04/10/2026: I have allergies asked if mushrooms were cooked with anything else said she did not know asked me do you want me to check I said yes came back and said no. So ordered food took over 50 minutes to get our food. On the way home I was mins away from using my epic pen. Would safely say would not be back there again

07/04/2026: Great stay overall! The hotel and room were clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent. The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming, and the breakfast was really good with plenty of options. The only downside was the evening restaurant service, which could definitely be improved.

30/08/2026: When its bad its bad !!!sorry the staff was amazing 👏 As for the food it was awful . My family and myself ate there today and all I can say as a chef myself this quality of food NEVER wouldn't of been given to any of our customers, chicken was like eating rubber ,sauce 'what sauce ?? Garlic chips i think i got 6 if at that chips !! ,the rest was hard bits .My other half got pulled pork loaded "bbq" fries . No bbq sauce at all,only dry pork and cheese . Will never be back . Oh and no head chef/2nd chef and yes I get that they need a day off!! But i wasnt even asked did I want to speak to the cooks in there 🤔. Sorry but its an honest take from me and my families experience

31/07/2026: Very traditional pub from 1917- friendly barman. Had soup when food opened at 3pm. Very tasty vegetable broth for 7 euro but it only came with half a slice of wheaten. It’s only a small point but takes away from the beautiful soup. Full slice and you’d feel less hard done by

12/09/2026: Came here on a Friday evening, after the italian Restaurant nearby was absolutely overcrowded, and easily found a lovely place with the absolutely delicious Pizza! The dough is so well-tasting and soft I think it is made by longer preparation of the yeast. In fact the Pizza could be slighly larger. Its the only food that is served but thats fine. There is a larger Main room If you walk straight through the entrance, where there is the life music and bit louder, and a smaller, more quiet room with some soft music from the player. Staff very nice.

15/08/2026: I'm traveling from Italy, and this place was a pleasant surprise. We ordered takeout. The portions and quality of the food were truly excellent! The owner even gave us some (free) additions, which were much appreciated. If you're traveling or just passing through, this place is highly recommended.

31/07/2026: From we arrived ,stall friendly and welcoming,offering help + assistance with my mum.Had chosen executive room for special birthday trip which was spacious, beds comfortable ,great views.Food seved daily in bar or resturant from 6pm.Breakfast tasty suitable for all preferences young+old,seating area spacious,wheelchair friendly.Pool + gym compact,private suitable for all.Nicely situated close to beach,walking distance from town,10 min walk to kids playground / Waterworld,amusements.Taxi €5 to centre.

24/07/2026: i don't understand how people are saying this is bad, i had a great time. Stayed for 2 days in room 145, nice view of the ocean. Anyways there's an amusements 5 minutes away it's great. The food was really good, the provided honey cinnamon sugar and chia seeds (i think??) anyways there's fried eggs, scrambled, sausages, bacon, toast, pancakes,mushrooms, different juice varieties. There's also gluten free cereal for people who need it, black pudding. Not sure about dinner i didn't go to the dinner, but the bar is great aswell. You can bring drinks up to your room, which i don't encounter a lot. I think the only problem is that i couldn't connect to the wifi at room 145. Also there was two double beds and a single one that put in, since i don't like sleeping with my brother (he takes up the entire bed.) There's a tennis court, a swimming pool, a sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and that's all i know of. The jacuzzi and sauna were amazing but i didn't go in the steam room., Also just know if you see little black insect with red stripes/dots on the wings, it's a cinnabar moth. It is not a beetle. Ahyways, the staff were kind, it was very quiet at night except for my last day, someone kept opening their door at 11pm. I did get to sleep.

18/09/2026: Love this place, food and atmosphere are fantastic but it's the staff that make it really special. You have to try the pizza - homemade base and sauce and the toppings are so fresh. Cannot recommend enough.

09/08/2026: Had the pizza and chicken wings at RockHill and both were fantastic! The pizza had a perfectly crisp crust with a great balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings — every bite was packed with flavor. The chicken wings were cooked to perfection too: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a delicious sauce that wasn't overpowering. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and the whole meal felt like great value for the quality. Highly recommend RockHill if you're craving a solid pizzas— we'll definitely be back!
