The best restaurants in Wexford

29/11/2024: Dined here 2 nights ago. Food was delicious and staff warm and very good at their jobs.

23/11/2024: Had the most amazing meal here last night. Very unassuming restaurant but there’s nothing nothing unassuming about the food. One of the best fish meals I’ve had in a long time. Couldn’t recommend Lá Cote enough.

15/12/2024: Wow! What a find! We went in to pick up a bottle of wine, an immediately was taken back to how shops/cares used to be. Friendly staff, and the scone was really nice 👌 A1. So good, went back the very next day. Scones are awesome! Highly recommended 👌

09/12/2024: Thanks so much Ann for a lovely lunch on Sunday - delicious toasted sandwiches, made with proper roast ham and hand cut chips - followed by Christmas pudding! Looking forward to our next visit. A must in New Ross.

17/11/2024: Food wasn't great as we were recommend this place by a few of the locals, rib meat could have been done for alot longer, no falling off the bones on our visit anyways.

16/11/2024: We found this place on Google we went in for a sandwich and chips it was really good food and staff were very affiicent and nice very quick service we weren't waiting long on it.will definitely go there again.

25/12/2024: Ordered for delivery to Ferrybank Campsite. The food was superb and especially liked the Chicken Kadai. Ordered a meal-deal for two plus starters. Highly recommend. Ordering and delivery prompt and efficient. Thank you Sealord!

21/12/2024: Ordered a takeaway. Spent over €40. Food was cold and also an hour late. Called sealord and spoke to a pretty rude woman down there. She was absolutely of no help whatsoever. We have ordered regularly and eaten there many times. Being busy is not an excuse for poor service and poor quality.

12/12/2024: Amazing service from the owner. Definitely try the toasties and soup. Soup was delicious. As it was quite quiet, we were also allowed to bring our dog in.

20/12/2024: Starters are much nicer than mains. The food is very heavy and makes you bloated for hours. Nice and attentive staff. The heat is turned off very early in the evening, my legs were frozen by the time we were leaving. Despite the shortcomings, this is probably the best dining place in Wexford at the moment (not counting Crust).

11/12/2024: Early bird menu was disappointing. Croquetta was a salt ball. Cod was tasteless

24/11/2024: Food was soooo good! And great pint of Guinness too! We had the burger and the seafood linguini. Seafood linguini was probably the best I tried in Ireland, so rich and tasty!

29/12/2024: The best buffalo wings and ribs I have had in decades. And don’t forget to try the Pineapple lemonade. We will be back!!!

19/10/2024: One of our favourite places to eat out at, but this time we were disappointed with one of the main dishes. We had the duck pate to start with, which was delicious. Our mains were two burgers with bacon and cheese and a haddock deep fried in bread crumbs with chips and peas. We had chips and salad with the burgers. The burgers were very good but the fish must have been sitting around while the burgers were being cooked, as it was greasy and chewy. It is a shame, because this is the first time that we have had a less than good meal at Mannions. We did mention it to the staff when we were paying and they did offer a discount but as my husband had eaten the fish, we paid the full price. With New Ross being so close to the sea and fish readily available it was a shame that this dish was not treated with respect. Will eat there again but maybe not have the fish.
