10/08/2025: Family run supermarket ,Full variety of groceries,deli+hot food, fresh meat+veg suitable for self-catering needs while on holiday.

19/08/2025: Good quality food if a bit overpriced. Charging for poppadoms abit much considering every other Indian restaurants gives them free!!, busy, booking important.

07/06/2025: Usually best cafe around with good staff and service.Food also excellent. However 2 younger staff members today leave much to be desired .Was totally ignored for 30 minutes or more.Cafe not very busy.Male staff member more interested in talking to others about sale of cafe and served others who arrived after me whom he probilily knew Poor staff members both .Did not order Moved to another cafe.

21/08/2025: Dirty. Dated. Disappointed. I had high hopes for this hotel. The rooms are dated. The mattresses needed replaced ten years ago. There was a blood stain on one of our pillows. Mold on the shower caulk. Room was stuffy but if you opened a window in would bellow cigarette smoke. We moved rooms. Second room was better but it faced the area of the kitchen exhaust fan so we smell of fried chips all night. The only thing that it has going for them was the staff was super accommodating and the location. The breakfast was subpar. Did not eat dinner here. If you’re looking for something close to the center of Donegal then this is it if you can handle the noise and smells. Otherwise, find somewhere else.

28/06/2025: Can be hit and miss here. Sometimes the food is great and other times your sorry you've went. Recently had a burger from here that was quite nice. However the kebab in a small pitta pocket was pretty miserable.

18/08/2025: We ordered a prawn biryani and a sag paneer for takeaway. Maybe bad luck in our choices but both dishes were different than what we have tried in multiple places, even in India - the sag paneer tasted ok but the biryani was very bland. Edit: owner replied to review saying this is a Bangladeshi restaurant so my experience in India would be comparable - when I went to this restaurant it was advertised as an Indian restaurant, including multiple “Best Indian restaurant in Ireland” awards.

13/08/2025: Had lunch here. I had the mushroom vol au vent. The pastry case seemed stale and the side salad had wilted due to the warm sauce. Chips were tasteless and obviously the really cheap type. My friend had burger which again was tasteless and had no lettuce or tomato and her fries were bland too. When we paid bill we were asked if everything was okay and told the member of staff it was just okay and they didn’t seem particularly bothered. Disappointing as we have had lovely food in here previously. Food plus two soft drinks was €33.

13/08/2025: Was at Century Play in Letterkenny in August with our two wee ones and honestly it was such a good day. The place is massive inside and so colourful, the kids didn’t know where to go first. Ours ran straight for the big slides and the ball pits and I barely saw them for the next hour. Every time I looked over they were either flying down the slides or laughing their heads off in the balls, then onto the climbing frames and back again. The toddler area looked lovely too, really safe and perfect for smaller ones, and everything looked very clean and well looked after. There was plenty of seating as well so you can sit down for a wee break but still see them. The whole place had a lovely buzz, busy enough to feel lively but never too much. The staff were friendly and easy to chat to, and we ended up talking to a supervisor called Emma who was so nice and polite. She took the time to go through all the party packages with us, explained what was included in each one and how they work on the day, and answered all the wee questions we had. Century Play really has something for all ages, with a safe spot for the little ones and bigger challenges for the older kids. It’s bright, cheerful and feels well run, and we left with two tired, happy kids already thinking about when we can go back again as it would be a great spot for a party.

20/08/2025: A bartender named Garreth is the most rudest man ever. Shocking. My step mum came to letterkenny for the night and asked for his name as he was serving us so she could leave a good review and he just kept giving her dirty looks and refused. Fair enough. Later on that night my step mum accidently knocked her pint over and he sighed and gave her another dirty look, she asked for a tissue and he completely ignored her and went on to serve other people. My friend had to go around the bar looking for tissues to clean it up as garreth clearly cant do his job. Weird man.

14/08/2025: Brillant hotel. Every part of the hotel was spotless. Room was well decorated and very comfortable. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Food and staff in the restaurant were great. Will definetly book here again.
