26/04/2025: Nothing to say, except……. Superb. Always good.

27/02/2025: One friend got turkey and ham but ham was just one slice if packet ham for the price of the dinner it should have been boiled ham and food all around just wasn't as good as it normally is bit disappointing on the day

12/07/2025: This is my third time here and what a great wee find it was. Had coffee and scones on this occasion and bought really good. The young girl who served us was excellent and very friendly.

09/05/2025: It's a small cosy cafe we see while we were driving from Letterkenny, Ireland to see Glenveagh Castle. Only 2 persons can sit inside. There is ome sitting arrangements in the garden outside. But since it was raining that day so we bought coffee and sandwich and sat in our car. Coffee was very nice. Sandwich and Focaccia bread with olives were super tasty. It's not a posh place but if you are like us who love cosy cafes that serve homemade freshly baked items, then you must try this 🙂

22/06/2025: Just back home from here. Place is unreal, will definitely be back. Staff were amazing specially Keith and wee Ellie.. live music last night was amazing place was buzzing. Met the most loveliest people and their dog well known dog there our wee joker lol. If they see this hopefully get in contact.. thank use so much for an amazing stay felt so welcomed and beds were amazing lol

20/06/2025: So we picked this place because it’s dog friendly. On arrival we went into the bar and was escorted to our studio by a very helpful member of staff. We had studio 1 which was on the ground floor which was ideal for us. Big spacious room with a double and single beds, a small kitchenette and a big bathroom. We were only staying for one night but it would be ideal if you were staying longer in the area. In the evening we went across the road for food as the kitchen wasn’t serving but returned to the bar for the evening. Not very busy but busy enough for a week night. The barman was polite and friendly and we had a nice evening. Definitely a place we will stay in again.

05/07/2025: Absolutely lovely pizza in a lovely little pizzeria. Nice little seating area.

29/06/2025: Some very nice pizza. Very small sitting area not a eat in type place more set up for take away. But recommended.

12/07/2025: One of the best gluten free sandwiches that I’ve ever tried! Worth the visit and the view 🫶🏻

02/07/2025: We loved our breakfast at Tank and Skinny‘s. We had an avocado sourdough bread with a poached egg and a veggie full Irish plus two power porridges and two cappuccinos. The food was really good. The service was unfortunately a little slow and could have been more attentive.

09/07/2025: A lovely local bar, a few minutes walk from the nearby hotel. Worth stopping by.

16/06/2025: Great pub with a cozy atmosphere. Has that old time feel. Friendly staff and a reat bar for traditional Irish music (Mondays and Fridays). Has a pizza restaurant out back called The Rusty Oven that has the best pizzas. Dog friendly. Highly recommend this spot.

02/06/2025: The space has distinct bars, connected by an indoor enclosed patio and alley, with live music cast to TVs throughout the space. They kick you out promptly at closing time though.

04/05/2025: I'm giving this a four stars..look the food overall is really great with a few minor niggles...there was an unevenness in portion sizes. I enjoyed a huge wonderfully cooked Turbot fillet ..but my dining pals dishes, though very tasty, were a bit mean sized.. especially the sea trout. While the veg accompaniments were plentiful and also overall tasty, the red cabbage offering was a colorful but bland tasting and added nothing other than a splash of color. The variant dauphinoise were yummy but the young spuds were a tad wet. The service was welcoming and familiar at the outset as we enjoyed pre dinner drinks in a comfy lounge before dinner..after that the service slipped. We had at least four different people attend our table during the night..with some pros and a few cons...at the end of the evening it would have been nice if one of the staff would be assigned to ensuring a thanks and goodbye...it would be a welcome touch.. after all.. while we found the prices generally reasonable for the quality of food it was not a cheap night out. So overall I would come back for the food but there is a need to tweak and improve on some details , notably on the service front and then this place would truly shine. I should add, the potentially kitsch faux castle interior somehow works and makes for a cozy and comfortable restaurant setting. Very nice.

04/07/2025: A warm welcome, acknowledgement from a barman busy with other things. The host squeezed us into a corner table despite us not having made a reservation and the night continued in a similar positive way. Great service, great food and the best Guiness - what's not to love!

12/05/2025: Amazing meal at Sister Sara's on Friday night. Food was truly first class, great selection of drinks including cocktails and the staff were lovely. Nice modern area downstairs and the bar is stunning giving a great vibe. Would 100% recommend to anyone in or nearby Letterkenny to give it ago - we will be back soon
