17/04/2026: Excellent restaurant! Don't hesitate to stop by. We stumbled upon it by chance and it was a wonderful experience. They serve all day. The dishes are homemade.

12/04/2026: Super selection on the menu and fast, friendly service. UPDATE: After other visits, it is my opinion that this outlet has really deteriorated - it took an hour to have tea and a snack with a 50 minute delay between when they were eventually served. Staff were kind but untrained and confused. Crockery was dirty and had to be sent back. The food served was not what was ordered and was cold. The atmosphere was awful. I would not be keen to return in future - avoid, zero recommendation.

22/03/2026: A beautiful botanical garden, definitely visit if you get the chance. Wonderfully beautiful old trees, wonderful nature and a relaxed atmosphere as if from some long forgotten time.

05/04/2026: Myself and my wife stayed in the chester Beatty on Easter Saturday night On arrival we were met in reception by two very welcoming gentlemen. Check in took about one minute or less, asked if we needed to book table for food as the car park was fairly full, we were told there would be no problem just go in when ready. We went to our room which was absolutely spotless and warm. Food was wonderful, fast and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We had a couple of drinks later in the bar which were lovely aswell with bar staff were great. After a very good sleep we had breakfast which was perfect in every way. Definitely visit again. 24/03/2026: As a local who has visited many times, I was extremely disappointed with my most recent visit. I ordered the "smash burger" and what I received was anything but a smash burger. The two patties on the burger were at least 3/4" thick and were cooked to death (well done to the point it was like trying to eat shoe leather). Other than this the other aspects of the meal were to the usual standard we expect, wings, sides and sauces, etc were fine and enjoyable, and my partner enjoyed her food. The staff were lovely and very friendly, but they missed several blatant warning signs they should have spotted (such as taking pictures of the food, laughing and braking it apart with hands and leaving basically an entire main untouched because it was inedible). It was a Sunday and it was very busy and as I said the staff were great and could not fault their customer service... but as a retired hospitality professional myself, I can't imagine how a chef could have let food be prepared that badly, let alone leave the pass and be served to a customer. Very disappointed as I hold Chesters in very high regard and we regularly recommend our own guests (we run a B&B in the local area) go to Chesters for dinner because we have never had a fault in the past. Again it was a Sunday and it was busy but I really couldn't get over how poor the burger was. Staff were great as mentioned above and was a good ambiance and prices are reasonable as always!

10/11/2025: Lovely little café that caters for breakfast and lunch. Great coffees too. You order downstairs and then find a table upstairs. Cute decor, helpful staff and great healthy food options. Have a look at the small store afterwards.

06/04/2026: Went here as a party of 3 for Sunday lunch. It was very busy so they took our details and said they should have a table in 20 mins. We did a little walk around the harbour and about 10 mins later my phone rang and our table was ready. Even though it was 12.15pm, and breakfast ended at 12pm, I was still able to get the scramblers and bacon which was fab. We also ordered the eggs benny and mini breakfast. 3 meals, 2 coffees and a softdrink later, the bill was €55 and we were full and happy!

26/03/2026: The food is usually excellent, but this morning my scrambled eggs were overcooked, unseasoned and served cold. So disappointing! Not sure what happened, but would make another attempt, based on previous positive experiences.

10/04/2026: We spent a wonderful week's holiday at the Horse and Hound and were delighted by the outstanding hospitality. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and they even accommodated special requests, such as those related to lactose intolerance. The rooms are comfortably furnished and clean, and we found the beds very comfortable. The free parking directly behind the hotel was also very convenient. We were particularly impressed by the Irish music evening in the pub, which was truly authentic and not a tourist show at all. Thank you for the wonderful time! The Meurer Family

27/03/2026: Last night we phoned and spoke with Samona. We ordered a takeaway of mixed salad, tagliolini with homemade bread. OMG the food was absolutely mouth watering and delicious 😋. We will definitely order again. Please note you can also dine in as well.

25/03/2026: The food is so delicious, the owners are all so friendly, and the pizza comes out super fast!!! Above all, it's so tasty and the service is so good that if you visit here to wrap up your trip, you can have a happy vacation!

22/12/2025: A thoroughly positive impression, both from the very friendly and welcoming service staff and the beautifully maintained ambiance with its view of the water. Good coffee and tea, delicious snacks, and homemade cakes. We'll definitely be back! Please note: the café is somewhat hidden, located directly on the riverbank. A small footpath leads from the bridge right to the café. Further upstream along the river, there's a large parking lot where parking is free on Sundays. From there, it's about a 2-minute walk to the café; simply stroll along the riverbank and you're there.

17/03/2026: A hidden gem just past the glen of the downs. Great food and deserts very well priced. Staff are very freindly. We will be back.

16/03/2026: Had a refreshing Kopparberg cider at the Grove Bar with my friends, such a great spot to unwind! The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

15/04/2026: 5+ start to good and view. So far, the best food in Bray in terms of unforgettable experience. Great pint of Guinness. Def coming back and highly recommended. Missed a bit of live music but if you’re going for good drinks, food with a nice view, that’s your place!

15/04/2026: It's my favourite place in Bray!. The best view to enjoy a pint or 4. All the staff they are so friendly, but specifically Sebastian always very energetic and with a great attitude. The guys in the bar are super cool. Joel and the other guys (I will update the names as soon as I come back, maybe tomorrow 😀) That's what business needs, people like B&B.

06/03/2026: My fish simply could not have been better cooked. Everything else was top notch also. Wine conversation was lucid and accurate. Friendly and entertaining banter. Cosy ambiance. Not even picky negatives.

22/02/2026: lovely food, excellent choices on menu. Staff were wonderful - we were a family of 5 adults and a baby. Perfect Sunday afternoon lunch/dinner with choices to suit all and attentive staff.

10/04/2026: Great spot for a bit of socialising! Lots of different spaces and seating. Music food and drink! An old style sitting room, a spacious area with big sofas. A stage area for bands and two snugs with open fires! Upstairs is a big area for performances like comedy. And most importantly dogs are really welcome!
