19/01/2025: The service has to be the worst I’ve ever experienced. Ordered a starter and mains. Starter came within minutes. An hour plus later still no sign of mains all the while multiple tables that came in and ordered after us got served there food. Not once in an hour did a member approach us regarding another drink etc. would not recommend this place.

05/09/2024: This was the first time I have visited the Greencastle Inn and I have to say the surroundings and the food was first class. Nothing was any problem for the chef ! The service staff were very pleasant and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone visiting

19/03/2025: Avoid and go hungry instead, you will thank me. Has to be worst take away ever seen. Order a cod and chips, donar kebab, onion rings and cheese chips. None of it was editable. Cod batter was dark brown soild piece of batter that has been cooked in oil that probably there since 2012. Even the fish inside wasnt editable. Onion rings the same , donor kebab was some sort of meat in a tray , the tray just leaked orange colour sauce all over the place. As i was passing through I will get onto bank for a charge back as I couldn't get back to shop to dump the food.
19/03/2025: Evita y pasa hambre en su lugar, me lo agradecerás. Tiene que ser la peor comida para llevar jamás vista. Pide un bacalao con papas fritas, dona kebab, aros de cebolla y papas fritas de queso. Nada de eso era editable. La masa de bacalao era un trozo de masa sucia marrón oscuro que se ha cocinado en aceite que probablemente allí desde 2012. Ni siquiera el pescado de dentro era editable. Aros de cebolla igual, kebab donante era algún tipo de carne en una bandeja, la bandeja sólo filtró salsa de color naranja por todas partes. Cuando estaba de paso voy a entrar en el banco para un cargo de vuelta, ya que no podía volver a la tienda para tirar la comida.

12/02/2025: Kip of a place. What place that sells coffee doesn’t have coffee. Staff very rude and ignorant when informing about them having no coffee. Been without certain products for a few weeks now. Might as well close up 👍 -10 if possible. Do not recommend .
02/02/2025: All of us went here for coffee and a cupcake during the summer and oh my gosh it was closed when we arrived the kids had to be comforted with the doors closed because of the rain during the night

12/04/2025: Spent 33 euros on the worst meal ever, sausage were disgusting out of a packet from a shop! Bacon was that black from the dirty hotplate, egg was the only edible thing. Staff are uninterested In service no communication when they approach your table just drop everything at the table and leave. Will never be back and will make sure everyone I know avoids at all costs.
03/12/2024: Ordered a burger and it's a sad excuse for what could be called a burger. More like a kids meal size with a really thin patty.

06/04/2025: Stopped in during a road trip. 2 fantastic Zinger Tower burgers and a bargain bucket were world class.
Lovely staff.
My wife needed a poo when we arrived and found the toilets to be spotless and fresh smelling.

22/03/2025: Waited a hour for food the guy didn’t make it until we asked him and when we ask him for forks he forgot and the food was absolutely rotten don’t bother it’s a waste of time

21/02/2025: Have been going here for years and noticed it getting poorer and more expensive each time in the last two years. Scones particularly poor. Overdone and flat - I’d be embarrassed if I had baked these! Very little else to choose from to have with coffee.

Cakes, sandwich and fab coffee. Staff are also very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth and visit. 👍🏻

21/03/2025: Front of house is friendly. Food is over priced & honestly terrible. First time ordering food here & the last. Spice bag was just destroyed with pepper & salt, no actual spice bag flavouring added, couldn't eat it. Fried noodles where not what you normally get. And the mixed spring roll contains celery & some horrible pink meat that I can't identify. Just terrible.
