11/11/2025: This is a short, simple menu, but is a delicious food. We had the pork sandwich and the Chicken rice bowl. Very friendly service too. It helps that you can enjoy it in the relaxing confines of the The Glimmer Man.

27/02/2026: Adorable spot with great Chinese food! We didn’t have a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us. The staff were attentive and efficient. Will be back to try other things on the menu. We had the lettuce wraps, chicken spring rolls, egg fried rice and the aubergine in chill ginger and scallion.

18/11/2025: For years, the canoe centre has been my go-to supplier for all things kayaking, providing the essential gear for both my personal adventures and for the youth organisation I work for. I've bought everything from "tip to toe," and the level of service has never wavered. ​The staff are phenomenal first dealing with Shane & Ciaran to the last couple of years with Hugh they have consistently offered knowledgeable and supportive assistance. The online shop is very user-friendly, stocking strong, quality brands that focus on depth of quality. ​A recent experience highlights their exceptional commitment: When a package went missing after posting, the team at the canoe centre put my needs foremost and promptly dispatched a second package before the original was relocated by An Post. This kind of proactive, customer-first service is why I continue to go back. ​No matter the size of the purchase, I always feel valued and acknowledged. An absolutely stellar sales and support service. Highly recommended.

04/11/2025: Fantastic Level 2 Kayaking Course with Keith! Keith was amazing — patient, knowledgeable, and knew exactly when to push us (and when not to!). We (Carmel and Sarah) were the two oldest in the group, with one of us new to kayaking, but he made it fun, supportive, and full of laughs. The group was an added bonus — we’re now all on WhatsApp calling ourselves The Liffey Lickers! Can’t wait for our next river trip with Keith to build on everything we learned.

18/03/2026: A truly unique and unexpected location under the train station. Absolutely stunning. Top-notch service. The food was exceptionally good, and the drinks were, of course, top-notch.

17/03/2026: We stopped by the Bloody Stream for lunch after some hiking and sat in the dining room with the fireplace. The atmosphere was very warm and comfortable and the service was top notch. Our servers were friendly and the food was piping hot and served quickly. The cider on tap was also nice.

21/11/2025: Was refused with a group of my friends by a rude American bartender because I was wearing cargos 😂 he then said it’s because they have a cuff they are tracksuit bottoms. Never seen the like, it you go here because of the name and think it’s an Irish bar expect anything but. It’s a hipster joint where apparently cargos are not allowed

24/03/2026: Take away today was not great. Chicken very dry and bland. My Coke was from Denmark and dated 2022. Certainly not 2022 prices at €30 for a starter and main with rice and delivery.

19/03/2026: I usually order takeaway from here, so I can’t really comment on the dine-in atmosphere—but the food and service have consistently been five stars every time. Tonight, though, I felt they really deserved a special mention. Annie went above and beyond with my delivery—arriving in record time (honestly the fastest I’ve ever had!) and being so friendly and pleasant to deal with. It made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend—reliable, delicious, and great customer service.

30/12/2025: Nice and tasty breakfast and brunch with many options to choose, the waffle with breast chicken was top, the place was spacious and with good natural lighting, the only negative thing is that one brazilian waitress was a bit rude with us, apart from that the food was nice.

16/10/2025: Great chilled out little cafe in Killiney Park in a lovely setting. All of the staff were really friendly and the cakes and pastries were to die for (best almond croissant and pain au raisin we’ve ever had) Also very dog friendly and you get meet loads of lovely dogs which was good as we love them and don’t have one of our own!!

15/10/2025: Lovely coffee. Fabulous brownies and protein balls. Interesting and broad selection of teas that I've yet to explore. Great layout where tired dog owners can relax and chat. A favourite switch off with nature. Food a bit pricey. Excellent service from very friendly staff.
