24/10/2024: Don't know if it's owned by the same family now but they used to have another place up in Lahinch twenty years ago. I worked there a few summers when I was a teenager. Loved working there, everyone did. Enzo was the nicest boss I ever had and a brilliant sense of humour!! Great banter in there with all the staff and the older ones would look after the younger ones. Always got my dinners there whatever I wanted. Great great memories!
01/07/2024: Food here was a disgrace. I ordered two fresh cod and chips. The chips are not fresh. Came out of a frozen packet. The same with the cod. This was frozen also. I gave the benefit of the doubt but when I got home, the chips and fish were soaked in oil and left a thick coating on the plate. The fish was so thin and miserable it wasn't palatable. I tried a bit but got a weird taste (probably from all the oil). I think this is the worst take away I've ever gotten. The whole lot went straight in the bin. So disappointed and would not recommend this "chipper" to anyone now.

12/03/2025: Ordered the food and drinks and eventually when it arrived I told the waiter that there were drinks to accompany the food and he said “that’s not my problem “ I said excuse me and he just walked in to the kitchen and ignored me. Horrible experience just for management this happened at 16.01 on the 12th of march and I’m will to I D the staff member if necessary
13/02/2025: Had a burger there last week. It was burnt on the outside and stone cold on the inside. Ok for a drink but not for a bite to eat.

Small cozy place, perfect atmosphere, great food for a snack or a full meal. Great prices too.

10/03/2025: food is normally good there but they always end up messing up the orders with wrong toppings, pizzas cut wrong.. this is the third time this has happened to me where an order was wrong, if you want your order correct go somewhere else’s.
22/02/2025: I don't know how this place has good reviews, food is bad, staff try to scam money if they think you are drunk, never again! Avoid!

09/02/2025: ‼️‼️‼️avoid at all costs. Me and my boyfriend were here for a night at the darts which was a very good night. When we got back to our room we noticed a stain on our phone which looked at blood( see photo below). When we brought this to the attention to the hotel the porter came and switched the phones he blamed me for putting makeup on the phone and didn’t apologise once to us. My boyfriend then went to talk to a manager and he insisted it wasn't blood but had no proof it wasn’t. He said to him just to go to bed and speak to someone in the morning about it. When we brought it up the morning there wasn’t anything done with it. Terrible service all round don’t stay here at all.
