12/05/2025: Geraldine and her staff were so welcoming to such a large group(30 of us in total). We had a great couple of hours in the beer garden and will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend - 10/10!

30/09/2024: Though it was very quiet when we got there as we were there just after A Tractor run had been there. It's off the beaten track so unless you are looking for it you wouldn't know there's a pub there. It's a very old pub with lots of original furniture etc. Outside looks like it has the potential to be a nice beer garden in the summer that host all sorts of events. We hope to return again in the near future.

03/05/2025: This business is “CASH ONLY” and have a sign on their window clearly stating such. This has been the case for many years - and still continues to be the case in 2025. Considering many people have been paying by card and contactless for many years now, I award this business 1 star. If you do not carry cash, you cannot purchase anything here
16/02/2025: Quick and very friendly service from the girl at the counter. Would return based on that. Typical take-away standard Chinese food - not bad!

22/10/2023: I have just had an absolutely delicious oatmilk caramel latte from here, possibly the best I have ever tasted. The rest of my group had icecreams which they said were gorgeous. The hot sauce for the sundaes really make them so good. And the scoops of ice cream are excellent quality too.
It was really busy with quite along queue of people arriving at the same time, but the girls serving took it in their stride and still had a friendly smile and lovely manner for each customer. Top class service with top class produce.👌😁

18/02/2024: We got a takeaway from here at the weekend. We got 2 pizzas, chips, chicken burger and chicken nuggets. There was garlic dip served complimentary with the pizzas. The food was piping hot when we got it home. It was really tasty and was devoured by all. We will be back. 🌟✨️

23/06/2024: Had a gorgeous meal for my birthday in pollock &porter. Thoroughly enjoyed, wonderful food, great value for a quality meal, gorgeous cocktails served in beautiful glassware. Will definitely be going again.
04/06/2024: My partner and I ate here over the June Bank Holiday Weekend, and all I can say is that it was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. We started with the crab claws, which were so beautifully cooked and full of flavour. We struggled to choose our mains because we wanted to try everything, so my partner had the Sole and I had the duck, and we shared. Both meals were delicious and between the amazing food and beautiful wine we left there very satisfied. I cannot recommend this fabulous restaurant enough. I will certainly be back. We were delighted to meet the chef and pass on our thanks to him ourselves. Such a lovely talented man. Thank you for such a wonderful evening.

14/07/2024: This is not just a restaurant, not just a meal. Everything is made to stimulate your senses. The atmosphere will involve you completely and you will surrender yourself to it.
Lovely staff, who we kept bothering and asking questions, and they gave back always with a smile. We're very happy we found this place and we intend to come back
