10/06/2025: Popped in Great food, had JR burger lovely staff. Gave two stars for atmosphere as it was early but sure it's great when busy. Will be back. Oh and the homemade Bonoffi pie was to die for😋

07/06/2025: Everything was wonderful from the welcoming greeting, fantastic service, amazing food, lovely atmosphere, to the pleasant good byes. I have been several times and never once disappointed. I would recommend this place any day!

03/04/2025: Another great dinner. Set menu for mothers day. Prawns to start, turkey and ham dinner, and apple pie for dessert. All beautiful. Service was friendly and attentive..as always.

20/06/2025: We were passing through yesterday and stopped in just before closing time. Picked up a cake package (croissant, Florentine, and a piece of macadamia) and were given some more treats. All the pastries tasted delicious. We were delighted by the friendly service and, of course, the cake 😁🍰😁

06/04/2025: My husband and I stayed here this weekend as we were attending a family wedding in Downings. The hotel had a lovely warm, friendly atmosphere from the minute we arrived! We had food in the bar and it was really good. Breakfast the following morning was also very good and had a great selection! The rooms are lovely with good big bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The staff in the Carrigart Hotel are outstanding and it is genuinely the best customer service we have experienced in any hotel we have stayed in. The waitress in the bar was amazing and so welcoming and friendly to us. The manager is an absoloute lady and couldn't do enough for us, from late checkout to offering to leave us down to the wedding venue!!! I will definitely be returning to this hotel and would highly recommend.

24/03/2025: Came here on the 24th as a couple, just passing through and called in for a bite to eat. Served by Mary who was a lovely hostess. I went for the chicken curry with chunky chips and better half went for scampi and garlic potatoes. The two meals were beautiful. If I had to be a little disappointed, it would be that the portions of rice was small as you can see from the photo. I’d certainly recommend this hotel for a feed.

21/06/2025: What a gem in Donegal! We were greeted with genuine smiles and the staff make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in. Their cinnamon buns are absolutely divine - warm, gooey, and perfectly spiced - while their cookies are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The combination of outstanding baked goods and incredibly friendly service makes this place a must-visit!

22/05/2025: A gem of a bakery where their scrumptious baked treats are sold out quickly! It's a warm and friendly environment with lovely staff serving some of the best baked goods in Donegal Town.

26/06/2025: We stayed in joyce’s lodge. We were surprised when we checked in to our room, definitely didn’t expect it to be that good for the price we paid. Very clean very cosy and i would definitely recommend it to anyone. Great experience

22/06/2025: We stayed at the accommodation for one night. The rooms are located above a pub and are spacious and clean. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby.

07/07/2025: We went to Bella Vista for dinner this evening and I wish we'd tried it sooner because it was absolutely beautiful! A brilliant spot with great views of the beach and dunes, it has a lovely atmosphere and a menu with lots of good options (we're vegetarian and were spoilt for choice!) The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely gorgeous: we shared a garlic pizza bread for starters and it was enough for the 4 of us as a starter. I then had the pasta arrabiata for mains bc it's my absolute favourite, and it was quite possibly the best version of the dish I've ever had anywhere - so rich but light at the same time, with so much flavour and the right pasta to sauce ratio. I cleaned the plate and would go back tomorrow to get it again if we weren't leaving Bundoran. My family had pizza which they very much enjoyed, and we shared some lovely chips which were skin-on and very roastie-esque, which we all loved. I'm just sorry I didn't have room for dessert as I imagine it would've been of the same beautiful quality. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough - I wish we'd tried it as soon as we got here, as we wouldn't have been out of it! The staff were cheerful and accommodating, and clearly the kitchen staff are just as talented. Looking forward to our next visit to Bella Vista next time we're in Bundoran.

07/07/2025: A wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view of the ocean. The pasta, salad, and calzones are delicious. There is kids menu, and I highly recommend trying the hot chocolate with liqueur, which is absolutely incredible.

12/07/2025: Called here Friday when out on a motorbike trip. First class setting with brilliant staff. Had pint and meal all excellent would definitely recommend this place

27/06/2025: We visit this diner now know as mountain top diner most Saturdays as a family and regularly at other times. It's a great meeting point, great parking, family friendly, good food and plenty of choice. The staff are helpful and friendly. It is always very clean. I would highly recommend this for good food at affordable price

17/06/2025: This bar is truly special! It has such an authentic Irish bar feel, and I was so warmly welcomed by everyone I met! I miss them all so very much! I even got to meet the owner and he was super welcoming as well! I had an absolutely fantastic time and can't wait to go back!

20/04/2025: Nice enough bar but clean robbery. Bought 3 drinks (the exact same drink everytime) and the price of my drink increased everytime. Started at €12.50 and by the third drink it was €14.50. Daylight robbery, €12.50/14.50 for one drink is an absolute joke, €45 odds for 3 drinks. Joke

25/10/2024: Excellent meal & excellent service. I ordered a rare steak & wow I’m a steak lover but this was exceptional. Salad, baby potatoes, sautéed onions along with a glass of Merlot. I don’t often eat alone but was made to feel very welcome & comfortable. Unable to finish meal but have lunch sorted for tomorrow! Top class, thank you to the chef Gregory and waiting staff. A special thanks to Silvane, she has the X factor!

21/10/2024: This was an unbelievably very good restaurant. Heading into winter on the West Coast of Ireland, the food, the service, and the atmosphere including the playlist was simply sublime. I’m not being paid to write this review, but it was probably one of the best meals I have eaten out in a very long time. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour; from the steak to the asparagus to the potatoes, bread and peppercorn sauce I don’t think I have tasted better.
