08/07/2024: Was brought to Susie’s Bistro in Tubbercurry Golf Course for a Sunday luncheon with a friend, and from start to finish, you couldn’t find fault with the service or the food. Would definitely recommend Susie’s Bistro for any occasion as it’s 5 star service. The roast beef is simply delicious 😋

07/10/2024: Loved our stay here . Food is fab in the restaurant in the evening and the breakfast is plentyfull . There's a bar to the rear and a good outdoor seating area . Staff are lovely , friendly and attentive. Would stay here again 🤩

19/10/2024: Went in for lunch with four friends two of the group were just having coffee and three of us eating, the two coffees and three teas came straight away but then had to wait almost an hour for our food,the tea was just a teabag in a cup no pot,when I asked if we could have a top up I was rudely told that we could have as much tea as we want but would have to pay for it,food was sub standard, just sandwiches on a plate no side salad or crisps,won't be going back

03/11/2024: Went on a busy Saturday night. Bar was lively and Mick greeted us with such warmth that I felt the need to leave a 5 star review. Pure gent and very welcoming. Even went out of his way to find my partner a high stool despite how busy it was. Couldn't ask for more. Great pub that deserves all its success. (Maybe bring cash)

17/09/2024: Played this course on the 7th and 8th of September with good friends. What a beast of a course. Truly spectacular with ocean views and undulating fairways. A real challenge but fair with lots of blind greens. We played the full Atlantic dunes but only a portion of the Hackett. Would highly recommend this gem on the wild atlantic coast.

13/11/2024: A cery quaint and cosy bar/restaurant set in a beautiful location, just a short distance from Westport Town. Really good food. The fish and chips were delicious, and the Mussels devine. Great service by friendly, helpful, and happy staff. A real treasure of a place and a must on your list if you're visiting Westport.

21/09/2024: Very relaxing atmosphere when you arrive. We had a drink at the bar and we were told we could go to our table whenever we were ready. We were brought to a snug with three other tables. Food was lovely. Steak was cooked to perfection. Guinness was lovely.

10/09/2024: My wife and I had a great meal last year when visiting the area. We decidied we must eat at Blue Serenade again. We booked in advance to avoid disappointment. Peter is wonderful as a host and a character. We shared a bowel of mussells as a starter, followed by mains of Lamb Shank, and Chicken Duxelle. We both had Chocolate Orange Cheesecake as a dessert. For drinks we shared a bottle of Merlot. it was a very relaxed meal, - be prepared to have a wait between each course. The food is obviously freshly cooked to ordered. High quality standard of food, and wine. The total bill came to €94.50 which we thought was fanstastic value for the evening. The restuarant is small and intimate, with plenty of character. The choice of music is 1970', 80's eske which is line with the whole experience. A bit quirky but brilliant all round.

08/09/2024: Delicious food for a good price. Food came very quickly and was a good portion. Friendly staff. Cash payment preferred, but can also be paid by card. Highly recommended!

17/10/2024: We were walking around westport looking for a pint and a bit of grub before we got the bus to another town. And cosy joes was the only place with an open door. Walked in to smiles and a warm friendly atmosphere. The barman Fergus was full of chat and plenty of stories especially when he was told my fiancé is a chef. And we are engaged had plenty of knowledge about the local hotels and wedding spots. He recommended the burger which I have to say was amazing. I only wish we had more time. It was this stop that made our day in westport. And will definitely be letting head groomesmen and maid of honour know that it's a stag and hen spot.

20/09/2024: This is my third visit to Oxtail. I went with a family party of 4 for a birthday celebration. Thank you to the chef as we had the most amazing food. It was made with care and attention to detail. Each course complimented the last one. Each of us ordered differently and honestly every dish was delicious. It was a real treat and was perfect for us. Thank 😊 you to the servers who made a birthday candle on our desert. Well worth a visit. 👏💖 Frances B x

26/09/2024: We live locally and have eaten here several times and recommend it to our friends. Dinner last night was delicious as always and accommodations made for our dietary requirements so that we were able to relax and enjoy a really lovely meal. Service, as always, was outstanding

25/09/2024: We stayed at the Ballina Manor and it’s a beautiful walk to the spa. The baths we fantastic and the relaxation room was wonderful as well. The restaurant offered a “new” kind of seafood chowder including muscles that were insanely good. The showers have great water pressure and excellent products!

15/08/2024: Before driving between Louisburgh and Leenane (definitely one of the highlights of our 10-day trip to Ireland), we decided to have lunch at Louisburgh 74. It is a delightful place, arranged and decorated with simplicity and care. Guests are both local and occasional, the whole thing has a welcoming family feel about it. Likewise, the food is simple but tasty and comforting. We enjoyed a creamy chicken curry, fish cakes and lemon tart. Recommended.
