28/07/2026: What an amazing organic restaurant and little shop. We had a delicious meal. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly people. All products are vegan and they taste delicious. Highly recommended and the prices are very affordable. Parking at a distance at a low rate. Animal-friendly restaurant... amazing.

26/07/2026: Wonderful meal, great food. Lovely staff. Lasagne was amazing, I want the pesto recipe. Tomato soup was really good, proper homemade. Real ingredients. Don’t leave food unattended or the birds will eat it.

12/09/2026: Truly Italian! I just fancy something Italian and I found it here. I always pass by here in my walk to Bray seafront and can’t believe I have been passing by here to miss this. Now, I’m addicted. Cannoli is truly delicious and the coffee is super. The panini is freshly made and staff is brilliant and friendly. Carpe Diem, you’re now my favourite in Bray. Thank you!

09/09/2026: Small restaurant with limited seating, but a good selection of salads and sandwiches. It’s a little hard to spot the sign from the road, but look for the purple building! We had the mixed salad with tuna and the roasted ham panini—both were fresh and delicious.

12/07/2026: Review by my daughter, Alana: I went there with my friends. We were nine, and we ate for only €50. The girl taking our orders was super nice, and the food was delicious.

02/09/2026: I neen to the dockyard multiple times with my family and friends and one 2 times on my only but every time I go depending on the staff when I went on my only thats time it took 1h to get my food come and I and was almost cold they single me out and started talking about me out loud 2 off the staff generally i have no problem with them but does not take almost a 1h fir one food to come out and I didn't order a drink summary they they served other people immediately who had four people at the table , but why did I take half an hour , almost see it served and the last time with my friend it took 50 mins and and we late we sat down at 2 ordered at 2:20 and the food come at 2:50

20/08/2026: We had Dockyard breakfast several times and were delighted with our visit. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and it's clear they're used to welcoming families — they were especially kind and patient with our kids, which we really appreciated. On top of that, we thought the value for money was great. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. Highly recommended!

06/09/2026: Waited 45 minutes, 2 of my friends got 2 full Irish breakfast, I only had two sausages and scrambled egg, and charged me 18 euro for mine, and there's was only 16.95. Cause I didn't order of the menu. Any biker reading this, go elsewhere. Food was rotten, A lot more to it, I'd appreciate my money back 💯.

26/08/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it was a very pleasant surprise. The staff, especially the owner, were incredibly attentive. We ordered two Irish breakfasts, which were very generous, and a special mention goes to the bread and the white and black pudding, which were absolutely delicious.

07/08/2026: The Old Ship is a gem located in Arklow. The food is consistently good as is the service and overall ambience. The staff are extremely attentive, pleasant and cannot do enough to ensure your dining experience is warm and welcoming. The food is amazing and presented with a creative flair. If you have room for dessert, the apple pie is out of this world and it comes with its own" gravy boat" of homemade custard. Hats off to the pastry chef for that creation😘 One of my favorite places to eat in the beautiful county of Wicklow.

30/08/2026: A brilliant family-run business with some of the nicest, friendliest staff you could possibly come across. The place is always spotless, welcoming and well looked after, and there’s a lovely atmosphere every time you walk through the door. A huge well done to Pádraig and Marie and all the team for the standard they keep. It’s also great to see the effort they put into the outside of the premises — it’s looking absolutely smashing and really adds to the appearance of Ashford village. It’s businesses like this, taking pride in their premises and their community, that make a village a better place. Great food, great people and a fantastic local business. Well worth supporting.

02/08/2026: We had a meal here twice this year and it is definitely our go to place. Superb food lively busy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. We were delighted with our evenings on both occasions.

05/09/2026: We booked for the regular supper club, having become annual members. We were very pleasantly surprised having been bemoaning the dearth of restaurants serving Irish cuisine in Bray. Every course was delightful….delicious and inventive. We will become regular diners here without a doubt. Standout dishes were the lamb and the chocolate dessert.

20/07/2026: I was spending a few days in Bray and looking for a place to eat, and I definitely found the right spot. The staff was friendly even though I didn't have a reservation and the place was full. They offered me a table for 45 minutes, which was perfect. The lasagna was delicious. I will definitely return to Bray.
