The best restaurants in Dublin

16/12/2025: By far the worst and most overpriced food I’ve eaten since arriving in Ireland. I’ve lived here for nine months and, until now, have been consistently impressed by the standard of food served. This was a stark and disappointing exception. It's more akin to a feedlot for humans.

18/12/2025: No dogs allowed, 2 stars because they did allow us to sit outside. It is perfectly normal to bring your dog with you to a restaurant and it is not against the law as most people believe.

14/12/2025: We chose this restaurant mainly because it was near our hotel. And what a fortuitous choice. This was one of the best meals that we had in Ireland! The atmosphere is a cozy, local bistro. The food was truly excellent. Even my cocktail was surprisingly well executed. By luck, we ended up having a great experience. This place does seem quite popular - deservedly so -- because it was very busy with what seemed to be a local crowd that is already in-the-know about what a special place this is.

Una cálida y amable bienvenida - encantadores cócteles - excelente comida - muy buen vino - un entorno cómodo - precios muy razonables. Este es un súper restaurante, y visitamos a menudo - y nunca se decepcionó. Muy recomendable.

04/11/2025: Beautiful place, it truly embodies the Irish spirit, with plenty of space and floors to share with friends, partners, and family. It has a wonderful bar with live music for dancing and enjoying yourself—highly recommended.

18/12/2025: We loved it! The best corn dog of my life. The cheese is perfectly melted, the sauces are great, and the soup is free (one bowl per customer). A hidden gem tucked away in the back of an Asian grocery store where everything is cooked right in front of you. Burgers, Bibamps, KFC-style chicken, etc....

22/11/2025: Visited this lovely restaurant on Saturday night. Very warm and welcoming staff. There is a nice atmosphere here. The food was delicious. We ordered the wings to share for starters and then the beef burger and chilli nachos. Both were tasty. Chips were nice. The restaurant has a nice split between more fancier higher end food like cod and pork and then more rustic dishes like burgers and battered haddock. Their drinks menu offers a range or local craft beers, a great selection of wine and cocktails. Quality and price were very good. Next time we go there we want to see how their brunch menu is. There is a lack of great brunch places in the D9 area so it has the potential to be our new go to on weekends. Would highly recommend.

11/12/2025: I was in Nightmarket recently after not having been in a few years and it was as good as ever. I was with a big group and I don't think anyone was disappointed. Thank you! Will be back again soon.

01/12/2025: Absolute joke of a place. Each and every time you walk into the place to collect an order they act like you’re invisible. When they do eventually acknowledge you they are rude and sharp and impolite. And it gets worse. I picked up an order one evening. I could see my pizza sat there and after 10 minutes of being ignored as usual I pointed and said I think that’s mine can I have it. A little short angry man with a scruffy beard shouted at me to wait, checked it, realised it was mine. Gave it to me and I said “great customer service” and he replied with what and walked outside and up in my face trying to be threatening (which was funny he’s about 5ft) and swore and I just stood there gobsmacked and laughed and walked back to my car. Everyone who works here are awful and management is even more of a joke. After complaining they gave me 5 euro credit. Also I have more bad stories about how bad their delivery service guys were. Much of the same nonsense honestly.

19/11/2025: Terrible experience. The customer service attendant was extremely rude and acted like they had zero sense of responsibility. When I asked about the status of my order, I was met with attitude instead of answers. The whole interaction felt unprofessional and careless. The food was not even appetising. Look at it, i asked for mozzarella cheese! where is it? 25€ for this???? really?

07/12/2025: Had a group dinner. The service was fantastic and the decor of the restaurant is amazing. The chicken lifer pate was nice and flavourful. I had a ribeye steak and it was salted a little too much for my liking but the peppercorn sauce and mash was very delicious.

30/11/2025: Good Indian restaurant in Lucan village. Very good service by staff and caters perfectly according to our taste. Very much satisfied. We tried chicken shislik kebab, Kasturi spl butter chicken, garlic naans and egg fried rice. All of them were so good

30/11/2025: I've eaten in Indian restaurants in 4 continents and nothing comes close to the food here. Outrageously good, especially the Butter chicken.
