14/06/2025: Lovely pint of Guinness, and they allow dogs inside, almost unheard of in Ireland. I don't know why such a dog loving country is so anti-dog in their pubs

07/06/2025: Omg is there a over 5star rating that i could give to this cafe...Oh my god the food is so so so tasty...I wish they open a cafe soon in letterkenny ..i have gone literally crazy for their food.. we were visiting errigal zoo and wanted to visit a cafe to eat something and stopped here and i think that was the best ever decision... we ordered kfc tenders the tenders are so crispy so tasty well cooked even their chips were so yummy.. and their garlic mayo ..the yummiest mayo i had in my life so smooth so delicious.. Fish and chips were also so good... I think everyone should visit this place...❤️ Last Fionnuala she is so welcoming so calm so down to earth..such a sweet spokeperson.. pls open a cafe in letterkenny soon 😅

22/06/2025: Awesome cafe with great vegetarian options to choose from. Tried the veggie burger and the quinoa salad. Both were amazing. Lots of good options for kids to choose from. Mine tried the waffles and was happy with it mostly due to the maple syrup that came with it. Service is quick and the servers are all smiling which makes you feel welcomed. Finally, seemed like a busy place. We were there at 1pm Saturday and still it was full. We did get the table in a few minutes though.

18/05/2025: One of the best restaurants we visited on our entire trip to Ireland. I can't recommend this place enough if you are a vegetarian! The shepardless pie was amazing! The sweet potato salad was great as well. I really appreciated the large selection of local craft beer.

It’s not a real vacation unless we’ve had at least one meal (usually several!) at Charlie’s. The food? Absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and always hits the spot. The portions are generous (no one leaves hungry!), the cakes are homemade and heavenly, and the coffee? Strong and perfect – just what you need after a Donegal walk or drive. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the staff makes you feel like family – always smiling, helpful, and up for a friendly chat. Charlie's is more than just a cafe – it's a place with heart. 13/05/2025: The girls and I visited The Ubiquitous Restaurant Buncrana on the busy May bank holiday, and it was an absolutely fab experience from start to finish. Despite being quite busy, the atmosphere was great, had an amazing buzz, and the staff couldn’t have been better, they were very attentive, friendly, and super welcoming. The food was to die for, very well done, really good quality, generous portions, plus such good value for money. The cocktails were easily the best I’ve had in town. Really excited to go back for literally any occasion I can—highly recommended!

25/05/2025: Astoundingly good. Superb dining experience, staff are excellent and the food is exceptional. This is not a place to go for ‘ordinary’ food, it is really fine dining done very well. Small wine selection but perfectly chosen to match the food. An unexpected gem of a restaurant which we will return to. Brilliant, well done.

10/06/2025: A really lively meal, good sizportions too. The Sirlion on hot skillet with stir-fried vegetables delicious. Goats cheese and chicken and pesto was a strange combination, especially with BBQ sauce over it!

14/06/2025: Fantastic place. The best steak I ever had. That cheese cake was delicious 😋. Staff So So Nice I think you should pay Staff more money. It was my last Hotel stay on a Mizen Head to Malin along the Wild Atlantic Way. What a fantastic Hotel stay to finish a fab road trip over 2000 miles round trip.

15/06/2025: Overall a really pleasant experience. The food tasted nice and all the service was good. Atmosphere felt good and was the perfect vibe for a Sunday afternoon. We had a little wait when entering whilst a few staff members walked straight past. Only after the third we were offered a table. Not a problem, just being our first visit we didn't know the protocol... It's good quality food, cooked well, but boy do you pay for it. Would recommend

17/06/2025: We visited the restaurant and were delighted! 🍽️ I really liked everything - delicious food, large portions, after which you definitely won't be hungry. The atmosphere is cozy, the interior is stylish and thought out to the smallest detail - it's nice to be inside. A separate plus is the convenient location, easy to find and get to. I definitely recommend it, we will come back more than once! 🌟
