoming big day. The hotel has been so accommodating to all our requests. An excellent choice for so many different occasions

29/03/2024: We discovered this precious gem walking by Donegal Bay just after parking our car. We had a wonderful savoury meal for our family of four! Our host Jo, was so delightful and helpful that we naturally chose food that was full of flavour and very satious. We highly recommend: grilled goat's cheese salad, smoked salmon arancini, king prawn gratin, quay west signature killybegs smokies and parmagiana chicken. Our desserts were spectacular, being: the "infamous" crunchy dessert and the chocolate and almond vegan brownie. All were equally delicious and very well presented. The wine list was sufficiently varied and not too extreme in value. We were sad not to see any Portuguese wine - our personal bias ... Indeed the professionalism and positive energy of the staff was heartwarming. We felt privileged to see the beautiful view of the harbour from the upper level of this very elegant and confortable restaurant.

29/03/2024: Great food and atmosphere. For breakfast, be sure to get there early because it's an understandably popular place with a great view.

23/03/2024: Great cafe with a beautiful view of the countryside. We had cappucino and large, very tasty scones. It has vegetarian and vegan options.

27/03/2024: Had a good dinner. The service was OK. Two waitresses to serve the whole place. But all in all, it was good.

03/04/2024: Myself and my partner ate here for the first time and the service we received from entering to leaving was amazing. The food was sooooooo delicious. Staff where so friendly and couldn't do enough, credit to the head chef who we also chatted to lovely English guy. Great place and I defo will be returning which is about a 50 minute drive from where we live to the restaurant. We will be recommending to friend and family to also come and try.

04/04/2024: Great service and very tasty food. The live music was provided by an old boy accompanied by a violin, not quite the " band" we were expecting, but a great night was had by all anyway!

28/02/2024: Best pizza in the North West, at least the north west!!

20/01/2024: We were a party of 8 people, we ordered a takeaway, expensive takeaway for the quality we received. Pizzas were just warm, chips were poor and burned, burgers were also too well done and burned. Sorry to be honest but terrible.

13/03/2024: The prawn salad that i came back for time and time again now seems to have been replaced with a prawn cocktail. Very sad.

11/03/2024: The atmosphere is amazing and everything is clean. The staff is kind and polite and the dishes are fresh and excellent. We hope to get back again! ☺️❤️
