27/02/2025: One friend got turkey and ham but ham was just one slice if packet ham for the price of the dinner it should have been boiled ham and food all around just wasn't as good as it normally is bit disappointing on the day

17/08/2025: The Curry Cottage is a bustling little jewel of a restaurant in Stranorlar. The waiters are really lovely. The food is simply delicious and we were all delighted with our meals. I had the chicken Jalfrezi special and it was yum. Spicy enough without been too hot. The good thing is that the food is consistently good, in the 3+ years that we have been going there. We'll definitely be returning.

19/08/2025: Probably the coolest Irish pub I've ever been to and I've been to a lot. Doesn't get much better than this.

27/08/2025: We came for pizza, but there weren't any available that day. The waitresses are friendly. The food is good and plentiful. The dishes are rich in savory and sweet ingredients. There's a parking lot across the street with plenty of spaces. The prices are reasonable and affordable. The establishment is clean and well-maintained.

21/08/2025: Whilst visiting the area and trying to accommodate all members of our family dietary requirements I give the Galley a little phone call to enquire about gluten free options The lady on the phone was very knowledgable So we got showered up and in we went We were delighted with the service from a lovely group of girls out holding the front of the restaurant 12” hot and spicy gluten free pizza was ordered and it didn’t disappoint she was delighted with it l. The garlic mayo is delicious also But she could of had gf burgers with wedges, warm chicken salad lots to choose from Also we ordered a few more pizzas pepperoni and the barbecue chicken and bacon pizza were so tasty (picture attached ) Cajun chicken burgers & chips yummy After an active day on the beach we were well ready to eat and the food was unreal Clean plates all around Thank you to all the staff in the Galley for accommodating gluten free choices and for a lovely meal

15/08/2025: Great experience, one of the best cheese toasties ever... Staff very helpful and went the extra mile, and not just for us, others had questions and requests and the staff helped them just as quickly...

15/08/2025: Stopped in after a local walk for an iced coffee on a warm day. Lovely place to sit. We sat outside with the dog in the shade and it was lovely!

23/08/2025: This place came up when I searched for nearby places and I immediately liked the photos and it didnt dissapoint, quiet little spot that did nice coffee and a nice slice of cake. Will be going back tomorrow morning for some breakie. Edit: went back for breakfast and was lovely

19/07/2025: We ordered sandwiches for a wedding after party held in town. We thought we left it too late but the staff at the Fisherman's Warf were fantastic and advised on how much we needed for 30 guests. They delivered all the food on time and the sandwiches were delicious! Thank you!

03/09/2025: Amazing seafood cooked by fab chefs. Had outstanding mussels and a really good seafood gratin. Really recommend. Family friendly.

26/08/2025: We stayed in the Motorhome pitches in August 2025. I highly recommend this stopover. Nice local pub the owner gave us a lot Of tips on where to visit - What a legend!

16/06/2025: Great pub with a cozy atmosphere. Has that old time feel. Friendly staff and a reat bar for traditional Irish music (Mondays and Fridays). Has a pizza restaurant out back called The Rusty Oven that has the best pizzas. Dog friendly. Highly recommend this spot.

15/08/2025: Had my wedding here on the 23rd of August 2024. It was a very small event with less than 7 people. We didn't make a big deal of it, however, the hotel and manager did, they set up the room and the front of the hotel like it was big wedding event and we where so happy with how they treated us. They really made everything so good and special for us on that day. We will never forget. We visit the hotel every year now when we visit our house In dunree. It's a special place for us.
