12/06/2026: We enjoyed two nights at this wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly and capable, the food is very good and the room comfortable.

29/06/2026: A stop at Killybegs on a Cruise. Ahoy Cafec was very busy so we had to wait a long time for the food. However the staff were incredibly friendly, the Chowder was delicious and packed full of different sea food and the Fish Goujons were amazing. There may be better options for a wider range of Sea Food in Killybegs, however not all places are open every day. No idea if the wait is common, but we were in no rush and the food was worth it.

26/06/2026: Very disappointed. Not the first time having to wait 30 minutes for food. €14 for the breakfast hash which was 3 small chopped potatoes covered with a bag of rocket and 2 eggs, all cold and bland. Table wasn't wiped down from last customers and alot of flies in the toilets. Won't be back, not The Ahoy of old.

28/04/2026: Didn't stick around long as we only collected our order but the food was great the pizzas were done very quickly, considering we ordered when we got into the carpark. Lovely service people were very friendly and welcoming.

15/04/2026: Dominos in letterkenny is pretty good. I really value the fact that the place is consistent with it's food and the delivery times are fairly fast. As a chef myself, I'm extremely hypercritical when it comes to matters of food hygiene and I've never had any "red flags" raised when I'm picking up my order. We make an order once every 2 weeks and never had to return anything or had an order arrive incorrectly. Only ever had an issue once and it was rectified quickly and professionally. So honestly, you can't really go wrong here. In terms of pizza, it's on point! I might add by the way, the delivery driver, Aidan/Aiden is genuinely one of the nicest delivery drivers I've ever come across. Always a positive experience with him and he's super friendly and genuine every single time he's the one delivering our food. 10/10 on that as well

02/02/2026: Papa Johns has NEVER disappointed me. It is my favourite brand of pizza. I am willing to drive an hour currently, just to treat myself to Papa Johns. I love it! I told my partner that my ideal wedding would feature Papa Johns as the main menu, lol

19/09/2025: I had such a great experience ! The burger was fresh and delicious, full of flavour, and the shawarma was juicy and so yummy. My son is usually very picky with food, but even he loved it .and that says a lot! The whole family enjoyed the meal. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend! The best think I like as mom ,the kitchen and the shop is very clean, normally I do t eat outside but I really love to eat or order from here 😁

15/07/2025: Hello. We’d like to share our disappointing experience at your café. We approached a staff member (not sure if they were a cashier or a waiter) to ask about the price of the tiramisu. Unfortunately, they didn’t know and just ran off saying “one moment” — we ended up waiting for about three minutes while they were gone. Eventually, they came back and told us it was €3 for a portion of tiramisu served in a plastic container, around 200 grams. Sadly, the dessert was very disappointing: it was hard in texture, had an overpowering smell of alcohol, and the taste was unpleasant — we couldn’t finish it and had to throw it away. Moreover, no one told us if we were allowed to sit anywhere, so we ended up eating on a worn-out bench in the shopping centre. We also had to ask for spoons separately. Overall, there was no proper service and the quality of the food was extremely poor.

08/08/2025: While on our honeymoon in Ireland, Ireland by Bike suggested we dine at Yellow Pepper. So glad we did, the atmosphere is so cozy, the food was amazing. We had the opportunity to meet the owner Kieran who is a gem! Chris and Kerrilee

05/08/2025: Visited Letteykenny in Ireland for a short break, had seen reviews. Definitely have to book so popular. Lovely options to choose from. Decided to go straight to the main, I had the lamb shank special of the day, The lamb just fell off the bone, buttery mash with good selection of vegetables, some as purée,and a tasteful jus to bring it all together. My husband had the cod with fish pie, a beautiful chunky piece, definitely a hot pie with creamy mash. Both our plates were completely cleaned. I had the meringue with fresh fruit and compote, meringue crispy and chewy just the way it should be. A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff were very attentive and polite. Very good value as well. Would definitely recommend The Yellow.Pepper

25/11/2025: Ate dinner here while we were staying at the hotel and we had a fab meal. All of the food was tasty and we would recommend the Prawn and Salmon Starter, Sausages and Mash and Seafood Linguini. Also it was great to try a few cocktails from the menu which was quite extensive and reasonably priced drinks. It was a family member's birthday the night we ate here and the team all got involved in bringing out the cake and singing happy birthday which was a lovely touch and really appreciated.

06/07/2026: My first acai bowl and might be the best one ! All the fruits et toppings were delicious ! The mocha was really good ! And the owner offered us an extra cookie, that was so kind ! Highly recommended!!

06/07/2026: Very nice experience everything was delicious. The owner is very gentle and nice. The mocha was very good. Acai was delicious, the best so far (even tho Acushla's at croach patrick was very good). Keep up the good work ! 🤤😸
