16/11/2024: Siendo mi marido un Hackett, este fue su punto de la lista de deseos del año. ¡Créeme que conocer a Tommy y John fue una alegría absoluta! Tommy invitó a James detrás de la barra y le enseñó a servir un Guinness adecuado. Gracias a Tommy y John por hacer de nuestro viaje a través del charco un sueño real hecho realidad

20/10/2024: First time at Slevins, stumbled across while in Dunboyne, stopped in for Sunday dinner. Great decor, welcoming, attentive staff and spotless clean. Good selection on the menu. Food did not disappoint. Best roast pork I have had, full of flavour and cooked perfectly! Each element down to the vegetables were done right. Will be back.

30/06/2024: Called in on a Sunday morning the place was almost empty apart from 1 family of 6 people. We were not greeted or shown to a table. We went over to a table and sat down, we were seated for at least 15 minutes before any staff approached us and took orders for tea/coffee, waited another 10 minutes before cold tea/coffee arrived, server took breakfast order and we waited at least another 20/25 minutes before the order arrived, (taking into account that at least 5 staff were walking around the empty pub)! The food wasn't high quality produce, the presentation was very slap dash and the service brutal. I will definitely not be returning to this place. Very disappointing experience!!!

27/08/2024: Great place for groups big or small. Excellent food. I brought 22 teenagers,most of whom had never sat down to a formal 3 course meal. The staff treated our group the same as they would an adult group. Highly recommended

21/10/2024: Tengo una ensalada en camino. No quedaba mucho porque era 1 cuando aparecimos. Pero muchas verduras. Yo diría que son ensaladas de tamaño americano, así que lo dividimos entre 2 adultos.

09/01/2025: First of all, staff are welcoming and helpful. Varied choice of cakes and great selection of freshly made sandwiches. Black coffee was great, which is so hard to find. Revisit!

04/01/2025: This is my second attempt at writing this review. I don't know what happened the first time but this place is worth attempting to write the review again because all the staff at this establishment are a step above the rest. They are helpful, friendly and professional. From the first day I went to make the booking they couldn't be more helpful. I spoke to Keith and Maria when making the booking and they were so helpful and friendly....but I met other members of staff afterwards which I don't know their names but they were also extremely professional. The apartment was clean, beautifully designed and had everything you would need for your stay there. The staff made us feel at home as soon as we set foot on the premises. It was a home away from home. The meal was absolutely delicious and presented so well. Compliments to the chef but again I don't know his name but it was a gourmet style meal, tasty and mouthwatering 😋 . Later there was live music and the atmosphere was electric and everyone had a wonderful time. The whole place oozed with positive vibes and everyone was enjoying the friendly, lively atmosphere. It's definitely a place I would recommend to anyone and we will be back.

28/10/2024: We just spent four nights at the Bridge Inn in Dungloe and were just so impressed with everything Keith and his amazing team have done to create a dog friendly haven for those travelling with pooches. The studio apartments are extremely modern, beautifully decorated and really comfortable to stay in. And the bar has everything you need for a stay, including pool table, lovely food and amazing love music. The icing on the cake was the genuine friendliness of Keith, Corey and the rest of the staff working at the Bridge Inn who made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. Our Lille doggie Harlow particularly enjoyed free reign in the bar and lounge area. Thanks so much for the hospitality. We will definitely be back and this time hope to being the sun with us 🤩

18/09/2024: E' un self service e in orario di punta si forma una certa fila ma piuttosto scorrevole e veloce. Io ho preso lo stufato di agnello e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative perchè saporito e morbidissimo. Non all'altezza delle aspettative invece la "mitica" torta di mele. Prezzo abbastanza adeguato al tipo di ristorante.

25/05/2024: This is a fairly large restaurant catering to tourists, but has good food reasonably priced. I had a salmon and spinach quiche with salad, that filled me up for the rest of the day. Good value.

09/01/2025: The Bakewell €15.50 for chips with curry sauce and bottle of coke , pure soggy slop place is a dump , no cutlery to takeaway and staff ignorant ! Northbound side

13/09/2024: Avoid September 2024. No toilets as being renovated. No WiFi and on this occasion not very friendly staff. . Coffee was good.
