14/11/2025: Absolutely wonderful place. Friendly staff, great food selection, excellent coffee and super relaxing. Lovely environment and they always play great music. I love the sausage roll and their wraps (such as spiced chicken or chicken bacon caesar) in particular. Will continue to come on my free Fridays!!

29/10/2025: The prices are great, it's easily accessible and the atmosphere is lovely. I can get there quickly from my home and take away and dine in both work fantastically. The building is also really beautiful with the plaza behind. I recommend this completely!

23/09/2025: Bovinity on Capel Street is a wonderful surprise as one of Dublin’s newer restaurants. The steaks are outstanding — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. What really makes the experience special is the way the menu blends Latin American and American barbecue traditions. You can enjoy a top-quality steak alongside a rich and creamy mac & cheese, all elevated with a beautifully made chimichurri, just like you’d find in Uruguay or Argentina. The service was excellent — attentive, warm, and professional — and the staff really added to the overall experience. To top it all off, their Italian wine selection pairs perfectly with the dishes, making the meal feel complete and indulgent. Bovinity is definitely a place I’d recommend for steak lovers looking for something a little different in Dublin, with a creative mix of flavors and a great atmosphere.

24/12/2025: To start with, this used to be a family favorite spot and we had Mam's 60th here with zero complaints, but after today we will never return as it was a total disaster. I totally understand it’s Christmas Eve and there is going to be a long wait which is fine, but we got there at 10:00 and I had to wipe the table myself. Coffees came out at 10:15/10:30 but the food didn't arrive until 11:15. I asked for water 3 times and it never came. I eventually cleaned the table and put the dishes on the bar myself, and while I was there I asked for water a 4th time only to be told "only orders from the table"—an instruction that comically came from the owner, I later found out. We actually had to go to the shops straight after we left just to get drinks because we were so dehydrated. When the breakfast finally came it was the wrong order. 2 breakfasts came out first with toast but no butter; I asked twice for butter and still none arrived. Then the other 2 breakfasts arrived after we had already started the first 2. I asked for butter a third time and it never came, and we also ordered tea twice which never arrived either. I told the waitress all of this and she was very nice and sorry, but it wasn’t her fault, it was the overall management of the place. Actions speak louder than words and we were charged for the cold coffees and full price for the breakfast, which I can only describe as 2 hours of pure frustration for what was meant to be an annual family Christmas breakfast. As you can see I’ve never left a bad review for anywhere, but this experience wins for my first ever bad review. Paying full price for what was a disaster is unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.

22/01/2026: From the very beginning, the service was nothing short of exceptional. From drinks in the downstairs bar to being escorted upstairs, the entire experience was seamless and impressive. Lupita, in particular, was outstanding — truly next-level service. She ensured we wanted for nothing, keeping drinks topped up without us ever needing to ask, and went above and beyond to look after the entire table, which was hugely appreciated. Her rapport with the table was exceptional, especially noticeable as we were celebrating a birthday. Without any prompting, a dessert arrived for us, allowing us to celebrate in absolute style. A 10,000/10 experience — I’d go every day if I could… or afford it!

08/12/2025: I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I ordered the pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious, fluffy and perfectly cooked, served with the right amount. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu. Highly recommended! 🥞✨
