31/07/2026: Very traditional pub from 1917- friendly barman. Had soup when food opened at 3pm. Very tasty vegetable broth for 7 euro but it only came with half a slice of wheaten. It’s only a small point but takes away from the beautiful soup. Full slice and you’d feel less hard done by

18/07/2026: Chips Taste reheated and pizza was a frozen pizza from lidil was very expensive no prices shown on menu .

27/01/2026: I'd never eat out of this place again🤮🤮 Yer man was making my burger and the one half the bun fell on the floor,He picked it up and was gonna put it on the burger but i was watching him and then he started acting all apologetic,Discusting..imagine if he put the bun on the burger..absolutley discusting this place should be shut down!!

15/08/2026: Food was v greasy. One part of order was missing but we had travelled on before we realised. Scampi was ordered but received fish bites and ordered chips with gravy and received chips in curry sauce ( which as it turned out ended up being nicest part of meal). Very disappointing.

20/05/2026: Good hotel, well located. Breakfast costs €16 but it's worth it; just don't leave it until the last minute, you might find there are things missing.

My family and myself ate there today and all I can say as a chef myself this quality of food NEVER wouldn't of been given to any of our customers, chicken was like eating rubber ,sauce 'what sauce ?? Garlic chips i think i got 6 if at that chips !! ,the rest was hard bits .My other half got pulled pork loaded "bbq" fries . No bbq sauce at all,only dry pork and cheese . Will never be back . Oh and no head chef/2nd chef and yes I get that they need a day off!! But i wasnt even asked did I want to speak to the cooks in there 🤔. Sorry but its an honest take from me and my families experience

17/03/2026: My experience wasn’t good the room looked ok but the smell was horrendous like a wet mop that hasn’t been cleaned for a long time couldn’t sleep with the smell I was booked for 3 nights but I only stayed 2 the breakfast was ok bit small the bathroom was awful both taps running hot water no cold water couldn’t brush my till I had to buy bottled water terrible experience I would never recommend this place to anyone won’t be back

23/08/2026: Worst McDonald's in the country by a mile, never put sauces in bag reusing left over food from day before, can tell by taste and texture, most incompetent staff I think I've ever seen work in a place. How is it I know why to put in someone's bag who's in front of me in the line but the staff still can't figure it out.

22/08/2026: Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. There's always something missing from my order, most recently a burger and a fish burger. Today the orders were inconsistent, and one burger had a hair in it! 🤮 I will never order anything from here again. Please clean up this mess.

13/08/2026: Quality of the food is always on point. The staff are all very friendly, diligent and very accommodating when it comes to wanting to customise orders or individual needs. I’m usually there after work just before or when waiting on a bus home, the staff are always efficient at getting orders out quickly if needs be. Can’t speak too much on the atmosphere as I’m usually there for a quick grab and go or a preorder but the staff all seem to get on and it’s a comfortable environment to enjoy your food

20/07/2026: It was nice enough, originally they put way too much sauce / slaw in my kebab , but I brought it up and they were happy to change it straight away. The staff are very nice here, I didn’t feel akward asking to change the kebab . The second kebab was better the meat was lovely. But I’m extremely particular with kebabs cos I owned a kebab shop.

15/08/2026: I'm traveling from Italy, and this place was a pleasant surprise. We ordered takeout. The portions and quality of the food were truly excellent! The owner even gave us some (free) additions, which were much appreciated. If you're traveling or just passing through, this place is highly recommended.
