22/07/2025: Se dejó caer para una pinta en un capricho alrededor de las 3 pm en un día de semana. Bonito y tranquilo - no hay turistas (aparte de nosotros! ). Tom, el barman, era amable y atractivo y muy bien informado sobre su extensa colección de whisky. Los pocos lugareños eran agradables y conversadores. Volvería en un santiamén. Un ambiente muy relajado y acogedor.

20/03/2025: Primera vez en este pub. Interior muy agradable y una buena elección de bebidas. Auténtico pub victoriano. El barman era amable y atrayente. Vale la pena visitarlo.

11/05/2025: Food was average and a bit pricey. The order taking was chaotic but they were very busy which led to a long wait for one of our mains. Order: Burger : Average Mussels : Not good. Pork belly : Nice Kids Sausage Meal : Average Kids burger meal : Very good Staff were nice but need to communicate better, few mistakes while ordering. Food didn’t do it this time. Great venue. 20/08/2023: When we walked in people who works there where with the big smiles 👍... I had that feeling that we are very welcome 🙏 recommend this place if you want to have good time ... Next time will go there earlier to try the food ... heard that it is good too. 👌

16/11/2024: Siendo mi marido un Hackett, este fue su punto de la lista de deseos del año. ¡Créeme que conocer a Tommy y John fue una alegría absoluta! Tommy invitó a James detrás de la barra y le enseñó a servir un Guinness adecuado. Gracias a Tommy y John por hacer de nuestro viaje a través del charco un sueño real hecho realidad

21/07/2025: We were staying at the nearby hotel. This was relatively close and an easy walk. We had an enjoyable meal and the service was great.

21/07/2025: Ordered Fish and Chips last Saturday night 19th. Have had this dish on numerous occasions in Slevins. When it arrived the fish was the colour of a brown leather shoe and the batter was of the same consistency! All three people at the table agreed it was inedible so I sent it back. 15/20 minutes later still waiting. The Manager Michelle told me the Chef thought the batter was a funny colour so was making another one! Finally arrived and it was worse. Not helped by the skin showing through the burnt batter at the back! The Manager here needs not to adopt such a defensive and rude attitude. I was told.......she tasted the fish and it was fine, nobody else complained and her final insulting parting shot....we would be happy to welcome you again but suggest you don't order the Fish and Chips! Now the staff here are normally extremely pleasant and the food very good. All my friends go there so we were very surprised to be treated in this manner. My companions food was great. The servers were lovely. Will go again but Slevins you need to perhaps arrange further training here. Customers matter and good customer service is essential for any business.

21/04/2025: Complete dog friendly Dog can beside you in the bar while you eat and can stay in the apartment. The staff are so friendly and the service and food were so good 👍 This was a return visit for us and we will definitely be back again. * Would like to suggest a few bins for doggy bags near the property. Thanks again for a brilliant night .

29/06/2025: Stopped by Macroom on our way to Galway, and came across the Next Door Cafe on the main street. It is a great spot for a casual lunch. Food was fresh and well made, and the setting is comfortable and attractive.

21/10/2024: Tengo una ensalada en camino. No quedaba mucho porque era 1 cuando aparecimos. Pero muchas verduras. Yo diría que son ensaladas de tamaño americano, así que lo dividimos entre 2 adultos.

18/09/2024: E' un self service e in orario di punta si forma una certa fila ma piuttosto scorrevole e veloce. Io ho preso lo stufato di agnello e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative perchè saporito e morbidissimo. Non all'altezza delle aspettative invece la "mitica" torta di mele. Prezzo abbastanza adeguato al tipo di ristorante.

25/05/2024: This is a fairly large restaurant catering to tourists, but has good food reasonably priced. I had a salmon and spinach quiche with salad, that filled me up for the rest of the day. Good value.
