06/09/2025: We ordered steak, seafood chowder, seafood platter, 4.5 Guinness, lemon meringue and 2 Irish coffee for around €150. Fantastic value for money given the cosy venue and food was genuinely delicious. Definitely worth a visit as part of your trip to Donegal Town!

13/11/2025: Greet wee Mexican takeaway and cafe in Letterkenny. Nice art work and decorating. Parking is not that easy unless you know the town. It's a highlight of a generally insignificant town.

09/10/2025: First time trying this place - we are visiting from Bangor Co.Down. My husband and I got a Burger each and a large chip to share. All I can say is wow! Burgers were lovely and the chip was huge, we couldn't finish it all. We got our food for takeaway along with a drink each and 3 dips all for just over €20. Brilliant value for money, friendly staff. Will definitely call in again when we are next in the area.

10/07/2025: We stopped at this lovely spot on our little road trip around the Atlantic way, it was a brilliant find. It looked so interesting from outside. The purple building with the craft stall, and sign with frieda kahla. We had two dogs with us and we were allowed to sit outside with them. We were welcomed by the lovely owner, who promptly told us there were fresh scones out of the oven and she had made apple and plum cake fresh that day. We were surprised the menu was vegetarian, but it was not a problem. The food was absolutely delicious!! I got the cheese and onion panini and it had mustard and relish and was so delicious. The cake was phenomenal! I also had a mocha. And it was the best I’d had this whole week! The stall out the front sells the owners crafts, there is lovely adult and children’s clothes. I got a dress for my niece and an apron for myself. I can’t wait to go back on our yearly visit to Downings!

15/08/2025: Wow, our expectations were more than exceeded. We received a very warm welcome and immediately felt at home. Choosing what to eat was quite difficult because there were so many delicious dishes to choose from. We opted for the Classic Burger and the Hot Rub Chicken Escalope, along with chips and garlic potatoes. The portions were really large, so we ended up sharing a sticky toffee pudding. Our conclusion: great food at fair prices, and the staff were cheerful and very accommodating. Thank you for a great evening.

02/08/2025: This review is for the restaurant, as Google only lists the inn as a hotel. The food is great, especially the steak, which was perfect—the best ribs I've ever had, and for a starter and so cheap, I should have ordered it three times. Absolutely worth it.
