Jones Garden Centre & Mrs. Jones Farm Kitchen
16/10/2024: Hi just been around jones shop and then into the kitchen for a bit of lunch with my 92 year old mother ( she loves jones).
I have to say the staff could not do enough for us. They were so helpful in getting us a table as the place was hopping.
The food is just amazing. I would highly recommend Mrs jones kitchen and the gardening Centre.
Will definitely be back.
03/07/2024: Nice cheesecake BUT could have done without someone else's lipstick on cup. Only realised after drinking from cup. Absolutely disgusting. No excuse. Feel physically sick. Some much for cleanliness following Covid19!!!

04/08/2024: Here just now. Five people behind the counter. One young trainee serving. Que getting very annoyed. I asked for more service. I was told only one person serving. I left.
09/06/2024: Waiting to collect my daughter, husband and two children. Arrived to find flight delayed. Went into the newly redone Insomnia for a coffee. Same great coffee and nibbles but much nicer seating and better layout.

13/09/2024: Besökte stället för brunch. Väldigt mysig lokal i en mysig del av Galway med fin utsikt över vattnet. Valde några rätter från menyn o det var verkligen rejäla portioner, o nylagat. Fantastiskt gott. Service snabb o effektiv o trevlig.
07/07/2024: Vino aquí a comer algo una mañana. Hermoso entorno con comida hermosa. Bien vale la pena una visita si en la zona.

21/05/2024: Hard to believe that the place is so busy at 3 pm on a Tuesday afternoon that NO-ONE can answer the phone....
The 'service' aspect is missing from so many services right now that it's comical. Prices are sky high everywhere - you would think staff are trained sufficiently to cover the basics.

30/04/2024: Monika was great to deal with it, she was so helpful and helped me form the menu. Every step of the way it was very easy and on the day of the food delivery she was in constant contact to make sure everything ran smoothly. Food was incredible, it went down a storm! Thank you so much

10/07/2024: Overall not satisfying experience. Food was dissapointing and bland. Definitely not recommended. Atmosphere was rude and unfriendly.
10/07/2024: Low-quality food for the price, unfriendly atmosphere, didn't feel very hygienic, disappointed with this place, would not recommend since there are so many places that are actually friendly and delicious to eat/drink in Kilkenny.

28/10/2024: Great service from the minute we walked in. Staff were friendly and attentive but not overbearing. We order two steak sandwiches and a side portion of the famous hash browns. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were good! The standard of food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We will be returning soon!
20/10/2024: Amazing service, staff are so friendly and accomodating, and food was delicious, would recommend and definitely will revisit in the future.

11/03/2024: Three of us were here for a Mother's Day lunch. Nice setting, bar was cold. Menu options not great and we were not impressed with them not having a vegetarian sandwich option, strange in these days when so many are opting for a vegetarian or vegan diet. The food menu made the sandwiches sound gourmet but they were far from that, I would say just basic with a big price tag. One of us ordered the mash with chicken and it was totally tasteless. We ordered 2 glasses of Chardonnay and I'd lay money that it was Sauvignon Blanc. Disappointing experience.
25/02/2024: We had a family lunch for ten in Feb 2024 ( we've been a few times) and always find it an excellent place to gather - the staff are professional, friendly and efficient and the food is fine. The Jameson Bar bar is where we eat but we've also used the Seaview lounge upstairs and a private room - and always find it is a reliable hotel for eating and family gatherings.
