07/11/2025: We went to the stonechat for my mother's 95 birthday ......highly recommend,the food was amazing..fresh and presented perfectly....great service very kind staff......nice cosy atmosphere.....the best place in Killarney without a doubt

19/10/2025: Absolutely top notch. I met Charlotte and Dermot tonight and was astounded at both their sheer capabilities and charisma. They couldn't steer me wrong .. one delicious bite after the next. Unbelabable. I said, hey I don't think I'd like that but they were like "trust me" and I did. Grapefruit? Delicious. They're all good friends in there and you can tell by vibes. Great atmosphere. The banoffie pie was the best dessert I've ever had. I almost got a second one but thankfully a very thoughtful woman said "maybe two desserts is enough". She was right.

29/12/2025: Great menu with some really tasty dishes. Great value on their early bird menu too. Will definitely go again.

23/11/2025: Vendricks Restaurant, as usual, was absolutely superb. The decor inside the restaurant is top-class — very elegant and beautifully designed, and the festive Christmas decorations added a really warm, inviting touch that really enhanced our experience. The menu offers some lovely options, and I ordered the stuffed mushroom with goat’s cheese, which couldn’t have been any nicer. The presentation of the food was just amazing. My brother ordered the beef burger, and he said his meal was also 10/10. The staff are all extremely helpful and accommodating. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a really good meal in Killarney. You certainly won’t be disappointed, and I definitely hope to return again soon.

14/12/2025: Ate here last night as a group and had the most incredible time.... they have just the best variety of choices for food options .. the quality of the food, the presentation and portions were super generous.. hats off to all in the kitchen..wine list was varied and nicely chosen with lovely options ..Neil and Barry did a super job looking after everyone with ease and class... .... highly highly recommend this absolute total gem of a hospitality establishment 👏

01/01/2026: We visited Murphy's at least four times during our short stay in Killarney. The staff there are incredible, so helpful and full of energy. The ice cream itself is of 5 star quality and the variety of flavours are very, very good. The staff will offer free samples if you are curious about one. I tried the Irish brown bread flavor, which was really good. My favorite was Kierans Cookies, though.

30/12/2025: Was ignored by staff when we went into their restaurant. Seated ourselves after being ignored after waiting for a few minutes for a table. Think everyone was local and got the impression we weren’t welcome by staff. Took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge us and bring a menu despite 3 staff members being there with a half empty restaurant. Once we finished food (19 euro for a burger with a soggy bun that was straight out of the packet and cold lettuce, raw onion and slice of tomato) we went to the bar to pay the bill. There was a bartender (dark curly hair with facial hair- he was the primary staff member that seemed to completely ignore us when we were just trying to give you some business) who was folding cutlery into napkins who we waited for him to acknowledge us but he didn’t so after an awkward minute of standing there we asked him could we pay the bill he said “I’ll be with you in a second”. He went to give the cutlery to a table and then walked off- his colleague came through by chance and took payment. Very strange atmosphere due to staff. Ate and left promptly.

24/11/2025: Just Stopped in with my Brother and a friend last Tuesday the 18. We had the place all to ourselves. The Young Lady who served us was extremely pleasant and Engaging

14/11/2025: Great fish and chips straight from Dingle Harbour. Friendly service and a couple of Guinness helped the food perfectly.

30/12/2025: A fabulous restaurant and bar. The place is spotless and the staff friendly. The food was delicious and THANK YOU for so many gluten free options. Kudos to you. Best menu I've seen to date for bar food.

18/12/2025: Best restaurant ive been to in Killarney. Food was delicious, plenty of options on the menu. Slow braised beef was delicious, as was the complimentary guinness soda bread. The service was perfect, Brendan and co were very warm, attentive and helpful and we had the craic with them. Highly recommend

07/01/2026: Great restaurant with great service. The steak was to die for and the brown bread is the best around. Pity they don’t sell it in loafs! Make sure you book as it’s quite a small restaurant and very popular.

31/12/2025: They kindly fitted 13 of us in last minute on new years eve. We had such a gorgeous evening and meal. So helpful and accommodating with 7 kids! Food was delicious. We had chicken wings to start, then lamb shank and salmon , all yummy! Service was excellent, so friendly and we had a great time. Thanks again, highly recommended 👌

03/01/2026: Amazing gluten free options! All gluten free fish and chips were cooked in a seperate fryer and staff were super knowledgeable. I ordered the gluten free fish and chips and it was delicious. Would recommend to anyone with celiacs!

08/01/2026: Nice little café at the beginning of the Gap of Dunloe road. We refueled with afternoon tea here after walking the entire trail, and it was a nice respite from the cold and rainy weather. The baked goods were alright. Don't order the matcha latte. Probably one of the worst I've ever had.
